Beautiful lounge! The place is very attractive at first glance from the outside and wows you when you get inside. This checks off all the boxes! Ambiance, food, drinks, service, the vibes, and immaculate service. Whether you're with a massive group or in an intimate setting, this place has the proper seating for your party or date. As a first timer, I was impressed with the space. Nightlife can be tricky and some spaces just don't have the proper size for your desired night out. There's a bar for mingling but if you're there for dinner , there's that too. If you want more room and tend to have more volume in the conversations you carry, the outdoor space is ideal (especially since my friends and I like to laugh and goof off). That being said , we found ourselves seated in the patio and we loved it. Very comfortable, especially as the weather was cool that evening. Food was surprisingly delicious. Knowing that the restaurant appeal was competing with the nightlife vibe I was getting, I didn't expect there to be quality Mediterranean food. However, I was pleased with the calamari, salmon bites, hummus and brussel sprouts. My friend got steak and enjoyed his food as well. Drinks were great! One stood out the most which was the Smoke Show. Absolute perfection. Kinda snuck up on me though so be careful! Dress code. For men. Don't bring a hat. Don't even hold it in your hand. They're pretty strict about it. No flip flops. Put the Crocs away. No jerseys. My husband had jeans and Tshirt on but I saw others a bit more dressy casual. For the ladies. If service on drinks and food and been faster I'd have given two more stars, but the place was very calm and we still waited a while to drink and eat. Had to assume there was a private party secluded somewhere eating up literally everyone's time. Drinks average $15 each, very short menu of food, appetizers, and desserts, but what they cook, they cook Well! Delicious! However, we arrived around 6pm without reservations on a night when literally every table had a Reserved sign on it, and 90% of the tables were empty and remained so while we were there for an hour. 1-2 bartenders, and a virtually empty main restaurant, and our first drinks after being seated took over 10 minutes. Shocking and disappointing. The food took about 20 minutes to come out but was worth the wait, very good food. They offer hookahs also but at a premium price, much more than Casbah and other competitors. They have private dining and private rooms with chandeliers and I saw one with a billiard table. Catering to elitist clientele with money to spend and all the time in the world, I guess. I would have loved to enjoy a no rush hookah on their very loved outdoor patio, but I also hate waiting for drinks outside when they're already high priced. Dua is a beautifully designed restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, but the menu felt a bit limited and didn't offer many authentic Mediterranean options. I ended up ordering the Dua Shrimp, which consisted of Sautéed shrimp, capers, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, garlic, fresh basil, olive oil & a baguette. Service was on the slower side, and a few servers came across as quite rude. Still, it's a nice spot to relax with friends, enjoy good music, and share hookah. Was recently here. Let me me start by saying that the number on their website doesn't work and it's also the wrong number. Even after I double checked it and called the number the first time it sounded disconnected, and then when I attempted to call again the voicemail mentioned it belonged to a John. And I must say it wasn't super busy when we got there but it took about 20 mins for a waiter to come by and that was after we flagged someone down to take our drink order. They also gave us the smallest table for 4 people and for appetizers and our hookah. They were about to tell us to just place the hookah on the floor. I'm sorry but that would've been a hazard. Then they finally moved us to a booth. I'm giving this place overall a 4 because everything we ate was so delicious. This place is amazing with a delicious selection of Mediterranean food you can not go wrong. Located at 8532 Baymeadows road. The place is beautifully decorated with also an outdoor seating patio. Some booths are huge allowing for birthday gathering with friends or other occasions. We started with the trifecta hummus and the calamari is starter which was absolutely delicious. The hummus was rich and fresh and the olives and eggplant were perfection and flavorful. The calamari was tender as well but crispy on the outside which I love. We had fettuccine si funghi with add on shrimp. Creamy and perfect. Noodles were not soggy and tasteful not bland. Service was helpful and attentive. It's rare to find a spot where the food matches the vibe, but this place delivers. I've been three times and the dishes are consistently excellent! The filet with mushroom wine sauce was so good I returned the very next day just to have it again. The bar staff is friendly, and on my first visit I even had a warm chat with the manager, which made the evening feel especially welcoming. That said, service quality here seems to depend on how you're perceived. At a large birthday dinner with a well-dressed group, we ordered multiple bottles of wine and were treated like VIPs, with access to the pool room and attentive service. By contrast, when I came back another time with just one friend; casually dressed but still neat, the energy shifted. We asked about playing pool and were told "sure," only to be asked to leave moments later because of a $500 minimum we hadn't been informed about. Instead of feeling like guests, we felt like a problem to manage. The food is absolutely worth the visit, but the inconsistent hospitality left a lasting impression. The experience on my third visit leaned more toward South Beach-style