This place was great, I went with a group of friends and we were all impressed with this place. The waitress and rest of the serving staff were great and attentive. The place was pretty busy but the service was quick. The food and the drinks were great and each latte/hot beverage comes with a cute design on top.

Salsa - delicious. Not the chunky style btw.

5+ stars for their house made salsa! The food is great and healthy with low/lowish calorie options, but the salsa that comes with most entrees is amazing and worth it alone. Staff is friendly and great service too. Be sure to sit in outdoor area in the back which is very pleasant and surrounded by tall trees -- nicer with a shady spot, or one with good table umbrella coverage. By the way, you can buy a 12 oz container of salsa if they have enough for around $8. Best to check after their lunch crowd. ---------------------- NOTE: This review is entirely my own and written solely at my own initiative. Yum!! I don't know how I JUST came across Naked Cafe in Encinitas - I have been missing out! Great selection of breakfast/brunch items and a fun coffee/tea menu. The inside is cute too and staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the Yin & Yang bowl + the Bacon Avocado toast with potatoes and both were an A+. I enjoyed them both but would happily branch out to try something else since so many other menu items looked good. Definitely worth a visit when in Encinitas. The location is unassuming but in a popular strip mall. Parking is easy and it wasn't busy when I visited on a weekday morning. Food was ready quickly and they happily accommodated a couple special requests we had. Will return when in the area!

When I lived here in Cardiff and Encinitas, I used to eat here all the time. I wish there was one in Seal Beach or Long Beach! And when I lived in Hawaii, that's where it definitely is needed! It has always been a place where I would come to eat clean and healthy food. Fresh ingredients, tasty, great combinations. Who would've thought brown rice and veggies could ever make a great combo as a meal that you would pay for lol however, their sauces and mixtures and flavors really make their entrées so tasty... To the point that I always crave eating here. Flash forward, I'm in town visiting and as always, I stop in to order my favorite meal, the Dual Goddess, of course with extra peanut sauce on the side. It has zucchinis, brown rice, broccoli, carrots, and then small bite-sized (Note I said bite-size not big chunks) of ginger marinated steak and chicken. Dishes like these tend to have their protein cut so that you have to use a knife to cut them into smaller pieces... Not here! The flavors are so good and then add the peanut sauce... Chef's kiss! The cherry on top of my experience is the service. My server, Brittney, was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. She had a few tables ahead of me but acknowledged my presence so that I knew she would be with me when she had a chance. She was very accommodating and helpful in her recommendations... I ordered the pistachio latte, one of their summer specials, 10 out of 10! I ordered it hot. It was so delicious and they added a little sprinkle of Matcha on top. I am not a Matcha fan... At least not an entire cup of it. But sprinkled on top was perfect. It brought out the pistachio flavor yet offset it so it wasn't too heavy on pistachio! Everything was fabulous... Even down to the food runner, Reese. He was so friendly and efficient... This place is a 10 out of 10 and I will continue to come back and support this local business. If we had one in Seal Beach or Long Beach, I would be there every day... And I would be broke lol !

The most amazing slice of homemade pumpkin chocolate loaf. Thanks Sophie!

A locals favorite serving healthy and environmentally conscious breakfast, lunch, and handcrafted beverages. I found myself in this plaza and just needed an afternoon pick me up so I treated myself to a naked matcha latte. This drink ended up being one of the best matchas I've ever had and I couldn't stop staring at the beautiful palm tree latte art that was made out of cinnamon. My server was Sophie and everyone dining that day knows her. Clearly a favorite with all the locals. She brought me over a slice of their chocolate pumpkin loaf and said it was on the house. So sweet! I took it with me and enjoyed it at the beach later that day and again it ended up being one of the best loafs I've ever tried. Very moist, flavorful, and super chocolaty. Thank you so much Sophie and can't wait to see you again and this time dine-in.

The patio is such a find! Around the back, it's perfect for pups, kids, solo reading and groups. I love this place. The food is always so satisfying. The chocolate pumpkin bread is honestly the best thing I've ever eaten. Such a find! Support small businesses!!

Amazing coffee and food! Took my family of 3 here and we all got different plates... even the gluten free pancake was delicious. I'm a vegetarian so I loved the wrap with vege sausage. Service was quick and the atmosphere is comfortable. I will definitely be back!! There is lots of parking and the option to sit inside or out on the cute back patio area.

