Arrival was checked in and then told to wait. Usually other nail salons have me pick the color first. I was escorted to the massage chair all the way to the end of the room and then asked what colors I wanted. I got both a mani/pedi with gel. Since I don't get them often, I wasn't aware that I had picked a cat color magnetic nail polish that cost extra. They quoted me the amount but didn't give me a breakdown of the cost. I was happy with how the nails looked, but because of lack of transparency with the fees, it ended up being more than I had expected. The actual service was fast and they were both done within the hour. It also would be helpful for new customers to get a brief overview so they could know that there's snacks/drinks and which types of nail polish there are.

We reached out to Yuka on Yelp, and she was able to help us pick out designs and schedule a pair appointment. One of the things that drew me to Yuka's (besides her incredible designs!) was the option for a pair appointment, as my friend and I wanted to experience our first mani's together. Missed my dinner reservation because of poor time management. Prior to the appointment I shared an image of what I would like done and was told that's not a problem. I questioned what appointment type I would need. I booked an appointment expecting to pay approximately $200 as stated on the website. I didn't leave until almost 10:00PM that night. I was charged 508.00 for a manicure that consists of gel, glitter and two plastic gems per nail. She can't manage an appointment book nor can she give clarity of her pricing. Don't bother, your time and money will be wasted.