pretension (without the payoff) than genuine hospitality. Went here a couple times, once with a group of 4 at a table, then me and a friend at the bar. Both times the vibe was relaxing and comfortable. The music volume is just right to where you can actually have a proper conversation with people, whereas the other hookah places the music blaring. The food was great and the dessert was even better. I did notice they tend cater to the fancier crowd and that, in my opinion, determines the type of service you get. While the servers were nice, both outings the service was a little spotty compared to some of the higher end tables. At the group outing, we pretty much ordered all the desserts and they informed us they would be taking pics for their Instagram page, not a huge deal, and said they would comp the desserts. In the end, they did not take them off the check but it wasn't a big deal. The time with my friend at the bar, we were greeted and then. Sat at the bar, after ordering, my friend was informed he had to remove his beanie due to the dress code. The timing on that seemed iffy. My husband and I visited this lounge when it first opened before they acquired their liquor license. We frequently came here because of the decor and seating outside. However, we were at the bar area and I sat my phone down for a hot minute and someone stole it. They were trying to get my iphone password by the next day. This restaurant showed no empathy and didn't take my number in case it was found. I came by the next day, and the manager, of Chinese origin, rudely stated do you see a phone? huh? There was nothing about this place we did not like. Came in on a Thursday night. Reservation was easy to make, but def suggest making one as it does get busy. The place was empty when we arrived and packed by the time we left. Dua is a vibe. Clean and stylish without feeling cramped and stuffy. I even commented to my guest how good the ventilation was because every other table had a hookah going, but it wasn't smoky and the scents weren't overpowering. Onto the food. Not a complicated menu, which I can appreciate. We ordered the salmon bites and hummus trio for appetizers. Both tasty and fresh and full of flavor. The portions were also generous. I had the buttered salmon as an entree, Brussels on the side for an up charge. Again, big portion. We also tried the seafood pasta and if there ever was a flavor bomb, that was it. We started with a charcuterie board that was well prepared with olives, fig, three cheeses and a variety of meats. For the entree my boyfriend and I had the filet. We were a party of 15. It took 20 minutes for any drinks to come out. There was no music playing for quite a while either. After ordering the food, multiple items were brought out incorrectly or items never ordered. Some guests had to sit without their meal for an additional 10/15 minutes after the rest had their dishes. The sever was barely present, had to get up and find other workers multiple times to find our server to even get forks or plates. But the biggest issue - food poisoning!! Over 50% of the party had food poisoning and all had different dishes. From the salmon, shrimp on a caesar salad, brussels sprouts, and chicken parmesan. i called to meet with the manager of this establishment for a business event i wanted to have on their patio. i called a couple of times and was told a couple of times to call back. i was finally able to reach eva the manager and her let know what i was trying to do. she went on to advise that i should come in to view the property so i could decide where on the patio we would like to host the event. i said i know you all don't open until 4, i can come then. she suggested she could meet me earlier in the day. i said are you sure i dont mind i can come when you all open. she again said, no i don't mind i can come early. we agreed upon 1pm. she said i'll be there at 1pm. show up to the meeting at 12:53 because i don't like being late nor do i waste people's time. mind you i live off 2-95, pass the airport, so not close! pulled in the parking lot, empty, there was a guy watering the outside, never acknowledged me. i walk to the door, it was locked he knew that but didn't say a word. as i walked back to my car, i said excuse me is eva here? barely made eye contact with me and said no. no follw up, couldn't care less if i had business with them or not. i was a little early so i sat in the car, waited for another 15 minitss and finally left. how unprofessional! i'm not sure why i'm totally surprised. when i visited the place a couple of times prior, i noticed a theme of how they treat a certain clientele but i wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. this really confirms it. read more

Horrible experience... went here based on a review I saw on Instagram. Wife and I made reservations, came in, was seated by the staff. After over 10 minutes waiting for anyone to come to the table, a lady came and informed me that I couldn't wear a hat. I was dressed nice and even my hat was nice. Don't mind a no hat policy, but it's not listed on their site, posted anywhere inside, and the staff that greeted us when we came in never said a word. Also there were about 5 other people wearing Christmas hats right in the room next to us, but I was the only one being asked. I took my hat off, but we were so caught off guard and off-put we got up and left. Was really looking forward to it too, but the only service we received was being asked to adhere to a non-existent dress code. We started with the trio hummus and the dua shrimp which were both so fresh. The hummus is house made and so flavorful. The presentation of each plate is perfect. Currently, Dua Lounge offers a good selection of beer and wine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The tiramisu and rice pudding were amazing and very light. The perfect way to end the night.
