    Fat as ceaser salad

Horrible services first time going to this location and the served me a ceaser salad with the most smallest chicken thighs ever like yo this is not funny and then the person in charge dare tell me wife that everyone has been complaining about the chicken so why tf don't you say something when we paying btw it was 56 mf dollars for a salad and power bowl chicken and a kids meal and she told her that she can refund her the salad but not hers because she chose the healthier plate like what are you saying! This was a horrible experience never again NANDOS GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER AND TO EVERYONE ELSE GO TO POLLO RICO OR POPEYES CAUSE THIS AINT IT

I was actually super impressed with Nando's! I'd only had it catered at work so I didn't know what to expect eating in the actual restaurant. I thought it'd be more casual but it was really cool inside, they had a bar and the servers still come to your table even though you order online. We just made the happy hour window, and the happy hour has such amazing prices!! Got a really nice pour of their house wine and I think it was only $5 or $6. Their bowls were delicious, so refreshing and it's a good portion too! Love that they have a bunch of sauce options to add as well. I hope to return soon!

Nandos is so good and omg the sauces they have are a lovely addition! I love a good piece of chicken and they deliver just that. Food always comes out quick, fresh, and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive as well. I've been to several locations and never been disappointed. Today's review features a piece of heart shaped chicken!

Food was amazing, perfect portion size. We ordered at 10pm and the food was fresh and had good flavor. I got medium peri peri on a 1/4 leg with portuguese rice. This was our first time having peri peri and dining at Nando's. The service was not as good as the food unfortunately. We told the hostess we were dining in, she pointed at the table from across the restaurant instead of walking us. Then we were at the table waiting to order with no words, as she hadn't given us the card with the QR code. We're not from here so we weren't familiar with the protocol. She brought our food but didn't give us eating utensils until the last person's order came. Forgot half of one person's order and they had to ask her for it. Hopefully this was a one off experience and they were just tired. Food was excellent though, will try again next time we're in town.

Portuguese Chicken with South Africa flavor I live for and love Nando's Spicy good chicken, excellent chicken salad bowls, tasty fries, and killer tart desserts. Plus, their sangria is different a plus in my book Everything so colorful and vibrant. Just as good are their varying degrees of spicy sauce. It's a fast casual establishment, with a fun atmosphere with excellent music. You order upfront at the register and the food is delivered to your table when it's ready. I like to order half a chicken with fries to share with a friend or a family member, this is a good price option. I've just heard they are offering a new bowl involving macaroni and cheese, a delicious favorite called PERi Mac madness. I've yet to try it and I'll report back once I've have enjoyed this new item. Once I have, I'll also add more information about it and pictures. Please like, follow and comment,

Location was easy to get too. Spacious restaurant, friendly staff and menu was simple yet easy to order. Choose to order at the counter or use QR code. Quick service, fresh ingredients, flavorful and made to order.

This isn't the first Nando's I've ever been to, but it is the one I normally frequent when I'm in the office and have a hankering for grilled chicken. I like the boneless butterflied breast - still has the skin on and they grill it right, with the skin crispy but the breast is still juicy. They have an array of sauces to fit every heat profile; I like to mix the garlic with medium heat and then add a little of the hot to make for a nice, flavorful dip with a bit of heat to it. You have the option of ordering via the app or ordering at the register; eat-in or takeout, you have your choice. I usually eat in; they have real plates and flatware and glasses if you're eating in. If you're doing that, you can either order via the app or at the register and they'll bring it to your table. I order the same thing usually - the boneless breast grilled plain, rice and cole slaw. Just the right amount of spice, and the cole slaw does a great job of cooling off that heat. The restaurant itself is nice - bright colors, some info bits about the origins of the cuisine (Afro-Portuguese as they call it) and the food always tastes good and comes out more or less perfectly. They also keep it clean. The customer service is on-point as well; everyone knows their job and they're efficient.

