We dined inside but we did not use their bathrooms. This establishment is counter service but they brought our food to us. We shared the Samosa Chaat, which was delicious and loaded with chutneys, yogurt, and chickpeas. Very enjoyable to eat. My Shahi Paneer was also very tasty with a nice, creamy tomato sauce. However, my mother didn't enjoy her Goat Tikka. She said it was too boney (which is really a common complaint for her so take that as you will.) On another visit, my husband and I ordered chicken wraps. While they were generous with the meat, the wraps were quite salty and over sauced. The condiments completely soaked the vegetable garnishes, which overpowered the flavor. Overall, I think this franchise of Naan Twist is good and the prices are reasonable. Got sick immediately after eating here - something was wrong with the Daal. I visited the Woodland location last night and ordered the Urad Daal and 4 Tawa Rotis. I eat this exact meal at home regularly and never have issues, so I know it wasn't a dietary intolerance. However, as soon as I left the restaurant, I felt my stomach turn and had to rush home immediately to use the restroom. The urgency was extreme. It felt like the daal was either spoiled or prepared with way too much baking soda/tenderizer to soften the lentils quickly. I had a taste for butter chicken and some garlic naan. And my girlfriend wanted chicken tikka Marsala and the lamb tikka Marsala. We also tried the samosas. To me the samosas were my favorite. The naan didn't taste like it had garlic. The chicken tikka Marsala was about a 6/10 butter chicken 6/10 the flavors just not what I am used to and the garlic naan 4/10 samosa 8/10. Stopped by Naan Twist in Del Paso Natomas and tried the butter chicken and chicken Manchurian. The butter chicken was average, and the heavy use of fenugreek leaves (Kasuri methi) made the flavor lean slightly bitter rather than creamy and well balanced. The chicken Manchurian, however, was the bigger disappointment. As someone familiar with Indo Chinese fusion cuisine, I expected the classic combination of fried chicken pieces tossed in a sauce built on soy, chili, garlic, ginger, and vinegar with a bold savory and spicy profile. Instead, the dish tasted more like orange chicken mixed with onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers, lacking the depth, heat, and umami that define proper Manchurian. The Chef needs to experience what the authentic Manchurian tastes like before serving it on his menu. Service is basic since most of it is self serve, but the ambience is clean and simple, which works fine for a casual meal. Overall, while the place is neat and the concept is appealing, the flavors fell short of what I expected. The food is incredible value, it's one of the few places that serves a full meal for under 20 dollars. The mini and mega meal are perfect for a college student like me who needs something to eat for a fair price. While the restaurant isn't the fanciest location, the service and roomy scene make it worth at least checking out. I highly recommend ordering for takeout for nights you don't feel like cooking but also don't wanna spend an arm and a leg for a meal :) read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered veg noodle burger, malai soya chaap, and goli wala bata, and honestly, none of the dishes were good. The taste was off, the food didn't feel fresh, and the overall quality was far below expectations. For an Indian restaurant, this was really underwhelming. Had to visit again. I love that they offer in store combo plates. I ordered the mini which includes butter chicken rice and naan. Husband had a 2 curry plate of butter chicken, Tikka masala, rice, cucumber salad, raita, naan. Also ordered samosas which came with a mint sauce and sweet sauce. Tried a mini box of sweets. Everything was amazing. I'm glad to have a new dining option in natomas. Restaurant was clean, display played local events and music was at a level that you could still have a conversation. I'm SO happy an Indian spot opened by where I live! So many options on food, drinks and sweets, it's hard to choose! I got the samosa chaat and a piece of mango cake and loved every bite. The chai here is delightful too. I'm wanting to try their sweets - perfect for Indian gifts (they have pretty boxes available). And also their Indian style pizza! And more veggie dishes! The food was great me and my friend got meal #2 it came with your choice of curry, rice and naan and a white creamy sauce. I got the butter chicken and it was amazing super tender and seasoned to perfection! It had a little kick to it. The place overall is big and lots of seating. They have 4 tv's playing different sports which is nice. The music is great and the people are very friendly. The service was good but they took a while to notice me standing there trying to order. Daughter and I ordered delivery, order came with no rice! Naan was not an option. Had to add the naan to order. I asked for no spice in my butter chicken. Was spicy and could not finish my food. The naan was also thin. My daughter said that the online order menu had No Pictures of the meals/items which made it hard to order and it didn't give you details on what was included with your meal. I ordered at 10:30pm and the place didn't seem that busy. I ordered 2 chicken Biryanis and a butter naan. They asked for what spice level and I told them "No spice at all" and they even wrote it in the order and on the receipt and I double checked to make sure. After I paid they told me it would be 20min. I thought that's pretty long considering how not busy it was, but I agreed because I already paid. When I finally got the food I brought it home excited but when I opened the bag I was discouraged of the amount they gave me. I received it in a odd 3 portion container with a bit of sauce in each small slot, which could have been put in small 2oz containers. The amount of food was 1/3 of what I would normally get anywhere else, that definitely was disappointing and bothersome but it only got worse. While eating, nearly crack my teeth on a couple random pieces of bone and a couple cinnamon bark pieces as well. My wife couldn't even tolerate the spice, it was so spicy. While eating mine, I do have a spice tolerance and it was even hard for me to eat. I know when it's really spicy when I start sweating through my scalp, this had me sweating profusely through my scalp and nose running and had me punching the air. It was uncomfortable. My wife couldn't even eat hers and I could barely even finish mine. EVEN THOUGH I DOUBLE CHECKED NO SPICE, we were very upset and out $30. We were there for a quick lunch and then back out on the highway. The person taking orders at the counter was super friendly but wasn't sure about ingredients and had no idea if things had gluten or dairy. If I hadn't been so tired and hungry, I would have left and found another place - but I didn't, so me getting sick is on me. I thought I would be safe ordering things I've gotten in the past - vegetable pakoras and dal makhani. And rice. But I was wrong. Asked for medium spice and it was pretty bland. The chutneys were not very flavorful. My husband got the chicken tikka burger and wasn't impressed - said the bun, lettuce and tomato really took away from the flavor. I have to say, I don't believe any of these reviews. I have ordered in store, for pick up & DoorDash and it's always been disappointing. These twist franchises are opening up all over Sacramento and each one I've been to has been really poorly run by people who have no experience running a successful business. The food here is old, portions are very small for the price and very oily. I don't see how it's still in business a year later. Check their DoorDash reviews. Those are real. I don't know how they're giving themselves high ratings except for friends and family. Eat at your own risk. read more

Some very mediocre indian food. Definitely overpriced for the quality and medium-small portions compared to other local places. And If you order online its difficult to add a side of rice to curry dishes so you're basically ordering a curry soup. We have tried this chain earlier as well but this location had the closest authentic flavor. Pardon for not sharing pics we were so taken by flavour that totally forgot to click pictures. We ordered pizza, soya tikka chaap (must try), chhole bhature and paneer burger. Everything was good. Staff is nice, helpful and courteous. Punjabi songs just added to the vibe.
