First, the server stated that they do not serve food. They only offer karaoke. Second, I came with my kids and he preceded to talk trash about me and my family in front of his co worker. What a interesting themed place. Japenese style menu and after eatting here several times their food continues to always be fresh and colorful. We usually enjoy their sweet chili wings chicken katsu with their soba noodles but they have some great bentos that are on my next time list. You can order your food to go which comes well packaged or enjoy it their cute cafe or even go next door to their Anime bar /karaoke and play games and order blackberry sodas from their StuBBorn craft soda fountain which brings my family returning again and again.. They are happy to bring your food over to you Service is top notch in the Cafe and also at the Bar next door. I am amazed at their full calendar of events offered in both places. Really really cool concept and bar for anime lovers! I love the aesthetics, the lighting, the paintings, manga, and photos around the bar and the screens showing different types of anime! When you enter, there's a whole bunch of anime merch (stickers, models, plushies, cards, etc.) and also snacks that you can purchase! I thought that was pretty neat! They just opened an anime cafe next door to the bar and I do like how you can order from there and come to the bar. They will bring your food to you there if you decide to eat at the bar. The bar has private karaoke rooms, plenty of seating throughout the area (booths, tables, stools), and there's even live karaoke and DJs some nights too. They host Smash Bros and Pokemon tournament events on some nights as well! If you don't want to eat at the bar due to the noise, then you can eat at the cafe. The cafe is a little smaller space, but it's cozy! The bartenders are so sweet, attentive, talkative, and quick with drinks! It's so cute that they also have anime themed drinks with titles like the Tanjiro, Nezuko, Gojo, Mitty, etc. The prices at the cafe are reasonable, depending on what you get. Some of the portion sizes could be a little bit bigger in my opinion for the price. That's the only reason why I'm knocking off one star. The customer service has always been outstanding and the food is delicious as well! The cafe is more of a izakaya type of restaurant where they serve smaller bites (kind of like tapas) but they do have specials and do unique bento boxes often. My favorite thing there is the Yaki onigiri (rice balls that are seared warm and then coated with a soy sauce glaze and topped with scallions, sesame seeds, and furikake). You get two for like $4 and it's worth it! I don't know how they made the sauce but it's one of best sauces that I've ever had on an onigiri (rice ball). They also have filled onigiris with like spicy crab, umeboshi (salted plum), etc. Their bento boxes are worth the purchase because you get a bit of everything like an onigiri, dumpling, veggies, meat, etc. They also have desserts like dango (rice dumplings on a skewer), matcha cheesecake, and mochi (filled and non-filled rice cakes) and drinks like sodas (Ramune flavors, Coca-Cola, Sprite, etc.). Check their Instagram for specials! They had mapo tofu and butter miso ramen (with 12 hour braised pork belly) the last time we went as specials! Both of the items exceed our expectations. The first time we came here it was during a live DJ event and we had a blast! I believe they do DJ live events on the weekends but check their schedule on their Instagram page. I do like that they run the karaoke machine periodically so anyone can come up and sing! But there's no queue so you do have to time when you want to come up and sing. They also have plenty of board games and also an old school nintendo-esque gaming system in the back for patrons to enjoy. Overall, a solid place for some fun late night entertainment and drinks. The cafe is worth checking out, but depending on what you get, the portion size may be a little bit on the smaller side. read more

Wonderful bar!! I didn't catch her name but our bartender was a very energetic and bubbly girl and she was so sweet to us the whole night. We talked to the bartender and a regular customer for hours. If I didn't have to drive I definitely would've stayed longer and had more drinks. We went to the trunk or treat event they had. It was their way of giving back to the community. I think it was a nice gesture, the only complaint I had about the actual event was there wasn't enough light in the parking lot once it got dark. More people showed up when it got dark, probably because of work and getting ready. This was my family's first time checking out the karaoke bar and cafe next door and they were excited. We didn't do any karaoke yet but plan to come back to try it out. I think anime lovers will enjoy the artwork and decor displayed in both places. I think having two private karaoke rooms is an awesome idea and they both can fit a large family, like 10-12 people for the seats but more if people are willing to sit on floor. The anime bar has a small gift shop in the front that has various anime and Asian gifts/snacks. The cafe next door is a small place but it is also cutely decorated with anime decor and the menu is not like hibachi stuff but to me more like Japanese street food options. We tried a lot of various things, I wish I wrote the names down for all of them but I know we enjoyed it! Something about their version of chicken katsu was delicious to me! My family had the curry ramen, pork belly fried rice, pickled veggies, takoyaki, shumai and said it was all good! We will definitely come back! I really want to give this place 5 stars for the great vibe, friendly bartenders, and tasty drinks, but the DJ there tonight was the worst karaoke DJ I've ever seen in my life. He seemed to have a 5-second memory and there was no queue of who was singing next--not even names written on a napkin or anything. So unless you're standing right in front of him waiting patiently for him to finish composing a text & there happens to be not a single person in front of you in line, you don't have much of a shot of getting your song put in. The rooms seem cool if you book ahead of time, but we didn't know what time we were going out. Mistakes were made!! Went in to dine in. Food was served in plastic to go containers. Rice tasted like it was fried in old/rancid oil. Pork belly was rubbery. Sushi was subpar. I can't blame them because I get it but me and my gf were told to leave because I helped her with her omnipod insulin device in the bathroom and I'm guessing just because we briefly were in the bathroom together we are asked to leave. Basically no other customers there too. I don't blame the bartender but was so embarrassed I didn't know what to say and just left. Just wish they were less judgemental.