I love Nando's and I love how spacious this spot is! Ordering is so easy through the app for dine-in. Just put in your table number and your delicious food arrives shortly. I got the quarter breast with medium heat, fries, and garlic bread. I also love their medium heat with herbs sauce! The service was great and we were well taken care of!

The food was awful. The chicken was unfavorable and dry, the Mac and cheese was bland and tasted like it came out a craft Mac and cheese box . The garlic bread wasn't bad, but was like but bread Texas toast. The Ambiance is only ok. The service was awesome and the only reason this place doesn't get 1 star. Great service, but terrible food.

The young nice lady who took my order was great. It was my first time trying this restaurant and she gave me some recommendations. I tried the xtra HOT. Was perfect for me. Loved the flavor of the chicken and was very tender.

They call this 3 portion of 3 Chicken Thighs

I went yesterday cause my daughter friend from Las Vegas had a good experience the last time she visit us, so she ask if we could eat at Nando's. We usually go to Bethesda Row but since the Pike And Rose was closer to home we decided to go at Pike's. Staff are ok, especially the cashier. Chicken is dry and the portion is bad. My daughter and I order 3 thighs and a side, but the portion of chicken thigh was cut in half and counted as 2 portion. McDonald's Chi Ken nuggets has a bigger portion that what we got. And mine cost $16 for 2 sides..... I'm not a big eater but I didn't even feel satisfied to say at least. Not coming back at this location.

    Early dinner @ Nando's! Yummm

The awning outside needs refurbishment and inside furniture is not updated. It's dark inside, almost like a night club. Perhaps it is sometimes. I did not like the decor, it was a little run down and honestly did not match up to the prices. The service was also disappointing. I felt that staff lacked a bit of professionalism and they rarely checked on us. The plates are huge. That is a plus. My partner ordered the goat and I tried the red snapper. I think one plate is big enough to share. I like the spinach, but everything needed a bit of salt. While the red snapper was coated in a lovely tomato and red pepper gravy, I felt it made the crispyness of the fried fish disappear and it was kind of soggy. Maybe you can ask for the gravy on the side. The food is not bad, but given the physical establishment and the service I wouldn't return.

There are some gorgeous pieces of beaded jewelry, artwork, clothing, and more in this store. This is an authentic African collection store so you can find just about anything that you'd like that will relate to your African roots. Mr. Kwame was really pleasant, friendly, he engaged his customers, and he just innately knew what we liked or what he thought would be pretty on us. Blue is my favorite color and he picked out this wonderful dress and I fell in love with it instantly. It fits well, has pockets, and a belt to match. My daughter came into the store and before she could begin to browse, he took one look at her, pulled the mannequin inside, and removed the dress from it. He gave it to her with a humble, rather gorgeous smile, and said, "This was made just for you." She turned to see that it was the dress from the mannequin and once again the words, "I love it!," were squeaked into the air. She went to the fitting room to try it on and it fit very well. So we bought it! She wore the dress right out of the store. I changed into mine later and pinned my hair up with the beaded hair pin. Mrs. Sandy got the orange and yellow dress with a bracelet. She absolutely loved that too. You cannot go wrong in this store. I really thought that he was not going to have anything to fit me because I have such large bosoms, however he did. It surprised me. I highly recommend this establishment. Tell Mr. Kwame that the "Shawn, Lady in Blue" sent you. LoL! 5 Stars.

