It felt like we were in Hyderabad. My Telegu spouse was at home! Kids loved their cone dosas.

We set up a girls dinner date with a few of our other friends and we had the best time! Since we were walk-in's, we sat at the bar, and would have had limited dining time if we were to sit at the table. Tane had a happy hour menu from 5p-6:30p, so we pretty much ordered everything off the happy menu! The menu items were half the price minus the corn ribs which I ordered from the regular menu. Food was amazing, so much umami flavor in every bite! The only thing that I wouldn't give a 5/5 for food was the Da Bao. I would give it a 3/5 only because the whole Bao itself was bland, maybe if the vegan spam was marinated in a glaze would taste better! My friends and I had no room for dessert unfortunately. Overall service was great, and the restaurant is beautiful! The lighting at the bar was perfect to get those yelp worthy/social media worthy pictures!

Tane is all things vegan and non-alcoholic, it's a great way to have indulgent sushi and ramen without meat! My favorite rolls were the Ewa and The Wedge, absolutely delicious. The barbers is like a Russian roulette situation and for those looking for adventure it's a must order. The corn ribs are delicious. Would highly recommend. We walked in and were able to get seated around 5pm on a Sunday! So definitely would try that. Expect to pay sushi level prices though, the chefs are at work crafting these masterpieces.

We ended up ordering a slice of mango cake and yum. Definitely did not disappoint. Tasted like a good old fashioned Asian fruit cake in the best way possible. Dishes that are vegetable-based or prioritize seitan and tofu are typically the best kind of vegan food, over fake meat that never tastes like what its imitating. I wouldn't bring someone without dietary restrictions here, but I think it's a perfect place to bring a vegan/vegetarian/meat-restricted person. They have a lot of good options here. The soups are relatively flavourful for vegan broths. The curry fried rice is delicious as well. I also appreciate the variety of drink options made with vegan milk substitutes. The service is pretty fast considering how busy it gets. Some of the workers can't speak much English, but it hasn't been an issue. Southeast Asian food can be very meat-heavy, so places like this are great. If your vegetarian friend is ever craving Thai or Vietnamese food, bring them here!

I got their ja jang mien, and I really liked it--especially the thick, chewy noodles! My coworker got General Tso's, and we also got some veggie dumplings to share. The dumplings were a bit on the bland side, but otherwise good. Service was relatively quick. The interior is clean and well kept (I guess more than you'd think looking at the little strip it is part of), and the wait staff are friendly. The parking lot for the strip mall this is in is on the small side, though, and may be tough to find parking during the lunch rush if you don't arrive early (and I would highly suggest carpooling). Tasty and friendly, I need to remember to suggest this place for lunch more often over the closer places we tend to think of first! I will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the customer service left a lot to be desired. I arrived shortly after they opened, and there was no greeting or acknowledgment when I walked in, even though the restaurant was empty. When I approached the counter to pick up my order, I gave the name it was under. Instead of confirming the order or asking any questions, the first thing I heard from the cook was, "Get her card first." The cashier then immediately said, "Give me your card." Only after my payment was processed did they hand me my food and say, "Thank you." I completely understand that businesses need to protect themselves and ensure orders are paid for before they're released. That's not the issue. It's the way it was handled. As a customer, it felt like I was being treated as if I might take the food and run, rather than being welcomed into a local, family-owned business. A simple greeting, confirming the order, and then politely requesting payment would have made all the difference. Great customer service and protecting your business can absolutely go hand in hand. The food was outstanding, but the experience made me feel unwelcome. Sadly, because of the customer service, I don't see myself returning.

As much as Mazra is great at/known for their meats, they also put so much thought and care into their vegetables. For example, our favorite mezza is their Whole Cauliflower, which is a massive cauliflower head that's roasted and then coated with a lemon tahini dressing. (They also give you more lemon to squeeze on it.) The cauliflower always comes out perfectly roasted; the inner parts are tender and toothsome, while the outer parts are crispy and a deep, golden brown. Another great vegetable option is their Veggie Plate, which is a plate overflowing with delights on a bed of their rice: falafel; a segment of their cauliflower; roasted broccoli and potatoes; their saffron mushrooms; and a halloumi roll. Each item is about as perfect as can be, and the sheer quantity makes it a fantastic deal. Of course, we still love their shawarma plates, which you can get with either chicken or steak shawarma. The meat comes thinly cut and tender, and somehow still a bit juicy! The plates are also a great value, since they come with a ton of great items that pair well with the meat. These include a rich, savory sauce (toum [garlic sauce] with the chicken, tahini with the steak) and two of their amazing sides. My favorite sides are the baba ghannoush (creamy and earthy) and their fries (golden, crispy, and pillowy). They continue improving the space, too. The pickup window makes it so much easier to get takeout, and they've really dialed in the flow of the inside and back courtyard seating areas.

I am one of those people who thinks that just about every meal needs animal protein or it won't be satisfying. Well, Happy Flower proved me wrong because I came away with a very happy and full stomach and I did not even miss the meat! We ordered 8 different dishes to share family style, and I was especially pleased with the all seasons sampler and vegan fried rolls appetizers, as well as the pad Thai, salted fish fried rice, hainan chicken rice, tomato fish, and happy clay pot entrees. Each dish was quite large such that all 9 of us were able to try generous portions of each dish. And then we got two servings of the mango sticky rice to share and the mango was amazingly sweet! I did not try their boba drinks, but a few of my friends ordered drinks and enjoyed them. Their boba drinks are sized quite large as well. I will say, the meat doesn't necessarily taste like the meat it purports to imitate, but the textures for the fake chicken and fish are pretty spot on! Service was friendly and helpful and they delivered the dishes at a good pace. The inside isn't fancy, but it's clean and well lit and spacious. I wish I had known about this hidden gem sooner, but they had a good clip of takeout orders and families coming in for dinner. Parking is also plentiful and easy in their large attached lot. I will be back!

It was super flavorful, perfectly spiced, and the "beef" texture was on point. I always order the Papaya Salad and typically love it, but today's sauce was a bit sweeter than usual. I still enjoyed the crispy green papaya and fresh basil, I just wish the sauce was the same as before. The Pad Thai was not for me. While the portion was huge, it didn't have the flavor and authenticity I was expecting. I wouldn't order it again and gave it away since I didn't plan on eating more. The vegan fried rolls were good and they arrived crispy, but I wouldn't get them again because the inside had something sweet, and I didn't like the sauce. I'll still order from here because I like most dishes I've tried, but there are definitely some items I ordered today that I won't be getting again.

I ordered it because of fellow yelper said it wasn't as heavy as others and they didn't like masa so I got a tamale. omg! this tamalia is fantastic. it's the lightest masa I've ever had and I've lived in Mexico. I don't know how they do it. very delicious! if you even kind of like tamales order one of these off the appetizer menu it's a go-to. I got the chicken one and I put a little green salsa on it and it's heaven show. then I got the pachucho, one pavel and one steak. it's the second paville I've had on my trip here and what made this one. fantastic is the base of this is what pabile needs and they hit everything right with the case of fresco the onions. it could have used a few more onions, but every bite was like heaven. The steak was delish, very tender but I'm going to go back to the pibil every time. the base of these panchcos is kind of new to me. I don't know that it's Mayan Mexican or maybe El Salvadorian or maybe a creation of their own. they're delish. I received a small little container of green sauce and it was delicious as well
