Best nail place in Pasadena, for sure. The prices are GREAT. The CHAIRS - the best massage chairs I've experienced in L.A. They are CLEAN - their tools come from sealed, plastic casings, and they clean the pedicure bowls after each use. They are FRIENDLY - they welcome you and are pretty chill; they aren't pushy about upselling you (though they will ask) The gel manicure lasts for a LONG TIME - just make sure you don't let them use the LED light machine (LED gels never last very long); and they have tons of cool colors! Great pedicure, too. They do a great job; usually my nails are really evenly shaped. Relaxing and usually not too long of a wait (I usually never have to wait). just wish they were open later on the week nights!!! read more

I love this place!! I've been biting my nails for as long as I can remember and came here to try and cut my habit. I've been coming here for 5 months for acrylics/ dip and for the first I actually have nails!! A full set of acrylics is about $35 and dip is $45. The only place I come to get my nails done. Everything is on point: service, nail polish selections, spa chairs, and prices! Spa chairs - honestly, if you wanna relax and have your nails done at the same time, this is the way to go. It feels great! And I would definitely recommend the deluxe packages. Regular - when I'm in a rush, I just get the regular mani and pedi. I still get great results. Service - I can't complain. Everybody's really polite and nice. I always try to get Linda though. This review is strictly for a manicure with gel polish. I went there a month ago and tried the gel polish for the first time. Katelyn was my manicurist. She applied the gel so perfectly that it actually lasted for almost a month! No lie! I went back this past week for another manicure and Katelyn was there and helped me again. The place is small and kind of dreary and they don't talk to you at all which is odd, but for the money and the results, it can not be beat. I will definately go there again and again for this simple procedure. If you want a high end fancy salon, this isn't it. If you want a good job go there! My new girl is HOLLY - trust me when I say, she knows what she's doing! I ask for a deep manicure, meaning get alllllll the skin you possibly can. I told her when I first met her to not be afraid to get in there haha she did an amazing job and I went back a second time and yet again, another amazing job (gel as well). I drifted from the salon wanting to go some where closer to home so I was trying around my neighborhood and NO ONE can compare to Hollys work. She is the bomb!! Her hand massage is amazing too. I went back after failed attempts to be closer to home and man, my cuticles needed her desperately. She makes my manicure last 3 weeks versus a week and a half to 2. The ONLY downer is that the gel options look old and out dated. I would definitely love to see new pretty colors like pastels, soft tones, fun tones, eye catching tones, etc. They have alot of shades of red and pink :/ Its definitely time to update their gel options. read more

Decent prices. Pedicure $15. Spa pedicure (massage chairs, feet scrub, massage) $20. Cash only for tip. The place is fairly large with 7 massage chairs and 5 regular stations. Clean nail salon. However, in the two times that I've been here, the services have always been hasty. I always feel like they're rushing through with minimal attention to detail so they can get me out the door and the next customer in. Jenny worked on cleaning up my toes today and she was rushing through and poked hard on my cuticles. I jumped a little at the pain, which she acknowledged, but continued to hastily continue my pedicure. She switched with Lina when it came knee to put on the nail color. She had another customer that she was working on earlier who needed her to finish up. So I can understand why she was rushing. I didn't mind the switch necessarily but what bothered me was how extremely sloppy Lina was. She didn't even bother trying to paint the color on smoothly. I mean, toes are pretty far away, but when I can see the lack of attention to line color up to the cuticle or completely cover the nail bed with the top coat, something is wrong. Overall, not a terrible place to go if you're just wanting a budget and speedy pedi and mani without appointment. I came in on a Monday noontime and had no trouble getting seated. Massage chairs are awesome. But if you're picky about the neatness of your pedi and mani, there's other salons in the area that will suit your needs. read more

I was nicely surprised that this place opened a little earlier then 9AM to help me with a last minute mani & pedicure. Harley did a wonderful job and I liked that the foot spa was lined with a new plastic liner for each customer and the tools used were also in a sealed package. The prices were reasonable to other nail salons in the area but I really was impressed with the extra care put into ensuring everything was sterile & clean which is obviously an extra cost for a business. Very bad service, the told me over the phone that they do silk nail and when I get there, they told they don't do that and I should do fake nails which I end up doing and it break since it was attached to my nail my actual nail got pulled out and only the skin left which was really painful. They don't know what they are doing and they use very cheap staff and charge a lot. I would not recommend anyone taking the risk and putting themselves in danger. They charge me $120 for mani and padi with the fake nails. Very bad service, the workers are very egressive. They hurt you and burn you and they laugh when you screen from pain. This review is long overdue! I love this place! I've been coming here the past 6 months or so for at least once or twice a month. It's small, quiet, clean, and all the manicurists are super sweet. It's nothing fancy, but always consistent. They use quality nail polish brands (my regular $10 manicure last 2 weeks, I haven't tried their gel but they do have it) and I'm always happy with the outcome. I just recently got my eyebrows done here and she did a really great job! I can't see myself going anywhere else! I'm surprised there aren't more reviews but most of their clientele based on every time I'm there are elderly women. I'm in my early 30's and I appreciate the calm and quietness here. read more