The patio is empty but every table has very clearly been dirty and left for an indiscernible amount of time. The inside also has tables scattered all over that need to be clear but have been sitting for who knows how long. There's maybe 6-8 people TOPS between the 2 tables inside and a couple people at the register,in the whole place. I go to the front, the woman asks if we need a table, I said yes and we would like to sit on the patio. She tells me it's going to be 15-20min. I let her know there's nobody currently on the patio and tables are open. She tells me that not for a wait, that's how long it will take TO CLEAR A TABLE--15-20min to clear and reset a single booth on the patio. Keep in mind, places like Guapos down the way, that are packed to the brim, have 25min wait if you Specifically want patio seating but that's because it's literally full and the inside has a 10-15min wait because it too, is literally full but here we are, in a place that was probably busy 40+ minutes ago, now with just over a half dozen humans in the building, tell me it's gonna take 15+ minutes to walk over with a bus tub, throw everything in, wipe a table and wipe the seats...on a party of 2. I had even offered to clear my own table (hell, I'd have cleared one for the other couple, too) and was told "it's necessary to wait 15-20min" I glance over at the waiting area and there's a single 2 top who I assume was also just told the same thing and they look to be debating on just leaving. We start debating on leaving. I watch the host go back to standing at the podium, no guests in line, she's not getting anyone to clear anything and again, that's abundantly clear that nobody has been clearing tables for at least 30+ minutes, she's not personally going to start helping clear which is standard in restaurants when there's no rush at the door. We decide this is a sh*t show and leave. This is also right up there with 2x I've ordered for pickup, waited the 30-60min, come to pick it up and not a single aspect of the order was done....why?....im told "we ran out of chicken"--no call to see about changing the order or cancelling, nothing. We enjoy nandos food. That isn't the issue at all. The service has gone WAY downhill over the past few years. As someone in the industry, currently in a 1Star fine dining venue in DC, and someone attempting to be a patron, it's disgusting to have a sea of tables left sitting for what is very clearly long periods of time. It's ridiculous that it would take anyone 15+ minutes to clear people's trash and wipe/reset a single table--that wouldn't be acceptable if it was slammed to the gills, so for the place to be empty as it was, it's either incompetence, laziness, lack of leadership leader or any/all of the 3. Extremely unimpressed and further reinforcing why I had avoided nandos since the 2 prior times, my orders were left for me to discover....a chicken place....had no chicken and let me come in at my pickup time to discover I have no food. Last night was my "give another shot" moment. I have literally overseen A "charity diner" comepltely run by kids 12-15 and with 30minutes training and the fact they've been out to eat with their parents, managed to run the diner for ~80 cover without a hiccup at the host stand or the entire FOH and BOH. So why grown people in nandos struggle with this, is perplexing. I think places get way too comfortable resting on their name recognition and in trade, throw anything resembling service out the window. I expect that from monopolistic mega-corporations and banks not a restaurant. The economy is bad, times are weird, people are choosing how to spend their finite time and dollars--if you can't clear the most basic bar that anyone from French Laundry to Waffle House or the random roadside diner all clear, you are failing and need to do better.

To begin, our party of four was running a hair past the 15 minute grace period for our reservation, and when we called to inform the restaurant of our slight delay the hostess curtly responded with "we will see what we can do." I understand the possibly of not being accommodated, but the wording and tone could have been a bit more professional. Once we were seated, our waiter explained the menu and offered suggestions. There appeared to be a pressure to upsell specific dishes, as the waiter constantly mentioned that we should order the branzino dish, even when we informed him that someone at our table possessed an allergy to a key ingredient in the dish. The cocktails here are mostly priced above $20, and possessed gob standard flavor profiles which did not merit the price nor impress the palate. In contrast, we genuinely enjoyed the majority of the food sampled. The flavor profiles here are spice forward and the restaurant does not shy away from bold seasoning or heat. The dishes are, mostly, technically well executed. The Ben's chili bowl which brought crispy shingles of lamb atop a spicy chickpea curry, ranked among our favorites of the evening. The hoe crab paired fluffy, buttery corn pancakes with a well spiced crock of tender, lump crab meat, making for a light yet flavorful bite. Our pork belly dish had tender meat paired well with a sweet-sour tamarind glaze. The fish fry tasted comforting with a juicy yet crisp fish fillet alongside house-made spicy sauces. The beef tartare possessed a discernible curry flavor, though the bite was marred with a few pieces of gristle. The oxtails brought the requisite meltingly tender texture, though the sauce served alongside ate salty and rich. We ended with the turmeric cheesecake which, while creamy, lacked turmeric flavor and had either some sort of inedible garnish or, worse, a piece of paper on the plate. Note should be mentioned that some of the portions here are appallingly tiny for the price. For example, the hoe crab dish brings four silver dollar pancakes and 3-4 small spoons of crab for $38. The oxtail patties are priced at $16 for two thumb sized pastries. While I am not opposed to paying top dollar for quality cuisine, the lack of polish on the service end creates a disconnect. In addition to the brusque phone interaction and upsell pressure, we also had incorrect plates constantly dropped off at the table. Worst of all, we were abruptly and unapologetically asked to leave our table while finishing our last round of cocktails. Two stars may seem harsh, but restaurants are a hospitality based business and the lack of service warmth was palpable. The food was generally great here, but sky high prices, minute portions, and rough service prevent a return visit.

