6/20/2026 Lacaphe…read morewas our last stop of the day, and I'm so glad we ended here! The place was packed, but the line moved quickly. We ordered the Saigon Freeze, Muoi, and COCO Freeze. My Saigon Freeze was hands‑down the best--like a super tasty Frappuccino. My sisters got the Muoi, which was really good but a little strong, and my sister's boyfriend got the COCO Freeze, which wasn't my favorite only because I'm not a coconut person. There were plenty of places to sit, and the vibe was super chill with a mix of families and people just hanging out. Everyone kept talking about how good my drink was--it really was that good! If I'm ever in San Jose again, I'm 100% coming back just for that Saigon Freeze.

PARKING: Lots of parking inside a plaza, but could be very hard to find a space if it is super busy. PLACE: Spacious & lots of tables and chairs to sit at, you place your order on a kiosk or you can order through the cashier. You pick up at the counter, and they send a text when it's ready but if it's busy they just call your name instead. DRINKS: Lychee - wasn't super sweet since I chose 50% but great lychee taste and there's lychee inside of the drink! Kumquat - My mouth got numb after lol but it was super good, reminds me so much of calamansi. Decent place to get some coffee or drinks!

Finally visited and so very glad we did!! * Location: Cafe is just off Alum Rock Ave in the heart of Little Portugal. Cafe has a small parking lot, plenty of street parking as well. * Interior: Snug, warm, & welcoming.! Cafe layout is efficient & practical with ordering counter/food prep area, tables for guests (some outdoor seating available as well), and TV views for local news & futbol. * Menu is concise but tasty (coffee, tea, sandwiches, sweets, soft drinks, beer, wine) * Owner is incredibly kind, made us feel at home, & described his magic to pulling espresso just right. * Food & Drink: Simple& incredibly tasty! We tried 1 ham & cheese sandwich (toasted & warm), 1 tuna sandwich, 2 espressos. Everything was even better than we'd hoped for and the mouthwatering photos we saw pre-visit were 100% accurate. Tips: 1. Cafe is cash & Venmo only; 2. Leave room to try the desserts!! Can't wait to go back & try more!

Truly a hidden gem of a place…read more Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner and told about some of the menu. The prices range from $4-$7 and that is very cheap. The whole vibe of the place is relaxed and like a European cafe. The coffee even tasted like European espresso. It was perfect. They do take card. I ordered the linguica sandwich with tomatoes and onions and let me tell you, extremely well balanced sandwich. A little acid from the juicy tomato (not watery) salt and spices from the linguica, butter, and a light fluffy but crispy roll was amazing. He delivered the food to our table one by one and I wouldn't say he was hustling but was working effectively while chatting with what seemed to be regular customers. Extremely friendly and relaxed. I think that it's nice that it's a "pay when you're ready" kind of place rather than a "pay upfront". It adds a lot to the laid back atmosphere. If we are in the area, we'll 100% come back as there's not many places that have the European cafe vibe in the Bay Area.

I could barely taste the egg cream and the coffee cream. The only thing that was disappointing about the drink was that the cups were literally filled with ice to the top. Ice was sticking out on top, and not because they were floating; the ice was literally stacked to the top that's why it was sticking out. So the amount of drink in the cup was hardly anything. It could be finished in minutes. The combination of both drinks probably could equal one drink! Haha When I ordered with the cashier, he didn't ask about how much ice I wanted , so not even sure if that was an option. Also, the cashier didn't seem like he enjoyed his job. When I said I wanted the BOGO, he just immediately entered it and the screen went to the payment. I had to tell him that I wanted one with egg cream and the other with the coffee cream. So he had to fix it. I did originally go to the kiosk to order, but for some reason when I tried ordering the BOGO, it wouldn't work. So since there was no one in line, I went up to the cashier to order and pay.

It's my first time at this location and there's plenty of parking right outside. The store is so spacious. There were people studying and playing card games. Perfect place to sit and yapp where it's not overwhelming. It was a vibe in there and it's super clean as well. We easily ordered on the kiosk. There were so many great options to choose from. I ordered the double matcha and my friend got the hojicha. The drinks came out in 5 minutes. The double matcha was so good. Just the right creaminess and sweetness (I got regular sugar). Definitely coming back :)

Temperatures were…read morejust under 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside, so I was in the market for a place where I could get a refreshing drink that had decent WiFi and good air conditioning. It was a Wednesday and Devin and I were looking to make it a productive work day. We stopped by later in the afternoon. There is ample seating but most of the booths were occupied when we arrived so we sat at a table. Club music was being played loudly so working here would not be ideal if you have to present in meetings. The tropical paradise fruit tea would've been better with a topping or two, but in an attempt to cut down on calories consumed I've began getting drinks without toppings. Unfortunately fruit tea without toppings is just not the same, but this was totally my choice and on me. The WiFi worked well. There are some outlets under the booths but none at the tables. I've been to other Rose Tea Lounge locations and I'd say that this one is definitely more club-like than others. Not the ideal place to work remotely by any means, but that's not to say that the drinks are bad or ambiance is poor. If you're looking to chat and catch up with friends, this spot would be a good choice.

I was surprised to see some unique dishes I didn't see on other Vietnamese restaurant menus like balut and a variety of spring rolls.  I have officially found my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Vietnam Town! Table missing a lot of things, no water, no utensil, no condiments, no refill. Table is wet by water rings from previous tables and 2 waiters come take order but not one clean it up. Sugarcane juice taste old! But salted coffee is good. Fried chicken is ok. Chicken balut is ok but the sauce is too sour.
