I have been craving for their hot peri peri chicken. Honestly, one of the best chicken, which is nice and juicy and flavorful. Add a little extra of their delicious sauce over the chicken and it's even more yummy. Heard good things about their wings so I tried their mango lime but I was so disappointed with them...micro sized wings, tough and flavorless. I will definitely not call them charbroiled, it was close to burnt. If you ask me, I would stick with 1/2 or 1/4 instead of the wings. Delicious chicken and sides without being overly priced. Only problem was being charged a dollar for extra perinaise sauce.

Always a great go-to when in the Towson area. Although known most for their chicken dishes (which are all great) I usually opt for vegan options like the portobello/halloumi mushroom wrap, macho peas and Portuguese rice. 4.5/5 I came here with a few friends after going to the movies, and it was great! The service is fantastic. Since we were all new to the restaurant, the servers explained how it works. Once you order at the register, they bring out the food, and you can go to their sauce bar and pick from a wide variety of sauces to dip the chicken in. Most of the sauces that I tried were pretty lime-y, so if you don't like that, you can just eat it plain or dip with ketchup. My group of four ordered two Jumbo Chicken Platters, which comes with two whole chickens and two extra large sides. We ordered fries and rice for our sides, and while the fries were great, the rice was just eh, kinda bland. The chicken was well-seasoned, so it didn't really need a dipping sauce, and they were also really big, so we had to take a few to-go boxes home. We also got hummus as an appetizer, which was really good. Overall, I would probably return here because the food was good, and it's close to the movies. Also, if it's your first time at Nando's, you can tell the cashier, and they'll give you a coupon for a discount or free appetizer! read more

I'm not new to Nando's. I come here when I want a flavorful upgrade to my barely seasoned chicken at home. They marinate their chicken for 24 hours. Chicken is tasty and their side dishes are okay. I tried the chicken skewers and grilled corn this time. Skewers were nice and crispy and plenty for 1 person. EVERYTIME, I order the grilled corn it takes at least 15 minutes to come to the table. It's not worth the wait. I've tried other side dishes like: peri peri chips (fries), seasonal veggies and butter squash/corn and the Portuguese rice. Again, the sides are okay. The fino sides are more flavorful. If you love chicken, you can't go wrong with this place. They serve chicken in many different ways: chicken salad, chicken burger, chicken wings, chicken liver... I could go on and on. Plus, they offer vegetarian opinions for the non-chicken lovers. Mostly la carte items. This is not a typical fast food restaurant. Food: this was my second time going to Nando's and I actually enjoyed the restaurant more the second time! My family and I had gotten the jumbo chicken platter with 2 orders of rice as sides, and a chicken Cesar salad. The chicken flavors we got were lemon herb and hot. Both were really good! Honestly, the sauces are what really made me love the meal. The side sauces that they provide are so good I almost bought a bottle. The garlic sauce is MONEY! I put it on everything. The salad was good, I got planish chicken which was really tasty, the salad part was pretty standard. Not bad but it didn't blow my mind. My only complaint about my meal would be that there were times where I would bite on a grain of rice that wasn't cooked. It would catch me off guard and kinda ruin the rice for me at times. Overall, all of the food was very well seasoned and full of different flavors. It's a flavorful restaurant that's something different, and better than dominos. Service: the service we had was awesome! The cashier was nice and the man who served our table was outstanding. I believe he was a manager but he was fantastic. Super friendly and a great waiter. I would come back just for this guy. Other: the decor of this place is my absolute favorite. It is so cute and unique! I have never seen another place decorated like that before. I brought my mom to her first Nando's and she really enjoyed it. Maybe I haven't been to enough Nando's but we didn't like getting greeted at the door and being sat at a table. We wanted to walk in, grab a menu and seat ourself. Anyway, after getting seated, we ordered, sat down and in under 10 minutes our food was out on the table. We shared a half chicken and two sides and it was very good. We also got some olives to share before our meal. The sides we got were coleslaw and mashed potatoes and we very much enjoyed our meal. The chicken was delicious and moist and the sides were very good. It wasn't our favorite coleslaw but it was pretty good. We also tried a lot of their sauces and they were all delicious. Shortly after we were finished, a man came over and cleared our plates and that was it! If you want to be in and out you can with service this good, or if you want to take your time with your meal that goes here too. We came on a weekday lunch hour and it was decently busy. read more