I usually come in asking for GiGi because she always takes great care of us but she wasn't at work yet. Fortunately we got to meet a new favorite (I don't remember her telling us her name but we will always remember the face)! There's a new manager who checked in on us? The moment we sat down We were all confused but it was the joke for the night! We never get dessert (the portions are very generous) but this visit we just had a few apps because we had dinner plans somewhere else. We ordered cheesecake, caramel cake and ice cream to share. THAT CARAMEL CAKE?? Amazing!! I got an extra slice to go! Then GiGi saw us leaving out so that was the whip cream on the cake ahaha!

3/5 stars My…read moreboyfriend is Cameroonian and we love trying different African restaurants around the DC area. I'd heard great things about The Continent, so it felt like a must-try especially since Swahili Village is one of our go-to favorites for comparison. The space itself was great, nice interior, well-decorated, and service was solid throughout. They also had two distinct vibes going: one side had a bit of a DJ/lounge energy, while the other was more elegant and laid-back, better for actual dinner conversation. We sat on the calmer side. Drinks were good. We had a sangria and a tequila-based cocktail, both solid. For appetizers, we got the shrimp and the beef samosas. Unfortunately, the beef samosas just didn't hold up compared to Swahili Village's. I've had Swahili Village's beef samosas multiple times and they always come out hot, crispy, and consistent. These didn't quite match up, and that was strike one for me. The shrimp appetizer was nice, good sauce, though it could've used a bit more depth of flavor. I also ordered the pepper soup, which was excellent and genuinely spicy (more than I could really handle, but I still finished it). For entrées, my boyfriend got the Suya with jollof rice, and I got the red snapper with jollof rice as well. He really enjoyed his. The beef was cooked well and flavorful, and the jollof rice was good. My fish was also cooked nicely, though the sauce needed a bit more flavor. The bigger issue: they were out of plantains. That was strike two, and it stung more because it was my boyfriend's birthday dinner and plantains are his favorite. It's rare for an African or Caribbean restaurant to run out of them entirely. Overall, a decent experience, but with the high expectations going in, a couple of misses kept it from fully living up to the hype for us. I'd go back for the pepper soup and give it another shot, but I'm hoping for hotter, fresher samosas and actual plantains next time.

I didn't realize where the restaurant was located beforehand, so I was a little surprised when I arrived. It's in a very urban area, which may or may not matter depending on your comfort level. There was a decent amount of seating inside if you choose to dine in. The restaurant was okay in terms of cleanliness, but personally, I'd opt for takeout. I originally planned to eat inside but changed my mind once I got there. Unfortunately, the customer service wasn't the best. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, and when I received my order, the takeout container wasn't fully closed and was placed halfway into the bag. I'm not sure if it was just an oversight, but it didn't leave the best first impression. Now, the food, that's where they won me over. Everything was well-seasoned, and the suya had just the right amount of spice. They were out of the vegetable I originally wanted, but I'm actually glad I tried the corn because it was absolutely delicious. And that suya butter sauce? It was the star of the meal! Overall, while the location and customer service weren't my favorite, the food was flavorful enough that I'd come back if I were in the area and craving suya.
