The food at this restaurant is amazing -- I loved the taste, the packaging, and the overall experience. Most of the staff are very respectful and kind, and I really appreciate Raja, the cashier. He was polite, helpful, and professional. However, there was one bad experience with another employee -- a bald guy who also speaks Dari. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. I clearly asked for the samosa and chicken biryani sauce, which usually comes free, if you need extra, you have to buy but he ignored me even after I repeated myself. It felt like he didn't care at all. Besides that one person, everything else was great. I'll definitely come back again -- just hoping to deal with Raja or other respectful staff instead. read more

You order and pay before getting a number to have your food delievered. There's no assigned table as it is first come, first serve. If you see a table, sit your butt down asap. Lamb shank is meaty, fatty and full of flavor. Lots of tendon which my parents like too. Lamb meat is good. Doesn't melt in your mouth but it is not chewy. Chicken Tikka Masala - Always get this. It is good with rich tomato flavor. I would usually order this and a plain naan and I still have leftover to bring home and mix it with rice and boiled chicken to make Tikka Masala Chicken Rice Bowl. Lamb Curry - very good. Can make it spicy to your preference. It coats your mouth and you can feel the spices working its magic and making you sweat. Chicken Breast Tandoori - giant piece of chicken meat. Cooked just right. Chicken Tikka Kabob - same as above, big pieces, juicy and pairs well with just rice or with any sauce. Bhindi Gosht - When the okra is just right and not old, it is addicting with the lamb meat. If the okra is chewy then it makes it hard to eat. Naan Bread - Plain Naans is all you need with all the sauce they give you. Soaks up the sauces really well and is a good carb if you don't want rice Biryani - Plain Biryani or Lamb Biryani, can't go wrong. This place used to be good. Now they just don't care. Why? You order your food for dine in, and it takes 30 minutes. Not a big deal except here's the real issue. They don't time their naans right with the time they bring out the curry to your table. Other places will bring the curry first and seconds later bring hot naan fresh from the tandoor oven. This place brings your curry and then brings naans that were stacked on each other for 5-10 minutes after they were cooked and bring those to your table. As a result the experience is mediocre. You have hot curry with naan that is tough to break and isn't fresh. Due to this, I won't be returning as that experience isn't actually good. read more

In addition, our garlic naan tasted like it was really old, which made it really chewy and difficult to eat. This was very disappointing. We went to Naan n Curry last weekend after a neighbor told us we should give it a try. Wow! The food was very good and had nice portions. I had the lamb curry which came with rice. My wife had the shrimp biryani and the chana masala. We both shared a plain and a garlic naan which were enormous! Indian music was playing to further remind us of where we were! :-) The manager (owner?) was very patient and had a great sense of humor.
