I was unhappy previously with my nails and decided today to try a new place. I was greeted by the super sweet & friendly Jenny who stayed late today to work on my hands and feet with her mom too. Not only was I incredibly impressed with the entire studio- from brand new pedi chairs and nail stations to the cleanliness-but also the attention to detail and precision both jenny and her mom had to making sure I was happy with my finished product! I would give a 0 rating if possible. Had full acrylic set done, 1 day after, now lifting, nail tips don't fit nails, you can see where my nail is and slightly over where the acrylic was put, jagged edges, crooked and curved upwards instead of down as a natural nail is. I would Never recommend this nail salon. Don't waste your money. read more

This place is awesome. I called on a Monday am to schedule a mani for my tween daughter and a pedi for me an hour later. Cindy gave me a meticulous pedicure that removed all the dry skin from my feet. My daughter and I both felt pampered and really enjoyed the massage chairs. I want to say this is my go-to spot when I'm in the area and would recommend anyone wanting a top notch pedicure at a very reasonable price to come to Nail Studio. Two premier pedis for $120, including gel (and removal of my old gel polish) was $120. And they took their time!!! Searched on YELP and found this spot with very nice reviews - made an appointment for my daughter and me for pedis at 9:15 am on a Saturday - we are from out of town but come to the Palm Springs area 3-4 times a year and haven't found a nail salon that really hit the mark so I was trepidatious to say the least but thought we'd give it a try. We overslept and were 10 minutes late; I did call before our time to let them know -and was graciously told no problem, thank you for letting us know. When we arrived we were greeted pleasantly and taken to our stations. Very clean, very attractive and modern interior. Tina did my pedi - my daughter didn't ask - but we both thought these were amongst the best we've had! We did get the second highest level - the hit rocks pedi - and gel polish - Tina was so careful and did such an amazing job!! I felt so pampered and loved it - both ladies made sure we were well taken care of and we felt like queens for the day. Definitely a jewel in the desert of La Quinta! read more

My friend and I are both black young women and we made appointments to get our nails done for a self care day. After being there for an hour and a half getting a pedicure and waiting , the staff asked my friend to wait an hour longer before getting her nails done even though we had appointments. The staff were busy prioritizing the needs of other whiter and lighter clients. There was a man working who refused to do my friend's nails at all even though he wasn't busy with anyone. We spent a total of 4 full hours for a full set and a standard pedi even after making an appointment. Additionally (less importantly) they threw in an extra charge for the "length" of my nails even though they are clearly short. They removed the cuticles with the grinding machine which burned me a couple of times. They also didn't give me slippers and asked me to walk from my pedicure to the manicure station barefoot. All in all, it felt tied to discrimination and the self care day became stressful. read more
