dynkyduc, Jamison PA. 6/24/22. Its' been better than a year since most Indian restaurants in the Phila. area have discontinued their buffet luncheons. While Namaste also falls into that category, my wife and I stayed for lunch. We are in our 70's and have eaten Indian food in some 25 different restaurants over the years and are fairly familiar with what to expect from each dish. With only one other person in the restaurant the service was immediate and the food arrived promptly. My wife ordered Butter Chicken and I ordered Madras Curry Chicken. Each was spiced according to our request and was served with long grain rice. Each of the dishes was excellent. To accompany the order, was Onion Kulcha (bread) 2-each Chutney's, and Raita. I ordered a Strawberry Lassi and my wife, water. As all Indian food is cooked to order, it is priced Ala Carte. It was a very satisfying experience and we plan to return again next month. The restaurant and bathroom facilities were very clean, with toilet paper and soap. I also gave the owner's wife a 5-minute dissertation on why they should re-start their luncheon buffet service; to include an expanded offering, increasing customer attendance increasing sales and profits. Indian food is never cheap, so if your wallet is thin and your tastes are bland your better off going to Mc Donalds. Our lunch bill was $61.00 including tip. As a FOODIE I would rate NAMASTE in the top five of all Indian Restaurants I have eaten in, covering the Bucks-Mont Area. read more

My husband I decided to get take out. But didn't want to spend a lot of money on somewhere we have never eaten. We ordered the chef special of a variety of meat samples and sauces and garlic naan. The garlic naan was amazing soft and full of flavor. The samosas in the specials were tasty. The lamb had a wonderful aroma and I loved the three sauces. There was mint and an onion chutney and a pepper one. The pepper one was too spicy for me but the other two were perfect. We only spent $21.00 for two orders of the special and two orders of garlic naan. The next time I plan on being more adventurous and get the lamb korma and the chicken tikka. read more

Quick delicious food!! The cauliflower manchurian was my favorite, closely followed by the butter chicken. I ordered the lamb vindaloo extra spicy for my husband and was expecting to see him sweat, but I don't think it was overly spicy. My kids didn't try much but did love the cheese naan. Maybe next time I'll order less spicy options. I love that you can order on yelp and pick it up quickly, much easier for me than trying to make a call and embarrass myself by mispronouncing dishes. Namaste, Namaste! We are so happy to have a good Indian restaurant so close to home. My family and I eat at Namaste at least once per month. Their lunch buffet is very good and reasonably priced, and the staff is always very friendly and attentive without hovering. Although the buffet (and the restaurant itself) might be smaller than some others in the area, we always find that they have a good selection of food and we always eat more than our share. We've also never had to wait for a table at lunch! The kids like anything they make with paneer and we really enjoy the chicken 65, vegetable korma, and chicken manchurian. You get fresh made plain or garlic naan with the buffet as well as chai tea and/or mango lassi. We visit Namaste often enough that my only complaint about this place is that they could vary the buffet options, so we could try even more of their delicious food. read more

On short notice we had to find another Indian restaurant in our area, this place blew us away. The authenticity, quality and great menu at this establishment exceeded our expectations. Loved this place! As someone who has struggled with finding Indian food that I like, this place hit it out of the park. The tandoori chicken was aaaahhhmazing. The cauliflower app was also quite delicious. My dining partner had some kind of lamb app while he was waiting for me (oops) and thoroughly enjoyed both that and his entree. It is BYOB as well. Our server was so super sweet, even when we overstayed past closing time. They will accommodate varying levels of spice preferences (mine is "wimp") which was huge. Second time ordering and are again soooo happy. We did takeout and I got the Baingan Bharta medium spice and it was just seriously delicious with the right amount of kick for me. My husband got the chicken curry, spicy, and absolutely loved it, he ate the whole thing. That also brings me to the generous portions and the fact our food was still steaming when we got it home. Friendly service as well and online ordering makes it so easy. I have so much more I want to try here! We will be back. read more

Flavors were so vibrant. We ordered Chicken Vindaloo, extra spicy, and they delivered with the heat! I got Mutter Paneer, medium heat, and it was one of my favorites ever. Veggie samosas with the sauces and red onion are a must. So pleased with this meal, great job chef! read more

The restaurant is clean and cozy. The samosas are very fluffy and tasty. The gulab jamon and carrot halwa were delicious.

Didn't even realize this place was here until yesterday. I stopped in for dinner with my fiancé and, wow, we were impressed. The lentil soup (mulligatawny) was perfect, garlic naan was so tasty, and my chicken curry was delicious. The place is very clean and intimate, and our waiter was extremely friendly and welcoming. Being that this place is right up the road and the food was perfect, I will only be going to this place for now on. read more

Portion sizes were a little small but it was the best Indian food I've had around the burbs so far. Great dessert and naan. Lamb appetizer was really good too. Again, all small portions. For the price I would prefer more but I'd absolutely eat there again. read more

Visiting the Philadelphia area and really wanted good Indian cuisine, which is nowhere to be found near me in VT. The food is EXCELLENT. The service is great. The cooks come out to talk with you regarding the food, spice level, and service. They also are so friendly and welcoming! If you're visiting the area, this is definitely a must-try! We've been here 3 times and this is a wonderful restaurant. We frequently eat at Indian restaurants and are so glad Namaste opened so close to our neighborhood. It's a small place, but very nice inside with comfortable seating. We are welcomed immediately each time. There is a good variety of dishes on the menu, including Nepalese items which we had not had before (and highly recommend them!). The server patiently explains about some dishes we were not familiar with. Each time, our meals were delicious. The owner stopped by each time to check on us, and it's nice to chat with him. We always have enough to take home some leftovers, to enjoy again too. I recommend this restaurant highly. If you're not familiar with this area, it's in a shopping center that is easy to get in and out of, with plenty of close and free parking. read more

I have really enjoyed ordering from this restaurant using a food delivery service during the Covid pandemic. Namaste always reads the additional notes in the order and gets it correct every time. I have been happy to support this restaurant and look forward to returning there. Some of my favorites are the mirchi (breaded stuffed long hot peppers), chili garlic naan, paneer saag, chicken Goan, chicken korma.... why not give it a try? Truly friendly staff as well. read more
