Used to come here a lot. I've always got super simple nails, either one color or French tips. This last time I went was horrible. I've never had a problem here getting French tips on stiletto shaped nails before. They're all so uneven. I asked in the shop for her to fix them but they don't look any better. My nails are so thick and oddly shaped, I actually hate them. The stilettos are not pointy and they are really wide.
I've been going to Tammy for years and she always does an amazing job! I always get exactly what I ask for. All of the techs and both owners are friendly as well. I highly recommend Nail Art!
My friend and I walked in for a fill on a Thursday night. We wanted some Valentine's Day nails! The gentleman greeted us right as we walked in. The nail techs where able to see us within 5min. They did our nails just like we wanted including the design we wanted! At a great price. We found our new nail place.
Well... I tried this place once again, after years of going to other nail shops, hoping that things might've changed. The reason I never returned just came SCREAMING back to me. There is zero consistency and quality in the way they do nails. The pictures posted with us. We're just from four days ago. I had to file and paint over with a similar color, hoping no one would notice well celebrating Christmas with family. Super frustrated that when I came by to fix it, they didn't seem to want to help me fix the problem without charging me for it, or potentially, didn't believe that I had gone to them in the first place. And I'm ALWAYS a really good tipper. I wish I could get my $30 tip back. I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER be returning to this place.!!!!
Today was the first time in over 20 years that I've had a full set of nails done. The special occasion for me is my daughter's wedding this weekend and Mimi did not let me down. She works quickly, yet is very meticulous in getting things straight, even and smooth. I wanted a little bling but did not know exactly what would look best. She took it from there and the results are sleek, clean and stylish. Thank you Mimi for your excellent skills and my beautiful mother-of-the-bride nails!
My first time here- Vicky did a great job. Staff was very welcoming and friendly throughout. Salon looked very clean and organized. I gave 4 instead of 5 because nails are beautiful and great quality but not "perfect". But I will be returning. Would recommend.
My photos of my nails are from April, July & August-September. The nails photographed with black and purple or my most recent unfortunately this morning I broke a nail so I went back and ask Kathy to fix the broken nail told her black would be fine instead of going through all the trouble of having to redesign the broken nail she offered to freestyle with black acrylic not a problem for me, the last picture with the circle is the end result. I love Kathy, considering every time I go in there with my own design in my head Kathy will always put it into play and she never disappoints me. Thank you Kathy
I've been coming to Nail Art for years. My daughter comes with me as well. Kathy is our favorite technician. She is always so sweet and smiley and she really pays attention to detail. We've had nothing but great service from Kathy and she's the reason we keep coming back. I always recommend Nail Art to my local friends

i came after work today for a pedicure and a fill. The pedicure was great my my actual nails are not. i feel really bad writing this because they were so nice but my nails came out so bad. i wanted basic ombré and the original woman who was doing my nails couldn't do it so they switched me to someone else. believe it or not they actually look a lot better then before but they are still really bad. i'm going somewhere tomorrow to get them fixed because this is so ugly.
As a hand model, I have to get manicures very often. I trust Lucy with everything! Lucey is amazing! She always has my nails very clean and perfectly painted. I had a woman here, I cannot remember her name but she was amazing also, and till she moved to Texas the period since then I have been working with Lucy and I am so so happy she is as amazing as she is. I have been going to this nail salon for over 10 years, I am moved to the East Bay so although I cannot come here every single time, I come here as often as I can. Expression Li if I have a commercial I am doing. I remember back when this spot used to be a lot smaller, since then they have expanded so much. I am very happy for their growth.
I came here for the first time with my coworker and was helped by Kathy, she did a great job and was the first to ever ask me about cleaning my cuticles and though two nails were slightly crooked I didn't mind because the shape was really nice and they were smooth. Had a mommy daughter date and brought my almost 8 year old daughter to get her toes and nails done with me. I showed them pictures of what we wanted, and the lady doing my daughters nails looked very stressed out because she wanted multi colored with little kitty designs, and I wanted something like an ombré glitter heart nails. Pics are provided of what we wanted compared to what we got. They did not do the gel and I paid as much as I would somewhere else for my daughter for her not to get gel so it will chip soon. My toes did not get gel, and my acrylic nails are bumpy and the butterfly designs are poking out from the gel. I will not be coming back, spent a little over $100 and feel like I wasted my money. Going to find somewhere to fix my nails..

Highly recommend this place. I came in for a walk-in manicure and Bella was available to help me out. Bella had so much attention to detail and my nails came out wonderful. I did a basic gel manicure in a pink color. Would definitely return for a manicure for Bella again! Highly recommend this place and Bella for painting your nails! read more

All I needed was a fill. I wanted ombre. Paid $47 and I can still see where the fill SHOULD HAVE BEEN and I have idk what all on my fingers (feels like glue but I'm sure it's acrylic) and I'm still peeling it off my fingers. My cuticles were cut however she cut all around my fingers. I'm bleeding on 3 fingers and my fingers all hurt. I use to go to this place for a long time years ago but I'll never go back after this. My fingers hurt so badly and my nails look like crap. I am so upset if I could give no stars I would. read more

