I came in for a Gel-X manicure along with my mother, who was getting a gel manicure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had our appointment scheduled for 12, and the staff was incredibly kind and patient throughout the booking process. They didn't mind me asking over a hundred questions, and they were happy to accommodate my mother joining in around the same time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once we arrived, the experience was fantastic. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff were gentle, caring, and very friendly. The person who did my Gel-X manicure was especially sweet. She kept checking in on me throughout the process to make sure I was comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The entire session took about 1 to 2 hours. My mother had her manicure first, then went ahead and got a pedicure afterward. The pricing was surprisingly affordable, especially considering we were two people. It came out to about what many places would charge for just one person. I've included a picture of our nails, mine are the green ones, and my mom's are the red. Overall, I definitely recommend Nailed It Spa.
I just moved to the Valley so I was looking for a new nail salon when I stumbled upon Nailed It Spa. Trusted good reviews and made an appt, I am so happy with the quality of work, my nails are so perfect. John did a great job. I'm definitely going to be back! I went with powder dip nails and regular pedicure.
My first visit. I scheduled an appt as this place was well reviewed and now I know why. I absolutely adored Ann! She gave me a gel manicure and pedicure that exceeded my expectations. Ann was patient and funny and a blast to collaborate these designs with. I highly recommend a service with her. She's the best!!! This awkward hand pose was to show off all the details of my nails. Haha.
First thing they have you do is wash your hands before you start at their touchless sink. I thought this was a great method to reduce high touch areas. They implemented social distancing by skipping every other nail station to allow space. All the employees wore masks and required everyone to have masks on. They are following COVID precautions, which made me comfortable and safe since I haven't gotten a manicure since beginning of last year before the pandemic. I got a gel manicure and it felt great to do that again. She made it into the shape I wanted with the picture I showed her. I thought she was done with adding more nail polish layers but she added one layer too many (than what other nail technicians at other salons have done in the past). It's a little too thick for my liking and it made a few of my nails uneven because one side would be thicker than the other. If she stopped at one less layer of gel nail polish, it would've been just right. They still turned out pretty cute
I needed a fill for my Gel nails and so I looked up on yelp and this one was close and seemed good. I walked in, they took me in asap. The lady was very nice verbally, but a little aggressive with my hands. When she was using the nail drill to file down my previous gel, she kept going really close to the skin. I even told said Ow and flinched a few different times and she said "sorry" and continued doing it. Now my cuticles are all sensitive and one has a minor cut. When it came time for my fill, she did even more filing. You can still see the difference of my original gel set vs where the fill is. The color used at the base was a really sheer white. I didn't really want that but more of a pink but she said it was too sheer and it would be showing my real nail underneath too much, so she did white instead but you can still see my real nail so it didn't really matter. She was pretty aggressive with my hands and i think that was the hardest part. She was nice which is why i gave it 3 instead of 2. i was a bit disappointed overall, especially because it's so close to my house :(
This place is just amazing. I've been to so many nail places in LA and the valley and nobody does it like Nailed It. I am never disappointed with any of the services or nail techs I get. John is so gentle when applying acrylics and never cuts or hurts me, and I have fragile nail beds. John always takes his time to carefully craft each nail. He is consistent and focuses on making his customers happy. I've been coming for a little over a year now and I'll keep coming back until I move away from the area! Cannot recommend this place more. They deserve your business if you're wondering which nail salon to go to!

An OK manicure. I was a few minutes late to my appointment so I appreciate them still taking me in, but the lady doing my manicure seemed in a hurry. There was no one waiting, I wasn't extremely late for my appointment, and the shop didn't close for another 2 hours. She ended up cutting me while removing the cuticles around my thumb. She also used her nails to clean up the polish around my own nails which actually hurt because she was digging her long nails into the sides of my fingers. $25 gel manicure. The shape of my nails was uneven . Probably wouldn't return again as my 1st experience here wasn't great. The outcome of the polish itself was ok but I've definitely had better manicures. read more

Was excited to try this new place cause I've been looking for a new nail spot near me. When I walked (I'm assuming he was the owner) was very rude. He was on his phone and didn't even look up once. The lady who did my pedicure was very nice and did a good job. I went in for a new set and she did a great job removing my old gel nails. However when I asked if she can do an ombré nail design she said no. So I asked her if she had colors similar to nails I've seen online and she just looked at me with a blank stare. Finally I just asked her for a marble design and at first she hesitated but said yes. However failed to make it look marble.First off they don't match similar design and you can tell she was getting impatient while doing it. Not sure if I'll be returning. read more

I got my nails done here for the first time and it was a pleasant experience. I had a appointment at 5:30, was seen at 6. That's pretty typical for me when I make appointments at nail salons. Not a big deal since I was expecting it. I got my nails done by the owners wife. I didn't get her name, but she's really sweet and nice. When I asked her to do a nail design I appreciated how she was straight up and said she couldn't do it. So we ended up with a simpler design that she was able to do. I am happy with the way it came out. She also speaks fluent English which I appreciate as well! She has a funny sense of humor lol. read more