You can NEVER go wrong with Nando's..my boyfriend and I were starving, so we decided to get some bc I hadn't had it in a while. I ordered the quarter dark with the extra hot sauce, which wasn't scorching hot like I thought it would be, so I was a little disappointed..but nonetheless it was still yummy. He went with the mango lime and lemon & herb sauces if I'm not mistaken. I would upload photos of our after plates, but I don't want to embarrass us like that. I also opted for their spiked pineapple lemonade initially, but it wasn't my favorite, so I traded it out for a Corona. Can't go wrong with a Corona, I should've just ordered that in the first place! But the servers were very nice and switched it out without any problems. My only issue with this specific location was the parking. Hated that we had to park all the way across the street in a garage and walk over. But I quickly remembered I needed to get my steps in for the day! Just opened! Right in front of the new Towson Cinemark movie theater! (Cannot really see from Joppa Road, but it's back there behind the construction) No parking in front of restaurant, I recommend parking in the new garage that is on the side of the theater, taking the elevator to the third floor then walking out the front doors of the theater, then it is right there. But lets talk food... OMG! This place is so delicious and is a dip lovers paradise! I love sauces and dips and this place allows you to order one to be put on your chicken when it comes out but also allows you to bring as many sauces to your table to try out and slather on... needless to say we had one of each, and every one was equally delicious and spicy (you could opt out of spice but that probably means no sauce, the Lemon Herb was probably the least spicy). This place is known for their Portuguese chicken, I got the "1/4 Chicken - Leg" for lunch and it was the perfect portion, but remember the bone is in, so it gets a little messy. The chicken is so tender, juicy and spicy! My coworkers got salads and they looked amazing with dark greens. The grilled corn was delicious, it is on the cob though, so be prepared to get a little messy again, oh and I definitely put some of the sauces on there! I don't love peas, but the mashed peas were pretty good! The garlic bread however was my favorite! It is soft and gooey and so delicious and you get two pieces for one side order! The hummus was also ordered for the table and it was awesome, and came with an abundance of pita, which is usually skimped on at most restaurants! We had great service... there are no servers though, you get seated, then go to the counter to order, then they bring your food out to you... you are responsible for getting sauces/condiments, drinks, and silver wear for yourself but if you forget someone will most likely get it for you. I am so glad this place opened so close to my work, I will definitely frequent here often, and they give you a punch card for a free meal after so many punches! We decided to go out of town for lunch and I'd wanted to try Nando's Peri-Peri out. While I remembered the reviews, I failed to remember the parking situation. Luckily the garage ($5 parking) is connected to the building... for those not familiar with the area. So you go in, wait to be greeted, seated, you walk up to the counter, place your order, pay, and your meal will brought to you. The menu is small but I can appreciate that. Since this was my first time I decided to go with their 1/4 Plain-ish chicken. Phenomenal! I'm a little upset that I didn't buy any marinade/ sauces. The sangria was just OK. This is the newest Restaurant in Towson and a truly new experience for me in the way of food. I really didn't know what to expect when coming here. Just about everything on the menu looks amazing if you are a lover of chicken. The spices on the food are fantastic too. Even for you non chicken lovers out there they offer a steak sandwich. In terms of ambiance, its very much hustle and bustle, very crowded yet things move quickly while loud music is playing. It may feel like its difficult to hold an intimate conversation but if you are looking for party central this is it. The style of the restaurant blends that of a sit down restaurant with informative, friendly and helpful servers and cashiers while at the same time making it quick and easy like at noodles and company. With so many great dishes to choose from I settled on the Nando's choice. The portion size was so big I couldn't finish my fries after the big sandwich I got on garlic bread. I got a side Cesar salad thinking the meal wouldn't be that big. I can honestly say the serving size is worth the price. Everything is very affordable too for every size appetite. The flavor of the chicken was spot on, very juicy and i asked mine to be basted in medium heat sauce which by the way is just spicy enough, not too hot for anyone. I may actually go for hot next time. The sides are made really well, especially the side salad I got. For a fast casual place they really have it together here. The wings were okay but they tasted a little burnt. Maybe that's how they're supposed to be, but I did not love them. The salad was fine. I thought the chicken