To whom this may concern, This place is definitely on my avoid list. Nail Max receives two stars for the simple fact, our appointment times were on time. Cleanliness is nowhere near the high end side. Oh and the massage stairs didnt work on either of the seats we were sat at. My money spends the same as anyone else spending money in their establishment. So if you want to waste your hard earned money and regret stopping by. Read further. My technician seemed to be in a rush to go nowhere. She was beyond rushed, impatient, annoyed and not even close to the gentle side. My previous pedicure was done in black nail polish. Which I had taken off previous to going to this location. The black was still on a tad bit. As she started the pedicure. There was no removal of the remaining polish that I couldn't get off. She was very pushing moving my feet in and out of the soaking area. This was a very half culo pedicure. This was equivalent to my no experience at home trying to get by attempt of a pedicure. Not to mention one of the fastest pedicures I have ever received. Manicure time! Yes you guessed it. Horrible and again one of the worst manicures I have ever received. Rushed impatient and pushy again. Asked for my nails to be trimmed down. As the manicure was "complete". I had to go back and ask her to complete what I originally asked for. Only clear polish was put on. Which was over applied and running across my nail beds. Finger nails were cut un even and jagged. Cuticles were not cleaned up. Horrible came in to get a pedicure was a little pricey 31 dollars but supposed to be a step up from the regular pedicure to get callus. When I tell you the skin was still on my feet you can clearly see in the photo. When I requested her to get the skin off I was told to do it myself. When I asked for my toe nails to be clipped correctly the worker cursed at me in front of my kids while the manger said nothing until I got up and requested to pay half price for my pedicure due to the half job the manager then placed her hands on me (I'm just as shocked as you are) and cornered me in to have me stay until another employee interjected and said to let me leave. I had been coming here over the years. This time they had someone new Heather. Was going to do gel nails knew they cost more, then every polish was a higher upcharge after that. And the gel polish was going to be plus nails, 65$ and when Heather put on the nails, they are not straight, lumpy, very lumpy after the acrylic. I went to say something and then she stopped and said let's go do your pedicure we come back to your nails later. Ok, so pedicure.....at this point I am trying so hard to be nice, but the tension is me is rising fast, and when I get mad I cry. So I chose the mid tier pedicure. 31$. She barely touched me I didn't have crusty feet or anything duckie, just wanted to have pretty toes to go on vacation with.took off the polish, and usually the girls get right in there on the toes and get every little piece of skin, lint what have you out and massage and scrape your feets. To tell the truth, I felt dirty. It was plain tepid water, the chair barely worked to try to take my mind off crying, and then when she was done told me to go to the front of the store and choose a color. All of them were old, and half used, or dried up, and nothing anyone would ever wear. I chose the orange and some semi orange glitter polish. Since it wasn't gel, it would now be 5$ higher for finger and toes to match so 5$ more for toes whatever. So as soon as she pai ts them ushers me over to the nail area to finish the nails. I asked for them shorter. And now none of my nails are sisters, and none match in length or squareness. And some are flat on top, some are lumpy. MY SISTER came to save me. Since at that point, I could barely whisper. She tried to talk me through the ordeal and she saw my feet, and told them, they look dry and not soft on the heel and toe, and the polish looked bad since a whole pedicure was not even done right. The lady then asked me if I wanted to pay now, I politely said when Iam done please. And then, back to the feet station. And when she was lotioning my feet to redo, she was saying if I go hard I will hurt you, but could barely feel her touch me at all. And when she was doing the scraping, she hit my big toe which was not dry and messed up the polish and didn't notice, she left to go help someone else without a word. I didn't tell her about the polish. Just went to pay. Told my sister in pig Latin, i just want to get outta here please. And i went to pay with my card i said how much do i owe you? This other lady says $80!!!!!!! WTF chuck oh hell no!!! I said excuse me ,but break down what exactly iam paying for.... I told her it is $25 for the nails and $5 extra for the polish, and pedicure was $31, and $5 for the polish. That is Nowhere near $80 bucks!!!! And the guy already ran my card. My sister corrected him then the lady Heather tells $65. And he went to run my debit card again!!!! My sister and I freaked cause debit cards charge 2x and wait almost 5-7 days to give back any refund. So then under duress he gave us back 3 $5 Bill's, thinking it would be a tip or something???? Never in my life had I had a bad experience there, but this girl Heather was the rotten egg that ruined it totally!! And I always tip, And tip very generous to boot! But today, for all the hell I went through to leave utterly disappointed and feeling horrible and looking hideous with ugly fingers and toes,I couldnt utter a word to her, and I Didn't leave her any kind of tip!! So if I see this altered on my debit card later, someone is going to go bananas. Trust. I will Never go back, Never suggest this place. I cant even rate it 1 star. It is negative. This was my first time ever going to get acrylics done at a salon. Before, I would have my friend do my nails for me and they'd come out smooth and perfect so I figured going to the salon would make them turn out even better since they have more experience. I was seriously bothered by how the lady doing my nails treated me, she wouldn't talk to me, and it seemed like she was bothered. I showed her the picture that I wanted, and she agreed to understand how I wanted it. I wasn't being pushy or bossy until I asked if she was going to do it like the picture I had shown her which had a gradient effect. She then sounded very bothered and told me that I had told her something else. Angrily, but not showing it, I told him to just keep doing my nails how she was. She had left to the bathroom in the middle of my session, and I don't believe she washed her hands......um...yikes. The nails looked NOTHING like the picture I had shown her, and they weren't round, which is the shape I was going for. She was definitely in a rush. After a while, another worker there came, and was very nice. He offered me water, and made me feel better, but that did not change my opinion on this place. Immediately greeted as you come in. My friend and I went to see if we can get pedicures without an appointment we asked and were told yes to pick out a color. We assumed that meant sometime soon they didn't say there was a wait so we picked colors and a lady told us to come start soaking we did for about 20 minutes then one lady finished and i told her she can start on my friend because she was getting hands and feet done versus i was only getting a pedicure. So she did my friends pedicure half way finished her manicure then finally someone came to me by then even the water was cold. The pedicure it self was good but she upgraded me to a deluxe type pedicure without asking me after i had specifically said a regular pedicure ,the other people on my surroundings were getting the same things i was so i just guessed this is what there pedicure are ,until i went to pay and i told her i had asked for a normal pedicure and she got upset and just said i did the deluxe i didn't want to argue so i payed the extra. Its ridiculous I waited an hour soaking and then got upgraded without them asking. I understand it gets busy and without appointments it's expected to maybe wait but I'd rather them tell me and not have me soaking for an hour . NEVER AGAIN ! read more

