I love this salon. They are so friendly, talented and loving in their approach to their customers. I have been coming here for pedicures and manicures for a few years but stopped during the COVID situation and recently have been back several times since October of 2023. We always get treated professionally and are offered something to drink and during the Viet Ñam new year, was offered a few treats. We usually do the top service pedis and I get my nails done by Fong. She and her family and staff have done amazing things with this salon since they took it over. This is probably the first nail salon I have been to where I actually am comfortable enough to have conversations with my techs and the staff and they genuinely care. I have to say, I see the way some customers come in with totally rude attitudes toward the staff and watching them stay gracious and professional the way they do should make them saints. People are so rude these days and I don't get the hateful and condescending treatment to the people you came to in hopes of having you walk out Looking and feeling better than how you walked in. I highly recommend the salon and highly recommend that if you are a walk in that you exercise some patience and decorum. Quality takes time and if you are looking for a hasty quick experience this ain't the place. They treat each customer as a VIP and take their time to do things right. I'm not sure what is going on at this location recently however, the service has gone way downhill. I wouldn't usually make a bad review, but yesterday we called and set an appointment for 5 of us to get nails and pedicures done. First of all.. they have ants around the pedicure bowls/chairs that were crawling on our skin!! Major yuck! Second, I had a specific color I wanted, I found the color amongst the choices offered. The technician went to get the color, however the color to number was not what I chose, and technician was absolutely not bothered at all to help find this color option that they offer. So I had to SETTLE for something that I wasn't happy with! I will be changing the color now myself after being charged full price, I might add. Out of 5 of us, 1 got what she asked for and was somewhat happy. 4 of us are basically making due, even though we were charged full price, no POOR SERVICE/QUALITY discount offered. My aunt paid for all of us, 5 pedicures all upcharged for add on choices, 2 manicures with extras added as upcharges, 2 brand new full sets both upcharged for add ons and 1 fill/repair also charged more for a French manicure (because they couldn't find the color I actually wanted and settled for this option)... so you can see that was a pretty large tab to pay out for such a bad experience. We all took turns shuffling between technicians because certain technicians were not able to do certain things required to do their job, (untrained and at least 1 not licensed). Vibes were also not great amongst technicians either. Bad experience to say the least! All 5 of us are going to a wedding in 2 days, that's why we came as a group. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Fuck these people. I've been going here for over a year, always a walk in without any problems. Now twice in a row I've been told they can't help me, and this time it's "my co-worker doesn't want to work on you, you have sensitive skin." After a YEAR I would expect that they'd understand how to work on a repeat customer who always tips well. Trannie was my nail tech and she was very sweet and kind, she made sure I was happy with the shape (I asked for them shorter than I normally would like since I play softball) and made sure I was comfortable! I showed her a picture off Pinterest and she did a better job than the picture! I loved my prom nails, got them done the 26th and I have had them for 3 weeks and they have held up very well! Only 1 gem out of the 14 that were placed on my index fingers fell off but that was my fault I also got a pedicure but I didn't catch the girl's name who did my toes but she was very sweet and the other ladies there complimented my nails and my feet haha! Absolutely love this salon! I've been going here for 10 years now, and they've become like family to me. Every technician is so kind and talented. It's obvious they work hard to make sure everyone has the best experience! The salon is always clean, lots of color/polish/design options, even additional services such as a brow wax (loved mine!) They'er wonderful at fitting in walk-ins, and the pricing is more than fair for the quality of work. I'm so thankful this salon is so close to me, it's my favorite place to go and relax, I always leave feeling pampered and loved! OK when I first saw the 3 star review I was a little perplexed because I follow them on Instagram and all the nails that they post are amazing.. I mean absolutely gorgeous! So when I made my appointment two weeks ago for a fill I requested Tran, because that's the person who's nails I like the most on their IG. Now when I got in for my appointment I sat with a woman not sure if she was Tran or not but she did a great job. Granted the color that I chose was a too little clear & one of the stones did fall off the very next day but the shape was perfect. I have been to at least 10 different salons all around Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Wilsonville so I didn't even care about the stones or the color, the SHAPE is most important to me. This morning I went back for another fill, and again I requested Tran but today I got a different woman. So not sure if last time I had Tran or if today I had Tran, because neither