Nailed It Spa is the best place to get your nails done in the Valley hands down! All of their employees are very sweet, kind and friendly! They are all extremely patient, listen to you when explaining what you want, along with following through on making that happen! They are all so detail oriented and always do an exceptional job. When I first moved to the Valley, I had gone to 4 other nail salons prior to discovering Nailed It Spa. Once I started going to this salon it finally felt like I can stop my search. Since I started going here I always walk out with nails that are perfectly shaped and painted, and overall beautiful. This is the best place I have ever gotten my nails done. Their prices are amazing considering you'll get perfect nails every time. I would 100% recommend to anyone. Everyone should be going here! The photos below are my nails I got done today by the owner John for my baby shower this weekend :) He stayed late to service me today and that meant so much to me! After going to two other nail places that reported to be open and were not, I landed here. The staff was very friendly, and they were able to take me as a walk in almost right away. The technician I got was very nice and did a good job on my toes. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it had a very chemical smell when I came in. I have been to nail salons before and know there is always some kind of odor, but the size of this salon and the poor circulation made it way more noticeable than it should have been. They did finally open the door, which helped significantly. read more

I went in and it took a while for me to get started the were busy I suggest an appointment plus it was the day before Mother's Day! When they did get to me they did great with my nails and feet! The prices are extremely reasonable and affordable compared to other nail shops I have been to. Only downside is that you nails and feet have to be done separately not all at once. Other than that I recommend going there if you want a good price and a well executed nails and feet. read more

I went to this salon for the first time and had a great experience. Made an appointment and was seated on time. Kim did my gel pedicure and a full set with gel. I wanted my nails shaped like sharp almonds, and she executed that shape quickly while remaining delicate with my cuticles. I would definitely go back to this salon for acrylics! My new go to!! I recently moved to the area and I've been driving an HOUR to keep getting my nails done by my favorite place because I was so nervous to have someone else do my nails. I decided to come to Nailed It Spa since they were only a few blocks away and decided it was time to give a new salon a try. Well I am sorry I didn't come here sooner! The nail tech listened to EXACTLY what I wanted and how I normally get my sails done and she did just that!! One of the worst parts of moving is finding a new hair person and nail person and let me just tell you that after a search of the Van Nuys/Studio City area, I stumbled upon this little hole in the wall strip mall nail bar and haven't looked back. John is top-notch, super patient, and a perfectionist. Definitely recommend him for any of your manicure needs. read more
It was pretty easy to get a same day appointment and they'll take you even if it's almost closing time, so that's always a plus. The lady who did my hand did a pretty good job. Clean and meticulous, and she's friendly too. She asked me what I want, shape, length, etc. For my pedicure, it's this new girl, who barely spoke a word to me (not a language barrier since she would speak with the other staff in perfect English). She would just push my foot to signal that I need to soak, or tap if she wants me to move, etc. in the end, she did a good job painting my nails but I do wish she was more courteous in communicating with customers. Their chairs are a bit uncomfortable, especially 2nd to the last one since it doesn't lean back. The salon is pretty small, so the reclining chairs can't really recline much since there's no space. Prices are pretty decent and it's so easy that they let you tip with your card. Overall, I will go back and will maybe more specific on who I want to do my nails. read more

My first time here and I'm in love! John is amazing! I got a pink and white full set and they look so natural. I've been to several nail salons and John was definitely the best tech I've ever had, he made sure all my nails were perfect and he made sure that I was satisfied with how they turned out! 10/10 would recommend! read more

One of my guy friends and I wanted to get our nails done so we found this place through Yelp. I wanted gel while he wanted regular black polish (with some nails matte). Our nail tech was very sweet and professional. She didn't discriminate my friend wanting to get his nails done. And whenever I get my nails done, I have to explain that I have eczema on some of my fingers and they tend to bleed whenever nail techs are too rough, but she was very gentle. I had this vision of getting somewhat clear & sparkly purple-ish nails, and they really made that happen! I also wanted some sort of design on my middle finger. She asked me if lines were okay, and I just said yes not knowing or caring too much about what I was going to get. I just wanted something different, but I was actually really surprised she freehanded these beautiful lines. Overall pretty great experience. I recommend getting an appointment, but they do take walk-ins. Just expect to wait a bit if you decide to walk in instead though. read more

I would like to acknowledge Michelle for doing an exceptional job on my mani/pedi on Friday 8/6/21. She was pleasant to engage with as well as professional, kind, knowledgeable and quick with her trade. She did an elegant job on my French tip pedi, checking with me on certain things, before proceeding. My gel mani was the perfect shape (square-oval) and listened to my concerns of keeping the polish at 2 coats. She kept chatter to a minimum, more-so concentrating on her art. Recently moved to Winnetka and after trying a nail salon in Balboa i was so discourage that i really though i was not gonna be able to find a great place that i love in the Valley. Little that i know i found Nailed It Spa and im very happy with their services, the owners are very nice and great at what they do. I found my new nail salon!! I have been on a hunt for a great nail salon with nice & gentle techs & I FOUND IT! Michelle was the one who did my mani and pedi and she was so perfect! She was efficient, gentle & very nice! I scheduled my appointment through yelp & John was the one who set me up & he was very nice as well! The overall experience was so relaxing and easy! They are very sanitary & have you wash your hands right when you come in. Their sinks were touch less and that was an added bonus! Definitely coming back! read more
