There were only about five people ahead of us here, so we figured we'd be in and out with a couple of ready-made slices. Instead, it took nearly 30 minutes to get a single cheese slice that was already sitting behind the counter. The pizza itself was perfectly fine. The problem is the operation. There were around seven employees behind the counter, yet somehow everything moved at a glacial pace. One person took orders while a manager mostly stood around directing people to do tiny, unnecessary tasks instead of actually helping move the line. There was even someone dedicated to adding individual toppings to slices, painstakingly placing basil leaves one at a time, while dozens of customers waited. At one point, she even dropped a stack of pizza boxes, adding to the chaos. Meanwhile, slices would be ready but they'd call customers one at a time instead of handing out multiple completed orders. The result was a line of only five people turning into a backlog of roughly 25 people waiting for food. I've never seen a place with so many employees accomplish so little. If your business model is selling ready-made pizza by the slice, customers should not be waiting half an hour. The food wasn't bad, but the operational inefficiency was so frustrating that I wouldn't come back.