woman talked to me much at all. Anyway, as she was doing my nails I thought everything was going great. She did them super fast and they appeared to be thin.. just like I like. But once I got in my car after I paid $55 (including the tip) I noticed that they were super uneven, lumpy and bumpy and not worth 55 bucks. As soon as I got home I had to cut them, file them and repaint them myself.. just to make sure that they were OK to last me two weeks. I don't have an extra $55 laying around to get these fixed up. I'm super bummed out because like I said their IG is awesome, all the nails on their page are gorgeous and the first tech did a great shape. But today my nails were AWFUL. I did my nails full set and just one solid color. And they charged me $66! I didn't even ask for anything else on my nail because they charged extra for it. They didn't have price listings in their store, but on their website, they said $25 regular full set, I was shocked when they told me the final price I had to pay. This place is horrible!! Ok let me start off with the work, as you can see by photos the acrylic nails they did on me are absolutely hideous. I asked for coffin shaped nails. They gave me this? Some looked squared, some barely looked coffin, and some even looked round! The lady completely rushed through it. The nail polish they used on me was and OPI Polish (beautiful shade btw) but it must have been incredibly old because the consistency was so weird and gross that this nail polish was still not dry after over 12 hours. The next morning my nails were so messed up because I guess I messed up the polish even more in my sleep. The employees are so serious the whole time that it gets really awkward. They don't talk to you, they don't try to make conversation, they look like they hate they're jobs at times. Also this salon stole another company's name, the original nails 4 u. But they couldn't sue because they added that tiny "#1" at the end of the name to confuse customers in to thinking it was the same company. Don't get me wrong this place is very beautiful on the inside. I love the decor and all but I hate the service. Ps. Almost forgot! They reuse the same buffers and files on customers all the time! Never have they made me buy one when I don't take mine. Which I've heard is illegal and unsanitary, but I don't know much about that. I have been going there for a couple of years not and Haylee is the only one there that I think can do nails. Every time I make an appointment I ask for her because I know I will never be disappointed. Most of the time though when I make an appointment I end up getting another nail tech. Like do they not think I know who they are? I got my nails done for homecoming and I don't even remember who did them, but I got the dip and on my left hand it looks amazing while on my right hand at the tips of my nails you can see through the polish. I was so excited to get my nails done. I friend recommended for me to try the dip powder process. I got them coffin shape. After I got home looking at them closer they are lumpy, some are more almond shape than coffin. My daughter and her friend were to get the 25 dollar set. They talked them into the higher price. Almost 200 for 3 sets. I was a bit perplexed by that and not asking me first. I asked the girls they said they didn't understand what they were asking. Then I didn't know they take cash only and have a cash machine right there. Only allows 120 to take out. Never going back. I only got my nails done in less than a week and my shellac nails are already peeling off! Horrible!! Almost all of my nail polish are peeling on the side. My friend that I went with also did not get what she had asked for! She had acrylic nails done, but that she had filed all of her nails the wrong shape. Some were pointer than others and filed too narrow. She had to have another technician take over. We didn't have time to redo her entire set so they just polished over her acrylic nails with a color that didn't match her original request. I brought my daughter here to have her nails done for prom. She wanted stiletto nails and they charged more than what was listed and refused to honor the student discount. They also tried to offer shellac on top for even more extra saying it was the only way to have shiny nails(which is untrue). We declined and she put an extra thick layer of polish on that still wasn't dry hours later. When my daughter woke up the next day her nails were ruined and it had been eight hours after the manicure when she went to bed. I took her back and all they did was put polish over the ruined polish which took forever to dry and was messed up again. I will never come back. I've had my nails down many times both shellac or acrylic with normal polish that looked great and had zero issues with drying etc. This place was awful and overpriced. read more

If I could give this place zero starts I would. I went to see Ty to get a fill done by him, he's also the owner of the salon. My nails are so awful! He had me leave with a huge wrinkle in the polish on my thumb that I know he saw and didn't ask to fix it. My other thumb is filed in the funkiest shape. The rest of the nails don't even come close to matching each other. Two broke after only having them for 2 days and now two other nails broke today! That's 4 nails broken in less than a week of having them done. I'm so heated, I'll never be returning to this place again. He also told me the first polish I picked out "wasn't any good" and asked if I wanted to pick another color so I said sure, then he actually sighed and got annoyed that I said yes?