New Management .... OMG awful. First off. The worst pedicure ever. I paid extra for the super buffing, scrubbing, moisturizing bit. I was barely given a massage and the bottoms of my feet are... not even in texture. So bad. Barely any massage. And the paint on my toes... it doesn't cover the whole nail. So bad. I wasn't paying attention. So mad. Then the manicure. I wanted regular polish. The man who did my manicure questioned my choice for too long. I get trying to go for the upsell, but honestly I shouldn't have to explain myself for as long as I was expected to. Finally I had to just say to his repetitive "but why" with a "because they are my nails and that's what I want on them." I know that gel can last long but I chip them anyway, and I can repair regular polish far more easily... plus the constant scrapping of the nail bed is really unhealthy when the gel is taken off. It was really judgmental. Then, perhaps to teach me a lesson... He gave me an awful paint job. He gooped it on. It was way too thick. I said something, but he ignored me. I knew that polish gooped on that thick would chip instantly, and it did. When he moved me to the lights to dry (no fan by the way) he wouldn't listen when I said I would grab my phone, grabbing instead which led to the earphones coming out. It was all very uncomfortable. This was not a language issue. This was a terrible customer service issue. This was a person who did not like me not blanketly listening to me. Putting the earphones back in with wet nails was far more difficult than picking up a simple phone. I just sort of sat there, wanting my nails to dry as quickly as possible, knowing they would take so much longer due to the goop, annoyed at my treatment and quality for what I just paid... And then, after 23 minutes, the guy comes back and tests my nails. He said I was good, and handed me my boots. HE left a finger print in my still wet nail. But he said it was fine. So ridiculous. Thank heavens I have keyless entry to my car. I had to sit in the parking lot using my fan for a good hour. Oh, and the pedicure guy never pulled down my pants so I had jeans rolled up over my calves and I couldn't pull them down so I was physically uncomfortable too. Seriously terrible. I live right there. I would have been happy to have made this my new spot. But no way. Save yourself. Oh and I had to go to another pot the very next day to fix the manicure. This use to be a great place until someone took over the business a few months ago! I was nice and tried out the new staff (big mistake) it took 3 different people to get my pedicure, French tip and flower done, and even then it wasn't done nicely. I ended up being there 2 hours just to leave so frustrated and disappointed..my cousin went after I did and the same exact thing happened to her..it's too bad because alot of my family were regulars there for many years and now we are definitly going to find a new place..We miss you Vivian!! read more

I love this place. They have a large assortment of colored tips and if I can't get in for a fill my nails last over 4 weeks without breaking or chipping. Long does my nails so well that I will not go any where else. His wife Hannah has given my granddaughter several great manicures so now every time she comes to visit me she asks me to take her in for a mani. Got lashes done heres for the first time and she didn't give me any steps to manage them nor mention the pain in your eyes and irritation it causes overtime whatever glue they use rips off all your natural lashes so after first time trying lashes there they ruined my eyes if I knew they were doing this to my lashes I would of never got them done here. She never gave a warning of the effects of it after I said it was my first time ill never get them done ever again after getting them done here. Smh. read more

So I went and got my nails done yesterday (just a fill) and once I walked in I was told to pick a color, I did and sat down. I waited about 10 mins is all, so not too bad. I was called back by a nail tech, I said it was my first time, she said "welcome" and that's about the extent of our conversation, other than her telling me I had sweaty hands. (I was nervous) She was rough and very unfriendly. My nails are different lengths and one was filled too much on one side and looks crooked.. I am highly disappointed because the reviews weren't half bad.. Well. this is what I get for being lazy and not wanting to drive to see my normal nail tech.. This was my first and now last visit here. I walked in, mentioned I had pink & whites but only needed a pink fill. The lady told me "ok, no problem. have a seat." One girl worked on my nails by sanding them first, then switched me to the guy. He was so rude! He got mad when I told him I just wanted the pink fill. "You said pink and white fill" I said "no, i said I had pink and white, i just need pink." He started talking to the other women in whatever language and then proceeded to work on my nails, redoing both the pink and white parts. I couldn't leave since he already started. He was then mad I wanted the medium pink and not the light pink acrylic. When he would finish with a hand he would push it away. At the end he told me "next time its $38. Today it's $18. be more clearer next time" Ummm you know what dude, there won't be a next time. I shouldn't have given him a tip but he was staring over me when I filled out the receipt I felt like I had to put something down. This place is fabulous! They do amazing EYE LASH EXTENSIONS, ladies try them out. They also have so many designs I cannot count them all. Everyone is also very friendly and nice.