Was running around in Pasadena and passed by Nail Creation. Had a couple hours to kill and was in desperate need of a mani-pedi so decided to see if they could take a walk in. Luckily they weren't too busy and had me seated in the spa chair within 5 minutes. I'm not a fan of the massaging chairs (those things dog a little too deep for me) but I just turned off the massager and it was comfy enough. I got the gel mani-pedi with the deluxe package. Basically the package included the mani-pedi, callus removal and scrub for the feet and the hot wax treatment for the manicure. Overall they did a good job and the ladies were friendly! $68 (before tips) was a tad bit high for the quality and atmosphere but if I was in the area again id go back. read more

Definitely NOT worth the money nor time! Thank god I don't live in the area. I was in the Pasadena area for the day and was in dire need for a pedicure & manicure. I decided to give this place a shot despite their overall 3 star Yelp! I called in first to check if they were available and also check for price. I thought they were a bit pricey.. but gave still gave it a shot! The WORST decision I've ever made. I got a gel manicure and spa pedicure. Spending $48 for both. I HATE IT!! ABSOLUTELY HATE IT!! Yes, I loved the way my nails looked for the next 24hrs ONLY. After that it was all regret!! First of all the lady doing my pedicure, hurt me a few times and was rough with the tools as she was cutting m cuticles. Only scrubbed my feet w/the pumice for like 15 seconds...and just rubbed lotion on my feet & legs.. NO massage..not even for 20 seconds. The gel nail polish came off my finger nails within 3 days. It just literately peeled off. That's something you'd expect in about 10-12 days when it's time to go back..but not in 3 days! I wasn't planning on leaving a review..but I am still bothered and upset at how bad of a job/materials they do/use. For $48 I expect better service and maybe a few more days of the gel polish to last. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Spend your money else where. I guess it pays to really read the reviews and take the overall business review stars seriously. It's your money after all. From now on I will stick to my own nail salon and if I ever decide to get my nails done else where I will for sure pick a 5 star nail salon with great lasting reviews. read more

I liked the end result immediately following my acrylic manicure and pedicure but after a week the clear coat on my nails started peeling off, which made my nails looks dirty and gross. First time here and I had a pleasant experience. Came around 330pm on a Friday and didn't wait one single minute. Ladies were very attractive, I had gotten a mani/pedi on the spa chair and paid $30 which is very reasonable for also being in Pasadena. Location is very clean and they have a large selection of top brand nail polishes. They do except credit cards (master card, visa), however you can not add the tip to your credit card transaction (so bring a few bucks so that you may tip). Will definitely be coming back. read more

I love this place! I grew up in Pasadena and have gotten my nails done here for 7+ years. The staff is very friendly. Every time I come home to visit family I go get my nails done and they still remember me. Its cheap, less than $20 for a manicure and pedicure! Nothing fancy-you don't get to sit in a massage chair, but they do a good job painting your nails. I just left nail creation. I called right when they opened this morning and they were able to get me in right away for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I had a VERY nice experience. It was very clean, my service felt complete, as in I got a massage and they took their time, but I was still in and out in a bit under an hour. I paid six dollars extra for some exfoliation on my legs and feet. I don't know how well it exfoliated, but I would pay for it again for how good it felt. I paid $47 dollars total (without tip) which I think is extremely fair. My nails look great! I will update after a week or so to reflect how well they held up. I took off one star, because I didn't read the yelp reviews and saw they accepted credit cards so I figured I could tip on my card. Wrong. So I only had a five dollar bill and I don't think that is enough when two people work on you. I felt SO uncomfortable and cheap. I definitely want to come back, but I'm nervous because I don't what them to be like oh hey it is the crappy tipping lady! Also, the decor is a little dated, so you aren't getting a super spa like experience, but I think that is reflected in how good the prices are, plus it is VERY clean which is the most important thing. So I wrote a scathing review last time I came here but I gave them another chance because I needed my eyebrows done on short notice. They eyebrow lady is GREAT. Super nice and did a great job shaping my brows. She also did a polish change on my toes and seemed to do a really good job. I think the ladies here are just hit and miss and the eyebrow lady is great. I will return to have her do my eyebrows and my nails. read more
