Brandy beans they had - The shooters in various liquor flavors and the "weinbrandbohnen" in both small and large boxes. While I was there I grabbed some tea and bread and some chocolate squared. They even offered me say sauce, wasabi, and chop sticks at check out. Last but not least if you want to keep your purchases cold, they keep a cooler of crushed ice outside for you to use gratis. Parking is a bit chaotic especially during busy times like during the lunch or after work times. They had the usual array of nonstick pots, which don't work very well for me. They had a small but useful section for clay pots. I thought Amazon and AliExpress had overpriced clay pots, but I was wrong. These prices were significantly higher. I can only hope these are the best of the best. Checking up on 99 Ranch, I couldn't even find clay pots in there more limited kitchen utensil section. I ran across one item where knockoffs are ubiquitous. They've completely flooded AliExpress and you have to watch it with Amazon. Hankook had the authentic item and at significantly lower price than both Amazon and Aldi express. I found a tea section to be well stocked. I also recognize some of the tea brands. 99 Ranch has gone with lower cost options, but if you buy 6 ounces of tea, are you gonna be stuck with an enormous supply. Better to go with reliable brands that I have enjoyed in the past. I loved the produce section. It was nice and fresh. It also had wider selection of produce than other supermarkets. The store itself is stunning. The the aisles are spacious. The store is meticulously clean. The shelves are fully stocked. There were only about two items which were shopped out. The snack area and the frozen foods were even more interesting. It's obvious in those two sections that there were many more Korean brands. I should've tried some, but it's hard for me to resist snacks and there was a good chance that would finish the entire bag in one go. Better to skip it entirely. The parking lot for the supermarket is spacious. I had no trouble finding a spot even though I arrived in the late afternoon when everybody has gotten off work. I live about two hours away. And I am very jealous because there is no Hankook near me.

They always have inexpensive produce, lots of fresh stuff. I got a bag of bok choy for $2. I think if you are looking for Asian produce, a great place to shop. They also have a lot of prepared foods, snack foods, etc. Everything is reasonably priced. They do have a large enough parking lot, and usually we park on the side to avoid the chaos.

We tried their in home sour cream, and hands down it's the best sour cream I have ever had (and I am typically not a sour cream person but this I liked). They even carry butter from Turkey, which was interesting to try. Overall, a solid spot with lots of good finds, and we'll definitely be back to grab more goodies. That was a bit diappointing. Had a bento lunch at the Pogu - Bulgogi. This was a good meal with plenty of banchan Also bought a matcha drink at the Cafe which was good. Bought some cookies at the Bakery, which is gluten free. Overall experience was good, but it's pretty hard to get to since I live west of 280 and there's no easy way to get there except down Page Mill, which is very slow. It's easier to just go to downtown Palo Alto or MV. Probably fiine for people living close to 101. They are right next door to Home Depot and I never go there unless I have to do major hardware shopping like lumber. So it's unclear whether I would make the effort to go to Mega Mart except to get stacks of short ribs or shabu shabu meats.

I bought materials for Kra Pao: their chicken breasts reek and feel mucky, and the pack of basil was all dried and wilted and barely half was usable. Pretty sure this place has poor practices when it comes to labeling "sell by" dates. I also had a pack of chicken breast from Trader Joe's with the same sell by date, and the freshness was absolute night and day. This better not ruin my Kra Pao. Will not be back again.

I bought small scoops of a few things to sample and the scant dim sum offerings, $54?!!! I almost walked out, leaving it on the counter. Tried a few things before I started wondering how long everything had been sitting out in the "danger zone" temperature. NOTHING was hot. $52 worth of lunch ended up in the chevron garbage can.
