This used to be a great salon when it was South Pasadena nail salon. They have changed management and changed the name yet the old reviews are still found here. I've tried them twice now and it's been a disappointment. It's not just the end result is disappointing, it's the rude customer service. Came here today to get a manicure and pedicure. Pedicure was good and the person took time to do a good job and kept checking on me. The manicurist took less than 10 minutes to do a shoddy job. When I asked her to do another coat as it was looking flimsy, she was extremely rude and refused to even consider. When you are in a service business, customer service should be as important as your end product. They need to train their manicurist to listen to the customer and not be rude. I have gone two times with a great experience, the owner did my GelX and I had no issues. My third time the owner wasn't there and the experience wasn't great. I got drilled on my cuticle on a rouge move. It hurt like hell. The lady was very apologetic but it hurt with every movement and I couldn't enjoy my treatment. read more

Took a chance on this spot based on some mixed reviews, and I'm happy to say my gel pedicure was excellent! I found the prices to be incredibly fair and they were able to take me right away. Tracy was attentive and did a great job with my exfoliating gel pedicure (which included a massage). I personally did not notice any sanitary issues or weird pricing! If I can give half stars I would, this place is more like 3.5. I have gone here several times. I keep coming back because of the ease of booking, friendly staff, and decent prices. When I get a solid color the nails usually come out well 8-9/10, but any design type the outcome is 6-7/10. Last design came out well(by Amy), but this time I tried a different design/nail tech and not too great. I think it has to do with the tools they have here, I believe it would have come out better with an air brush tool to help blend and finesse versus a sponge for ombre nails. I always ask if they can do the design first and if not, it's not a problem with me but they always tell me they can. Also, with designs they charge $10-$20 more. Terrible experience--dishonest pricing, unsanitary practices, and clear favoritism. Let's start with the pricing--because it makes absolutely no sense. The last three visits, I paid the exact same price for the same service, including a French tip. This time, the nail tech suddenly tried to charge me $20 more for the same thing I always get. When I asked why and spoke to the owner/manager, I ended up being charged an extra $35--just for questioning it. So now you get charged more just for speaking up? Then there's the way they treat customers. I couldn't help but notice that other customers with different backgrounds were getting full service--both manicure and pedicure at the same time, with plenty of attention. Meanwhile, I was left sitting there while the person doing my pedicure had to scramble and grab someone else to do my nails, even though four other employees were just sitting around on their phones. I was there for two hours, wasting time I didn't have. To make matters worse, the place is not sanitary. I actually saw a staff member putting their bare, dirty feet on the same tables and chairs used by customers. That's disgusting and a huge health risk. Between the dishonest pricing, unequal treatment, and lack of cleanliness, this was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. I won't be coming back--and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who expects to be treated with basic respect. read more

Like five times I came in there and I was told they are unable to take me or closing soon call back as I watched other walk in come in non African American and they were told to choose their color polish. The owner now does not say anything just the the Conner her husband i finally realized they no longer want to service me due to me being African American. Tammy/Trang (?) had the best attention to detail for my chewed up cuticles -- tons of skin for such little nails haha...cleaned up and conditioned! Nina was also great with the pedi; gentle but effective callus removal and great mini massage! Amy, who seemed like the manager maybe, was very personable.