As a hand model, I have to get manicures very often. I trust Lucy with everything! Lucey is amazing! She always has my nails very clean and perfectly painted. After looking at their reviews I was so excited to get art done on my nails. I mean the name of the business is Nail Art!! Too bad no one out of the 10 employees there was able to actually put 2 simple hearts on my party nails. So as you can see below in the picture, I asked for the cute red with jewel and white with red hearts party nails and I got blah. I prefer bubblegum pink so that was the only difference I asked for. (Yes that pic in red is from their actual yelp pics and not an idea I just made up on the spot). I normally grow my nails long but since I broke some, they were a little shorter than normal. But after my nail tech filed them, all of my nails ended up looking short and squat. Ugh! The front desk lady ended up spraying the hearts with a stencil and couldn't even make them look like hearts. I was so frustrated that after multiple times of her trying to make a heart I told her to just wipe it off. I gave up. This is supposed to be a place of relaxation and beauty and I felt the opposite. Also, I hate when I go to nail salons and they all speak in a different language to each other. You know they are talking crap about you or the situation and It's rude! The only positive was the pedicure. You can't mess up painting toes. read more

Everyone there was super sweet and welcoming. Made me feel comfortable. I wasn't exactly happy about my nails because the shape was very off and uneven and the nail itself was extremely thick and lumpy. They were definitely rushing the process and you can see it in the quality. read more

The salon is clean and the workers were very friendly. I'm not sure which artist I got but she did an amazing job! I'm so in love with my nails I'll definitely be coming back. This set was $57! read more

I wanted to try a new nail salon because previous nail salons didn't meet my standards . However , this nail salon did . I personally like acrylic nails that are a bit "Extra" and I can say that Lily did an amazing job . I have never seen someone who makes sure that the nail is perfect and doesn't have any bumps . She took her time perfecting everything! She made sure I was comfortable with the powder she used and the colors , just incase I didn't like what the color looked like on my nails. She did outstanding! The customer service is amazing , the Manager welcomed everyone ! The nail salon is kind of hidden . Everything is done outside and they make sure to sanitize everything! My mother got a pedicure from Julia and she loved the way she took her time to get everything! read more

I just want to say I don't really get my nails done. So when I do I make sure I come here. Even though I have no clue what to ask for lol I just tell them I want a manicure and pedicure and show them a picture from Pinterest lol They are always supper friendly when I come and make me feel welcome and I really love that Today I came in for a walk-in as usual and I was attended really fast and Don help me with my manicure and pedicures. To be honest I was a little disappointed with my pedicure so that's why I'm just giving it a 4 start. read more

The pictures will speak for themselves. Manager was nice enough not to charge me but these are the absolute worst nails I've ever gotten.. I almost can't believe the nail tech was gonna let me walk out like that.. worst 2 and a half hours of my life. I'm honestly so embarrassed. read more

This place is the worst I've been to in a long time. They had about a 30 minute wait on a Saturday morning, which was understandable so I my friend and I just walked about until our turn. When they did both out nails, it was super fast. I asked for an almond shape while my friend just stuck with square nails. The shape was awful! It was so uneven and crooked that when I got home I had to reshape them myself. I filed the color off too since so much shaping had made the gel chip. It's been one week and without color I can clearly see how much lifting there is! Like every single nail! I paid $37 for a new set and shape and it's more than what I usually pay at other salons. read more

I usually get my pedis here so I thought I'd try a full set white powder tip for the first time in 6 months since being pregnant. I've been wanting to grow out my nails but maternity photo shoot is tomorrow so I figured a new set would be pretty. I was so wrong. I showed the nail tech the inspo nail picture and she said the white tip can't be too far up because of my nail bed, fair enough, I asked her just as far up as you can make it please. Throughout the process not once was I asked what shape do I want so I'm assuming she's going based off the picture. Wrong again. Then we get to the pink powder. I told her I don't want it that pink. More natural. She tells me "that doesn't look pretty". I'm way too nice and proceeded to shut my mouth. Overall horrific experience with this set I just want to take them all off before my maternity photo shoot tomorrow, I should've known. I'm sitting here at home filing the sides in hopes to make them look somewhat decent but as soon as I was given an older nail tech I should've requested someone else. The thing is I still tipped her for her service and when paying I said "everything was good" but the more I sit at home and show my friends, bf & daughter, the more horrified I am with this set. I have been coming here since 15 some of the girl that where really good left and open their nail shop.. today i had it they jacked up my nails so bad not only was I cut but my nails looked horrible. So bad that a lady at the store told me sorry but your nails look ugly... I told her I know I am going back to nail art and gettin them fix . That's when she told me that place sucks now. Go to BELLAGIO.. she said that girl use to work for nail art but she open her own place.. DO NOT COME HERE SPECIALLY WITH GIRL #9 SHE DOES NOT KNOW WTH SHE IS DOING.. TODAY WILL BE MY LAST DAY... I've lived in San Jose for nearly ten years and this is hands-down the best place I've found as long as I've been here. The service is great and they always have the newest nail trends available before anyone else. I was getting chrome from this shop MONTHS ago! This came in handy the other day when I was stuck on an elevator with a coworker I can't stand who kept bragging about her "new" chrome nails. I took one look, then smiled and said "Oh, chrome! Cute, I had those back in August." Haha, that was fun. *evil smirk* Now I'm into holographic nails and after calling around I quickly found out that most shops in the area don't even offer them yet and those that do are charging way too much. Nail Art on the other hand is extremely reasonable, especially considering the level of service they offer. The people working there are also really great. Connie, the lovely girl who does most of the nail art is super sweet and always up on the latest nail trends. Leon, the guy who runs the shop, is a sharp looking dude who treats customers like family and makes sure we always leave happy. I know personal appearance doesn't have anything to do with nails, but if I'm going into a shop because I wanna step up my nail game, I'm not expecting much if the first person I see when I walk in is wearing slippers, knee socks, and a Nickleback t-shirt with carne asada stains down the front. That's definitely not the case here! They also have a huge staff and lots of stations so it's pretty easy to get an appointment, even it's super busy when you come in. If you want gorgeous, Instagram worthy nails at an affordable price, this is the place to go! read more
