This salon is very clean, the manicurists are lovely. I appreciated the care taken on my nails; they look great so far (only day 1). The only reason I am leaving 3 stars is because a gel manicure cost me $52 + $1 for card + tip this evening. I am shocked at the price considering I chose a stock color and received no extras. My usual place is not as fancy but a regular gel manicure without art or special treatments is $30 before tip. I recently got a gel manicure and regular pedicure for $55 total (+tip) at my usual. Although I appreciated the service, I'm not sure I can keep up the 45 minute service at that price. read more

I would have been nice to have had additional add-ons available (like callous removal, scrub, etc) but this may have been an option you can ask for. It was my first time at this nail salon because my go to was fully booked. If you get your nails done somewhere and have a specific place, you'd know that it's kind of scary going to a new place. Thankfully, I had such a wonderful experience here. Not only was the services done inside (which is rare considering covid), but they took me in right upon my arrival. Both ladies doing my toes and gel x had so much attention to detail. My cuticles are a little sensitive and usually bleed, but didn't when they cleaned my nails up. I was really happy with how my nail shape turned out on my toes and even though the gel x took longer than it usually would at my go to spot, I love the shape as well! I would've never gotten almond shaped nails, but the lady suggested it. Love love love it! Definitely recommend coming here. I would definitely call prior to coming here! I'm giving this place 2 stars only because the the gel manicure was executed well. The polish coat is even, without chips, and nails were shaped how I wanted. Now onto the bad. I called the day before and asked if there were any openings on Saturday for a gel manicure, I specially wanted an appointment because I hate waiting forever to be seated. The woman who answered the phone told me I can schedule an appointment at 1 pm. I got there at 12:50 and was not actually seated in a chair until 1:25. I already had gel polish on my nails so she had to take off the polish (should be a pretty simple quick task). Well, the nail tech had my finger soak in foil for 15 straight minutes and completely walked away from my table to start working on another customer. I was just sitting there waiting for her to come back. Next, the way they scrape your nails to remove polish is very abrasive to your nails. They use the triangle portion of a metal tool to literally scrape your nails. This might not bother some people but the whole reason I get gel manicures is so that my actual nail isn't filed down too far or harmed like with acrylics or gelx. Usually when you're finished getting your nails cured, the nail tech will use lotion and massage your hand right? Well not at this place. The nail tech put the SMALLEST amount of lotion possible on her fingers (less than a dime worth for BOTH of my hands). She only massaged them for maybe 30 seconds also. After all is said and done I was there for an 1:45 minutes for a simple gel manicure. This is outrageous considering most customers were out faster than me getting actual acrylic nails. Another negative is that they charged me $50 for a gel manicure? The service is NOT worth the price here. I would not go back or recommend this place. read more

I was coming here for a few months, I would drive all the way from the arts district to here because I got such great quality nails, great service, and the salon is clean. Their color selection is vast, especially for nudes/neutrals, which I really appreciate, their nail techs all speak perfect English and give good advice on colors, nail care, etc. I have one nail that keeps splitting vertically for some reason and every time they would take the time to glue it and apply dip or an acrylic tip to protect it so it can grow, I really appreciate that. You MUST make an appointment because they are always busy, even at 10am on a Monday morning. The downside is I was always there for about 2 hours even with an appointment because they never have enough free techs to do my hands and feet at the same time. Stay away from this place if what you want and need is to have a relaxing experience and great customer service. They get the job done and have pretty good ladies working there. This place is right for you if you want an average pedi in less than 30 mins. When they first opened they would offer drinks and the place was very clean but that didn't last more than a couple of months. From the owners, one never ever greets you with a smile and the other one does if she's in a good mood. To the "technicians" they don't take more than 25 minutes with you during your pedi and even if you're a regular they still treat you like you're asking for a favor and not like you're paying for a service. Even after years of being a loyal customer they treat you in the most unprofessional way. Scheduling an appointment is like pulling teeth and once you're there you can't relax and even less have an enjoyable experience. After a long time going there and many unsatisfactory experiences I decided to take my business to another local nail place with excellent customer service and now regret going there for so many years. read more

I got a gel mani/pedi & within a week i had one broken nail and the gel was peeling off several of my nails. I went back in to get it fixed & was told it was because I have weak nails and wasn't the gel...they fixed one of my nails but it was the wrong color and the girl starts talking shit in front of me and throws a fit when I tell her that color is different than the one on my nails. I went back in a week later when a bunch of my nails peeled off and the owner told me it would be over a week till she could see me. They also up charge an insane amount for $20 for certain polishes which is wild. Will never go back there I felt terrible after and had to go somewhere else to get them fixed read more

the worst experience I have ever had getting any service. got a manicure and a simple pedicure (no color) with a callus remover add on. the callus "mask" gave me a terrible burn right on the spot, where literal holes started to form on my ankle where they wrapped the nylon around my foot, they removed it and put Neosporin and said I must have had a scratch there, which I did NOT have. I was charged the full service amount which honestly was the most I had ever paid for a mani/pedi, over $100 including tip which I was an idiot for leaving them. I now called them after days of walking with a swollen foot and a major scab to ask for a refund, and was hung up on. super rude, dangerous, unprofessional, and overpriced nail salon. they should be reported and shut down. read more
