    I loved the food! I went during their brunch special on a weekend and got the congee. Not the most gourmet congee, but I could add whatever toppings I wanted and their options included so many southeast Asian toppings that I just can't get at other Asian restaurants. If you're looking for gourmet congee, you may not like it, But if you're looking for congee with the best customizable toppings, this is the right place so it's really what you make it. They also had drinks that were very creative. The server was super nice and answered so many questions. This place is a very casual place so you can wear whatever you want. It was a little hard to find because they are inside the Wild Ginger Thai restaurant but well worth it.

    TLDR: 4.5/5 fried pork laap was excellent, pad Thai had great texture and sauce but was a bit sweet. Went here as part of their soft opening because I heard it's from the same group that owns snack box bistro, one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Naga bistro also sells pork belly laap, my go to order from snack box bistro, so I went with that and tried the moo ping for an app as well as their pad Thai (which comes with shrimp and chicken). The pork belly laap was very well cooked, crispy, tangy, and herby. It comes with a side of sticky rice as part of the price, a welcomed difference from snack box bistro. I think snack box bistro tastes slightly better but not enough to justify the drive to Duluth so I will definitely be coming here again. The pad Thai was very well cooked with nice chewy noodles and a perfect sauce to noodle ratio. Enough to coat the noodles but not too much to be wet and runny. It was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but still very good. The moo ping was very tender and flavorful from the herbs and being grilled, but was smaller than expected. Service in general was a bit slow, but will chalk that up to the soft opening. One of our group's order was lost by the kitchen but they kindly took 50% off her check as an apology. Overall, an excellent meal and I will definitely be coming back. I expect it will only get better with time.

    Naga Bistro took over the Wild Ginger space off Savoy Drive. Word is these are the owners of Snackboxe Bistro. Naga serves Thai, Lao, and Cambodian food. A close friend of mine, who heard about this new spot, recommended it to me. We went family-style and ordered a variety of dishes. FOOD - Roti with Cambodian Chicken Curry - Nam Khao Salad - Beef Lad Na - Pork Belly Combo Box - Chicken Cha Kroeung - Water Spinach - White Rice - Sticky Rice Everything was fantastic! I appreciated the variety of flavors in the dishes, which included sweetness, heat, umami, and citrus notes. Each plate was beautifully presented and delicious! Highly recommend. If you've never tried Lao or Cambodian food, don't worry! The menu here is easy to understand, and all ingredients are listed. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, so ask questions! I'll be back.

    UPDATE: Owner Thip messaged me and informed me that they have bigger chairs upon request. Also found out that the photo taken is not the basil chicken, its a lemongrass chicken (so they possibly gave me the wrong order as I ordered the basil chicken). It is also nice to know that the same chefs from Wild Ginger still work at Naga Bistro! I regular at Wild Ginger and was surprised that Naga Bistro has taken over since the signage wasnt updated. I decided to try it after reading that they were owned by the same people who ran SnackBoxe, which I love! The renovations they made to the restaurant is nice and have a modern take to it. The chairs however, are a little on the flimsier side so as a bigger guy, it made me nervous to do any sudden movements in fears of breaking them. The nice thing Wild Ginger had was a lunch menu, but Naga Bistro didnt have that. I tried their basil chicken and tomyum, which honestly was not the best. The chicken had a sliminess to it and the sauce itself was on the saltier and bitter side. The tomyum didnt taste like traditional tomyum either. Service and ambiance was good, but overall the food was disappointing. Maybe ill give it another shot and ask for food recommendations, but overall im missing my small mom and pop shop, authentic vibe from Wild Ginger

    I think it's still soft opening, it's located at the old wild ginger location! Came for dinner on a weeknight and when we walked in it wasn't too busy, but was definitely picking up throughout the night! Got the pork belly combo, kathiew and tom yum soup. The pork belly combo was definitely my favorite ! It came with sticky rice, spring roll, papaya salad, hard boiled eggs and a soft drink!! It was so worth it! The stick rice texture was so good and paired so well with the pork. The jeow som sauce also was amazing to dip in! It was spicy and sour, a great combo. The pork belly had the perfect amount of meat to fatty, and it was so crispy. The kathiew was so so flavorful and hearty! The noodles were also so good. It is a little bit thicker than pho noodles! I loved it! There was also tons of meat in it and even seafood. I didn't get the crispy fried bread though, maybe they ran out? And I forgot to ask cause they got busy! The tomyum soup was good as well, it was spicy and sour! It had tons of mushroom and chicken and fresh shrimp. Overall, this meal was so satisfying! Can't wait to be back.

