The hash browns had zero flavor/seasoning and were a bit soggy. They were the base of my meal, so it was very disappointing. The kielbasa in it was browned nicely, but didn't make up for it. My husband's omelette oddly had a Kraft single melted on the top of it. C'mon. The "pan potatoes" were hard, dry, and uniform, clearly frozen. Again, not a lot of seasoning. Homefries should shine in a breakfast meal! Chili in the omelette tasted suspiciously like Hormel in a can. He did enjoy the biscuit and gravy, and that's hard to make happen. My daughter thought the sourdough was good. It was over $100.00 for our meal, the prices were a little steep, especially for what they were - average breakfast food, at best. I feel bad saying that, but there didn't seem to be a lot of pride in the food.

This is a very difficult day for me folks. Writing this to you brings back all of the painful memories of one of the most difficult lunch breaks of my life. That would be the day that Nadeau's Subs closed its doors one final time at its canal street location, and permanently moved into its new forever home on hooksett road. Bear with me, I'm going to try to hold it together and get through this. But, this is like reviewing your high school sweetheart after her father landed an amazing job in California working for a tech giant, and she realizes that she is a year away from college with copious amounts of single blonde haired, red-convertible driving surfer boys, and suddenly forgets to ever contact you again. Okay....that may or may not happened to someone whose name rhymes with "Nicky Sea". But, I digress. Back to Nadeaus. This sub shop was voted the number one subs in the world, ever known to man. And, the first time my teeth sank into the fresh footlong smothered in chipotle mayo and banana peppers, I knew why. Not only was the steak and cheese among the best I have ever had, but the fountain soda machine was the first fountain soda machine in the world to offer me more than one type of soda through a touch screen with the capability to add any flavor on top of any base flavor and shoot it all out to me through one spout. Selection occurs with ease, as you navigate the touch screen with one finger tip. It is literally like having John W. Pepsi (founder and CEO of Pepsi) standing right in front of you, and offering to cook up any batch of delicious carbonated soda pop that you can dream of. On top of that, Nadeaus offers a wide variety of chips to choose from. From bbq, to lays orignal, to multiple flavors of Doritos. May I suggest the cool ranch, anyone? Yes please. Give me two. I could go on and on, but I will stop short. As any relationship comes to an end, it is healthy to cut it off fully and move on. And, now I must do the same with Nadeaus. Will I stalk her on social media, call her up only to hang up and change my mind about ordering? Will I write her notes about how I miss her onions on my meat, and then throw them away and never send them to her? Yes, to all of the above. But, I know this. Someone else will discover her at her new location, and they will walk through her doors and up to the friendly counter. And, they will find and love and appreciate all that I once had. And they will cherish her steak and her cheese and I hope that when they do, she never leaves them the way she did me. That makes me happy. That is all I can ask for. read more

I flew all the way from seattle to boston, got to nadeaus at 9.35 pm through a freaking snowstorm and guess what, they where closin. I told my plight to the young man bringin in the sighn. he said he was sorry and i understood.i went there the next day and that fella remembered me and got me the best steak and cheese i have ever had. I have been a customer for over 35 years and I have not found any other sub Shoppe that can copare to what is made at Nadeau's. I recomend your Sub Shoppe to all of my friends. A few of my coworkers also live in this neighborhood and they frequented Cimo's for many years and Ordway's before that. Flanagan's offers made to order breakfast & lunch sandwiches/subs, grilled items, pizza, chili, soups, plus grab & go items such as wraps, subs, finger sandwiches, salads, deli salads, parfaits, baked goods and special heat & serve entrees (shepherd's pie, jambalaya). The prices here seem reasonable, most made to order items $5-$10 range. Place your order at the deli counter (they give you an order slip to bring over to pay at the market register, and pick up your prepared food at the deli counter. Besides prepared food items, the market offers a variety of cold beers (including NH beers), bottled soft drinks, juices, water, wine, hot coffee, snacks, candy, bread products, NH maple syrup, fresh berries, and NH Lottery scratch tickets. There is also an ice cream trailer outside next to the building too! I stopped in here twice this week, for takeout dinner and takeout lunch. Earlier this week, I stopped in here around 7:15 PM near closing time, but the deli/grill counter was closed for the day (closes at 5 PM), so I was limited to grab & go items only. I picked up a container of homemade macaroni salad ($3.25/lb plus tax) and a microwave & serve Jambalaya ($5.99 plus tax) to enjoy at home. The macaroni salad had a mix of soft ridged elbows, chopped celery, red peppers, tomatoes, seasonings in a light mayo dressing. The Jambalaya (heated in microwave) had a medium spicy flavor with a mix of red beans, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, chicken, smoked sausage and long grain rice in a tomato broth. Later this week, I stopped in here around lunch time and the place was very busy, parking lot very full. I placed my order the deli/grill counter for the Our Cuban Sub ($8.50 plus tax) and also grabbed a container of Garden Salad ($3.95/lb plus tax). Since the place was very busy, it took about 15 minutes before my name was called to pick up my sub. The Our Cuban Sub (7") was thick and heavy, layered with slices of grilled deli ham, tender carved pork, chopped dill pickles, yellow mustard, melted provolone cheese on a thick soft chewy toasted white sub roll. The Garden Salad had a mix of farfalle (bowtie) pasta, chopped red peppers, green peppers, green zucchini, yellow zucchini, spinach, cheese in a light oil dressing. Overall, the food I ordered from Flanagan's South Ender was excellent and freshly prepared. I will definitely have to stop in here for breakfast takeout before work shift.
