I was looking for indian cuisine near where I live and I came across this spot. We went in 2 hrs before it closed on a Sunday night. We were seated very quickly. The server was very attentive and checked on us quite frequently. We ordered the lentil soup (delicious even for my partner who is not a soup person), naan, chicken masala, lamb, veggie balls and tea. Everything was exceptional, received our food quickly, quality was there even with fast service, very tasty and authentic as I've dined at multiple different Indian cuisines across the US. As for spice they have 4 levels. I love spice as hot as the sun so I would say I could have had it spicer but my partner said it was just right for spice. Price is very reasonable and within market pricing. For two apps, two entree and a drink it was under $65. You also get a lot for what you pay for. Atmosphere is nice for family setting, private dinner, etc. they have music playing in the background and the decor is very nice as well. I would recommend giving this place a try if you enjoy this style of cuisine.

Rajasthani Chicken Kabab

This is my brothers go-to Indian restaurant so I thought I would give it a shot! I had the appetizer Rajasthani Chicken Kabab it was very good I liked that you could order it really spicy, and not too salty at all which I appreciate. It was a little dry though (sidenote I did order super late at night). Also shared the samosas. Two come in and order, and trust me you do not need more than one, maybe two if you're really hungry! They are absolutely huge, like the size of my palm. I did taste the curry, it is very good, less saucy than other places but a lot of meat. It come in a pint size container with a side of rice. Looking forward to trying other menu options!

Garlic naan

My favorite local Indian food spot- luckily for me, it is close to my job. I always get the chicken tikka masala, served with rice. An order of samosas is a must- get more than 1 order if you intend to share! I always get a mango lassi. I switch between regular naan and garlic naan, depending on my mood. This has been the most consistent Indian restaurant I've had in CT. There's a few other spots that have been good some times but fallen short other times. Namaste India has always delivered on great flavors. I would be interested in trying some other stuff on their menu! I'll update my review when I do!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant. I have been dining here for years. My favorite dishes are the Gobi (app), chicken chili and mushroom chili. I do also enjoy attending the lunch buffet.

Paneer Garlic Naan

I love this place, we had a Groupon and decided to go, I haven't been here in a long time, which makes me wonder why because it was amazing. We were seated right away, I ordered some Naan to start and they bring over a little of their caraway cracker as well with a few dipping sauces. I ordered the lamb vindaloo extra spicy and they did not disappoint. I really love the food here. It is authentic, service is good and did not leave hungry.

Nice little spot with authentic flavors! It's located in the corner of a plaza so it doesn't look like much from the outside. They just opened for Sunday lunch; we'd initially gone in hopes of trying the buffet they advertised but they weren't doing it today, for some reason. Large menu but divided up by protein so you can navigate it easily. I had the Fish Tikka Masala and got it medium spicy and it didn't disappoint! The salmon was seared and then put in the sauce which had heat that built over the course of the meal. The garlic naan was AMAZING- honestly the best we've had anywhere. They didn't hold back with the garlic, which we love. My fiancé had the Chicken Madras, which he felt needed a little more seasoning but said it was still tasty. The vegetable samosa appetizer was perfect-dough fried to a golden crisp, no excess oil. The inside was seasoned and very warm, not soggy, and had various textures to keep it from feeling mushy. Definitely recommend!

Hidden gem in Southington. Consistently good food and service. Wish the buffet had more to offer.

This is officially our go-to spot when we want a full-on punch of real Indian flavor. As someone…read morefrom South India, it is rare to find food that actually tastes like home--but this place nails it. The kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod. The space is small and simple--people are here for one reason only: serious, no-nonsense deliciousness. Alex, Siva, and the team are fantastic--super welcoming and always happy to guide you. They even offer two spice styles (American and Indian), each with mild, medium, and spicy. Choose wisely... or bravely. The usual dishes like tikka masala are great, but the real magic is in the South Indian menu. If you are not sure what to order, just ask--they will not steer you wrong. We have also started ordering catering for parties, and let me tell you--nothing validates food like a room full of very judgmental Indian relatives going back for seconds and thirds. At our last event, the quiet "this is really good" nods said everything. We ordered chicken Chettinad, salmon curry, aloo gobi, goat biryani, and garlic naan--every single dish was outstanding. The only tragedy? Not enough leftovers for the next day. And do not skip the filter coffee. One sip, eyes closed, and you are instantly transported home, even if it's for a little while. Moringa team--keep doing exactly what you are doing. Love it!!

They start you out with a cold ice water. For my first drink, I'm having the Old Fashioned made with Four Roses Bourbon, simple syrup, a dash of bitters (2-3 for me) and garnished with an orange and a Maraschino cherry. This isn't bad. It's balanced pretty well. It could be a bit more chilled. I would recommend stirring it with a bar spoon. For an appetizer, I am trying the Sabjiplatter which is an assortment of vegetable fritters including eggplant (Bhujia's), potato, onion, spinach and cauliflower which come with tamarind and mint sauces. This is good! I love those sauces! For our second appetizer, we are having the Utsav Kebab Platter made with a blend of Tandoori kebabs, chicken tikka, chicken malai, kalmi kebab and shrimp tikka. These are good! Dip them in the sauces. They can be a bit dry. For out next appetizer, we are having the Papadum With Chutney which is toasted lentils crispy and flattened with onion chutney, tamarin and mint sauce. I love that onion chutney! For my soup, I'm having the Thakkali Rasam. This is a spicy South Indian hot and sour thin soup made with garlic, tamarind, herbs and spices. It's hot, spicy, tastes a little oily and has a few dried red pepper flosters. I love it! For my salad, I'm having the Garden Salad made with fresh cut rounds of cucumber, carrots, onions, tomato, and carrot served with Olive oil and Chat Masala. This thing is huge! I love the dressing! For my entree, I'm having the Goat Mamsun Koora which is goat meat n bone cooked on roasted coconut peanut masala with hot chilies, ginger, garlic and curry leaves. This is delicious! It's quite couch too!!For my second drink, I'm having a Proper Manhattan made with High West Double Rye, equal parts sweet and dry vermouth, a dash of bitters and garnished with a cherry. Very good! It's served in a martini glass! This is well balanced and chilled! What a great meal here!