    I really want to support our Southeast Asian community restaurants and businesses, but it's so hard to when they don't want you to support them. We have been to Naga Bistro multiple times since they opened. Today, was not the day. We waited around 20 minutes for someone to take our order. During that time, we noticed a lot of menu changes, but that makes sense since they are awkwardly still in their soft opening. After we ordered, our food came about 25 minutes later. When the waitress dropped our food off, she tells us there was only one sticky rice left so she would get the regular white rice for us and ran off. I had to call her back to question why the white rice and becuase we were still missing some items we ordered. She said "well there's no more sticky rice." No apologies or asking if there was a substitute available, she just ran off. Another lady came to ask how everything was, and we had told her the pork belly wasn't crispy, the chicken wings were bland and as tiny as your $1.65 sauce, and we only received one sticky rice. She goes "oh okay." And she walks away. We will not be coming back. The service and food were terrible, despite not being busy at all! It's so hard to support your culture and community when they don't try better for themselves.

    The service was great because my server was really attentive. This was my first time trying this place. It has some of the best papaya salad I've ever had. The roti was perfect and I'd loved the cook on the steak.

    Stopped by for dinner on New Years Eve. We didn't have to wait for a table but it got busier the later it got so service was just okay. I wanted to try something new so ordered the Lad Na with shrimp and Cha Kroeung with pork to share with my friend. It was just enough food to be full and both dishes had interesting flavors. I want to come back for the lunch specials!

    This small restaurant was busy on a Sunday evening. Located where Wild Ginger used to be (outside signage still says Wild Ginger as of 1/18/26). Came in with a party of 11 and were promptly seated. They may be understaffed because the service was very slow, especially with how long it took the food to come out. Our food came out piece meal style with one person receiving their food, the next person a few minutes later, so on and so forth. It kinda sucks when this happens because the first person's food always gets a little cold as they patiently try and wait for everyone else's food to come out. Our food also didn't quite come out correct. One person in my party had ordered no spice on their laap, while another person ordered medium spice on theirs, and those got mixed up. Another person had ordered steamed rice with their laap but got sticky rice, while the other person was told that they ran out of sticky rice and was given steamed rice. With how many things that got mixed up, I'm curious if my laap dish also received the wrong spice level, as it was quite spicy for a medium level in my opinion. The Kathiew was decent - it closely resembles pho but has a bit of a tangier profile. I wish the beef rib was more tender, but otherwise I appreciate that it came with a good amount of meat and some shrimp. A good dish for a cold day! The food overall was decent but nothing amazing - perhaps Cambodian and Laotian food is not quite for me. I think the lacking service hurt the experience for me. The portion sizes are pretty decent.

    This Laotian/Khmer restaurant occupies a space that still displays the previous tenant's signage, which can make it easy to miss on a first visit. The menu covers a mix of familiar and regional dishes. The Lao sausage is a simple, well‑seasoned starter served with a chili sauce. The Khmer‑style pho has a noticeably stronger beef and pork profile than the Vietnamese version and comes with a substantial amount of meat. The Naga Pad Thai follows a traditional preparation and includes generous portions of chicken and shrimp. The Cha Kroeung--a basil and green pepper curry with chicken--was one of the more distinctive items. Presentation across dishes is thoughtful and pleasant. Service has been friendly and efficient. The interior is slightly romantic intentionally arranged, with small table lamps that give the room a slightly more intimate feel. Overall, it's a place I'll be revisiting, especially for the pho during colder months. Big fan.

    The interior is nice & cozy. The restaurant sign on the outside is still "wild Ginger" instead of "Naga Bistro". Service is good, friendly staffs. Food is average. We had Prahok Ktis which is the better one of the 4 dishes. Water Spinach is a little tough and on the sweet side. Papaya salad (Thum) is also on the sweet side; not enough of umami authentic flavor. Moo Ping is average as well; meat on the chewy side. We will stick with "Snack Boxe Bistro" for now.

    It was just the two of us and decided to try this after reading about it. So I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant is owned by the same people who own Snack Boxe! Naga is definitely an upgraded version of the now shuttered Snackboxe in Doraville. We ordered the Pork Sausage, Kathiew and Water Spinach. The pork sausage with the sauce was a perfect bite of savory, sour, spicy and sweet. The sauce definitely gave the pork sausage a lift. The Kathiew came with an epic rib bone! Shrimp and beef slices. It really was delicious and not overly salty. My only quibble was the water spinach. The wok wasn't quite hot enough and so the vegetable stayed a little too long in the wok which causes it to lose its crunch. We were too full to order dessert but did try a slice of coconut cake which was lighter and not as sweet as we expected, which is a good thing because we don't like our cakes overly sweet. Overall a solid experience especially for the restaurant's soft opening. FYI, the restaurant is located in the old Wild Ginger restaurant location.

Sandwich was small in size too. Too many better banh mi places to dine in my opinion. This place seems to be popular based upon its longevity and not its quality.