was a little spicy. The entire time I was eating it I was wondering what was so spicy and then I realized it was the chicken in the salad- Not the wings, or the dressings. Overall, I had a good time with friends. With this being my first foray into either Portuguese or South African food, I arrived here curious, and left as an enthusiast. They do things their own way but they do them so right. The walls are covered with hundreds of tiny pieces of imported artwork, and there's a cool, flavella (or the South African equivalent) air to the place. It's very exact and deliberate in its pursuit of seeming thrown together and shabby/sparse, using wood in a way that Chipotle uses brushed steel. The chicken is great, up there with Peruvian pollo a la brasa, and they have a variety of sauces that taste amazing and unlike anything I've had elsewhere. I'm struggling describe the one I had...hot enough to make me sweat, acidic/tart, with a nice aftertaste and a manageable burn. I got a side of "macho peas" which was a good idea in order to give my mouth something milder as a break, when needed. They also let you get unlimited frozen yogurt if you need a more forceful anti-spice solution, but I didn't personally partake in that mid-meal dessert. Sodas and teas are free refill, with the former dispensed from those newfangled machines where everything is customizable. I'll be making the trip back to this place soon. It was a rainy and dreary quarantine day and I wanted to try a new delivery place. I actually heard about this place while watching "The Try Guys" on YouTube. The food was delicious. I mean fresh and not overly processed. My wife ordered the Thigh & Mighty Sandwich (plain) with a side of coleslaw and I ordered the Nandoca's Choice Sandwich (medium) with a side of chips (fries). The chicken tasted like it was fresh off the grill. Reminded me of a cookout. The coleslaw was fresh and creamy. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I couldn't find any faults with the food. The only critique i would say is I wish the garlic bun on my sandwich had more garlic flavor. Other than that I would say this is by far my favorite DoorDash delivery restaurant. They have so many options on their menu! I can't wait to try them all. Nando's hits the spot for me every time I am looking for some delicious, filling food with a great price. I've been here plenty of times ever since it opened and I have not had any major complaints. Nando's decor is always on point for a casual vibe and I love the clear glass on the roof that lets in natural sunlight during the day. It's the perfect, relaxed spot to grab lunch or dinner after a day strolling around Towson. I like that you have control over the flavor/spiciness of your chicken as well as the choices of your side dishes. Drink choices are wide bc they have that cool soda fountain that has every single drinks imaginable. Dessert options are small limited to items like cakes/cupcakes, cheesecake, icecream but they have these precious little eggtarts called "Naughty Natas" and they are true gems. I just wish that they are served warm because they would be even more delicious. Other recommendations: All of the chicken/marinade. Love nandos, especially this location is compared to the one in arundel mills. The seating just seems to be better to me and its more dimly lit. All the food is great here! I always leave full. The desserts are too expensive for me, over $3 for one cupcake is kind of insane--- and the cupcake is not super big or anything , so im always confused about that. But my fave thing that i always get--- 1/4 chicken breast with mango lime seasoning. Mash potatoes and garlic bread! And also, when u pay and you are a person who really likes to tip, just right it into your receipt or leave cash on the table. The servers really dont have a roll other than taking your plate away -- they dont even get your drinks, So use your discretion when tipping. read more

Wonderful customer service and really delicious food. I'd absolutely come back. I was particularly excited to see several vegetarian options. I had the mushroom haloomi wrap along with a side of garlic bread and roasted corn. Everything was so good! I only opted for water but all of their lemonades looked delicious so that's definitely something I'll try next time. Spice wise, Medium was perfect for some extra flavour without making me feel like my mouth was on fire. I have been very reluctant to write a negative review during Covid. With restaurants struggling, they deserve a break and I have been generous with my ratings. This, however, involves safety and I think it is important to let people know. We ordered chicken to go at lunch time but did not eat it until dinner. It was put right into the refrigerator and then re-heated (covered) for a half hour at 250 degrees and then broiled to crisp the skin for another 5 minutes. When we cut into the thigh meat, it was raw inside. The breast also had an under done spot inside although not as extensive. Do they not take temperatures at this chain? This is scary...and rather revolting. Needless to say, we won't be back. (and I was a big fan of the Annapolis location when I lived there) read more
