I went today to get a pedicure. When I went to pay, they said cash only. If you don't have cash we have an ATM. I asked if they took credit cards and she again said cash only. The ATM charged $2.70 for the transaction. I asked if they deducted that from my bill as they have credit card signs on their door saying they accept them. She said No. I asked why they say they take credit cards on the window by the door and she said we only take them when the atm is down. Man, these guys are getting money from us using the atm. It's rare that I write reviews and specifically I have never written a 1 star review in my life, however the unprofessionalism of this salon and even more particularly the salon owner needs to be exposed. I'll start by saying that I am a paying customer who is always kind, polite, and courteous and faithfully tips my services providers 20%. That being said, when paying for an expensive service, as the customer you are within your right to ask for something to be fixed or changed to your liking without backlash - if the service provider is reasonable and able to receive constructive feedback. It all started with a clear miscommunication with my nail tech (Cindy) who i had been seeing for several months. I requested the color "funny bunny" gel polish to be painted over my nude color powder. She misunderstood me and took the power down to the bottom and was getting ready to replace it with white powder. I asked her what she was doing and reminded her I just got a new full set the last appointment. She proceeded to tell me she would charge me for a full set even though she misunderstood my request. Since this occurrence, she has refused to do my nails again and told me to use someone else next time. I still tipped her 10% despite my disbelief and disappointment. I didn't cause a scene and left with gratitude. At my next appointment, just 2 days before my birthday, I walked in for my scheduled appt with a new nail tech who my friend recommended (Cathy). Upon my surprise Cathy refused to do my nails despite me never being serviced by her before just because of what happened with Cindy. My assumption is Cindy told the whole salon not to work with me. Susan, the receptionist and only kind and reasonable person in that salon, asked around and finally got Michelle to agree to do my nails. Michelle is not as fast or skilled as some of the other nail techs in the salon. She is very nice and patient but I am a perfectionist and her skill set didn't match with my standards. I was pleased with her work however it took her entirely too long to complete the service. A week after I got my last set with her Susan called me to inform me that Michelle wouldn't be able to do my nails anymore because it takes her too long to complete. I honestly don't blame her, she is still developing her skills. Just today I called to try and schedule with Brian, another nail tech who came recommended. Brian also refused to do my nails. Again, despite me always saying hello to him, complementing his work, but never having used him in the past. It's now obvious I've been black balled. I am baffled by the unprofessionalism of the salon. Not to mention the salon owner fails to restock popular colors and I've been forced to pay for 2 new full sets now just because the color I always use was out of stock and I didn't want my fill to be 2 toned. When I contacted her to discuss and see if there could be a credit applied for her inability to keep supplies stocked, she did not work with me at all and blocked me from her Instagram. Its unfortunate they would risk losing a respectful and loyal customer who always tips 20% for their pride and ego. It's no wonder this salon only has a 3 star review. read more

She took her time laying the acrylic and shaping, and made sure the flowers were how I wanted them :') the skin near my fingers are sensitive from me being an anxious picker and she made sure to be super gentle!!! I'm very disappointed in the poor quality and customer service I experienced at this place. I got a mani & pedi. Requested a French manicure ( it costs extra ) The nail polish started chipping by next day. I went and showed the front desk attendant and she agreed that it was bad and told me in order to make it last I needed a "gel manicure" I responded I don't get "gel manicures" I've had regular French manicures before and they normally last longer, at least a week. When you wait, they won't even give you a wait time so if there's 10 people on the list ahead of you, it can take HOURS! List last visit was the last straw. Lia is terrible! She did the worst job on my black French tip. Had the nerve to tell me that I messed up my nail like she didn't push my fingers together causing the mess up. I would not recommend this nail salon! I was quoted $25 for a nail color, for them to just paint my nails nothing else. I can only image how much It would have been for a full set. I was already turned off by the dirty floors and dirty towels I saw laying around. They do a great job at manicure and pedicures and everyone is so friendly. Because of the great first experience I had I decided to come back to get my eyebrows waxed. I typically switch between threading and waxing. Unfortunately I left with my upper eyelid area a little more painful than usual. The next day it was clear that I had been burned. This has never happened to me before and i have been getting my eyebrows waxed since i was 14. As someone who is used to getting their face waxed/threaded, it left me skeptical to go back. I am absolutely disgusted. First, I had gotten a fill on my set about two weeks ago. Today the tip of the acrylic (not my actual nail) came off. I called around 12 pm and asked if I could make an appointment (this must be noted that the person who answered was NOT Susan.) She promptly told me I can't make an appointment to replace it because they don't do that and I would need to be a walk in which times are at 6pm. Went here because the salon I usually go to was at a 20-25 minute wait. Called to ask if they can take in 2 pedicures and how long it would take and the lady who was on the phone with me said come right now!! Wanted to give a try even though it has a 3 star rating but now I understood why! Went in with my friend and we both wanted pedicures and manicures with just regular polish.. we stated that about 12 times because they kept saying that gel is better, I get it is but the only reason we went was to get rid of our acrylics and gel to get a break! Which they had an issue with us wanting regular polish painting our nails carelessly and at this point yes; I rather paint my own nails. Second reason is that my friend chose their most expensive pedicure and I chose the mid service one; they rushed both out pedicures and somehow her expensive one ended faster than mine did she was done waiting for me about 10 mins before my services ended. Third it's only cash, which back in the day it would not matter but it's about to be 2022 and they still don't have online payments? Let alone just a simple card payment? For my second visit i got a fill with Brian and they came out SO NICELY. Now for my third visit..... I came to Brian to get a new full set. It started off good, i came a hour early to my 1pm appointment to begin soaking off my previous set. I actually had booked 2pm with him also for a friend but she was unable to come so even though he started about 25 mins late it was fine. As soon as he began the shaping felt off. My first fill with him came out naturally thin and rounded but this fill began to look very thick. The acrylic made my nails burn which was odd because my last set with him didn't. I showed him the color i wanted, a pastel blue and he grabs a random baby blue off someone else's station. When i asked if he could make it sparkly or add glitter like the picture i showed him he goes "just go wash your hands"..ok....lmao As soon as he started painting it got worse. He keeps looking at the clock and the other clients inside and i can tell he's rushing. It's 2:20pm and he started at 1:30pm. His strokes are streaky and he only does one coat of the blue then rushes on some of the glitter coat with a streaky top coat. The finished product is slightly bulky, rough, rugged feeling streaky nails. The thing is that he started my 1pm late finishing up and taking pictures of the persons nails before me and then taking a snack break. I don't enjoy being rushed especially for someone who didn't even have an appointment. The techs should give themselves a hour and a half to two hours for full sets and a hour for fills. My pedicure came out perfectly, I'm not sure who did it but they took their time and was very attentive. The main reason i keep coming back is because i don't trust a lot of other nail salons and they obviously do nice work but for a $70 pedi/full set i expect to be given the time required to make my nails look nice and i can tell even he didn't seem to think they looked nice either based off him not wanting to take pictures. They look ok because they're a basic design. He took his time last time when i made an appointment, I'm not sure what was different today. I would recommend coming during the week when things aren't so busy because it's more likely the techs will be more attentive and the salon won't be as hectic.