Stopped by for some brunch with friends! While the food was okay, the service was quite slow and they did not check on us to fill our waters or pay the check which was a bit bizarre. I got the yin and yang bowl which was alright, the top layer that had the jalapeños and sour cream was good but the rest of it lacked flavor and really tasted of potatoes and beans. However I liked that it came with a fresh tortilla. My boyfriend got the huevos rancheros and seemed to have the same problem with his food lacking any seasoning and flavor. Our friends seemed to enjoy their food and coffees. Overall we loved the various food options but the lack of flavor and poor service made the experience a bit weird. The workers didn't seem particularly socialable and again, they never checked on us so we were left with empty waters and waited for a significant time to pay our bill. Can't say I'd want to come back for brunch as the food resembled something We could make at home.

Naked café continues to be one of my favorite spots! They always have such creative and yummy specials. If you want a healthy take on a lot of favorites , naked is the place to go. Service is quick, it actually took longer to make my coffee than my meal. Servers are friendly, and the back door patio is so cute! Fit with many heat lamps.

    Coconut French Toast (vegan version)
    Mirna E.

Service was friendly. This is one of the few eateries with descent vegan options. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options. Hubby and I ordered the crunchy burritos and substituted the egg for tofu. I also ordered a side of the vegan coconut French toast which was pretty delicious. The burritos were good but small. I was glad I had ordered the side of vegan French toast. Hubby; however, felt the burritos were pretty small and still felt hungry. They came with a side of black beans and a small dollop of fried potatoes. My daughter had the kids vegan pancake and it was shaped like Mickey Mouse and came with a side of fruit. We also had a mocha latte with oat milk, sans the whip. It came with a few chocolate chips on the side but I'd didn't ask if they were vegan or not so we didn't consume them. The baby had little bits of everyone's food. Overall, I enjoyed the food and plan to return. We appreciated the vegan options.

HIGHLIGHTS (in case you don't feel like reading): SERVICE: 10/10 FOOD: 10/10 AMBIANCE: 10/10 BAR 10/10 Wait Staff: The Henry seems to have built a genuinely great culture among its wait staff. Across roughly 8 to 10 visits, I've never had a poor experience with a single server. Every interaction has been overwhelmingly positive. Being realistic, these men and women are on their feet for hours, constantly moving and working, yet every server I've encountered stays upbeat and makes you feel genuinely appreciated as a guest. That level of consistency doesn't happen by accident! More recently, ELENA and GRACE have been my servers, and they embody everything described above and I hope to see them every time I go!!! Food: I'll be honest, As far as entrees fI refuse to order anything other than the prime skirt steak and the braised short rib because they're both that good. Prime skirt steak: Order it medium rare and expect a perfect sear, a beautiful crust, and a perfectly cooked steak. Over the many times I've ordered it, it has come out virtually identical every single time, and the presentation is equally impressive. Flawless dish. Braised Short Rib: It's textbook perfect. The sauce hits that sweet and savory balance beautifully, and with the mashed potatoes, everything just works. Presentation is excellent here, too. You'll see some variety from time to time, and it's fun to see it. This is an easy ten out of ten dish. SUSHI: ORDER THE SUSHI! Neither of the aforementioned dishes are especially large and this is where the sushi comes in! They have EXCELLENT sushi rolls as well! Ask about the yellowtail specialty roll! High praise for the 3 different rolls that I tried! Ambience. The ambience deserves its own mention. There's an energy to the place--lively and upbeat, but not chaotic. No bad seat in the restaurant. I ordered the mahi mahi fish tacos and a house coffee. The coffee was actually pretty good! Cream and sugar were delivered separately to finish with your preference. As for the tacos, it was okay. The fish was a bit dry for my liking, cabbage could have been chopped with more finesse, and I wished they QC'd their limes a bit before putting them on the plate. Both were bone dry and I had to ask for more. Moreover, the cilantro lime rice was also a bit bland. It needed salt to lift the flavors in my opinion. There weren't even flecks of green if it was supposed to be cilantro? I tried boyfriend's veggie hash but was disappointed to find that it was almost all potatoes. Having said that, it was an extremely generous portion so he was filled up. While I didn't try it, our friend that had the chorizo hash also said it was okay so I'm guessing the ratio wasn't quite right. Anyways, ask for their chili sauce on the side, that's actually quite surprising. It had really good heat and was more like a chili crisp than a vinegary hot sauce. The plates that did score favorably at the table were the carne chilaquiles and the divorced eggs.
