Mango lassi
Kanak G.

This thing looks like it understood the assignment and then arrived in full Shah Rukh Khan 90s charisma: dramatic, sweet, impossible to ignore, and somehow both over-the-top and perfect at the same time. The mango is rich and velvety, the color alone promising grandeur before the first sip even lands, and that swirl on top feels like the beverage equivalent of a cinematic entrance. It is not merely a mango lassi; it is a full performance. Like Baadshah, it has flair. It has confidence. It has that slightly extra quality that stops being "too much" and becomes exactly right. Creamy, bright, and indulgent, it hits with the same kind of joyful energy that made those 90s SRK moments so iconic. One sip in, and suddenly life has background music. This mango lassi does not ask for attention. It commands it. Five stars, a standing ovation, and possibly its own title card.

Good indo-chinese food, nice ambience and quick service. Plenty of free parking. Mango lassi is great!

Chicken 65

My third time here and the place is great. Tucked away in a small plaza with plenty of parking is this gem of a restaurant. Chicken 65 is flavorful. Their paneer tikka masala is perfection. The biryani is everything I could ever ask for. I got the chicken one and it's great. Come here for their buffet! They got a nice selection and if they have something not on their buffet menu--you can order from the menu as well. Their mango lassi is so good. Arguably the best one I've ever had at all of the Indian restaurants I've been to. I dream about this from time to time. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating. There's a TV showcasing music videos. Right now it's FIFA season, there's a soccer game playing. It's clean here. Service here is great. They're very polite and very attentive to your table. If you are looking for an Indian restaurant to go to--COME HERE!

Quick review: most things were pretty good. Vegetarian review: - paneer tikka masala: standard and good. - saag paneer: full of paneer - biryani: not as flavorful as I would have liked, but still not bad

Looking for a weekend buffet where you can try a bit of everything at a great price -- or just a fun family spot everyone will love? Nanking Indian Buffet hits the spot for just $20! A great variety -- curry chicken, fried rice, grilled drumsticks, and desserts like mango mousse and fresh fruit. We also tried their mango lassi -- super fresh and delicious! And the best part? The live band and performances! They sang happy birthday to a guest and had a beautiful dancer who engaged my little one -- she absolutely loved it! Such a special family memory. Ig: socalhkfoodies

We had dinner here the other night. There is plenty of available parking. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting. The service was very friendly. We started with a mango lassi to drink. It is a delicious yogurt smoothie and you will need it to help with some of the spices later on. We got a garlic naan and some paneer. The naan was huge and the paneer was warm and delicious. The two pair so well together. We got the Kung Pao Cashew Chicken. Spicy and delicious with lot of chicken and vegetables. We also got some steamed rice to go with this. The hakka noodles were next. These are lo mein noodles prepared Bombay style. A large portion and warm and comforting lo main. Last we got the chicken Szechuan momo. This is a Nepali dish. Momo is the word for dumplings. After this I only want my dumplings prepared Szechuan style. The delicious spices made me keep going back for more. A great place for Indo-Chinese food. It changed the way I look at Chinese food and the different ways to combine it with other cuisines.

This place is in a great corner spot. Plenty of parking when my friend and I got there! We got there right at opening, and everyone was very welcoming when we went in. As soon as we were seated they gave us waters, and they were able to give us great recommendations! It's a decently sized restaurant inside, they had light and dark contrasting colors, which is nice to see. Just a few things we ordered: Royal Lassi - this Mango yogurt drink is very smooth, and refreshing. I wouldn't mind having this as a dessert drink. Basamati Rice - I love rice, this was cooked perfectly, the best complement to the main meal. Kung Pao Cashew Chicken (dry) - this has to be my favorite version of Kung Pao chicken. The spices and seasonings were great. The chicken was tender. The veggies were amazing (water chestnuts are my favorite ) Chicken Szechuan Momos - oh my goodness, I can't with this dish, it's just too good. The chicken filling in the dish, just everything about it was amazing! Everything here, amazing, if you love Indian and Chinese food, please try this place out, you won't be disappointed!

The food was generally enjoyable and had a good balance of flavors. Some dishes stood out more than others, but everything seemed freshly prepared and presented nicely. Portions were reasonable, and there was enough variety to appeal to different tastes. A few items were especially memorable, while others were more standard. Overall, the meal met expectations and provided a pleasant dining experience. It's the kind of place that works well for a casual meal when you're looking for something satisfying without being overly complicated or extravagant.

There's no shortage of Indian food in Artesia, and for a long time, my friend group and I were loyal to just one spot. But we finally decided it was time to branch out and give the rest of the local Indian restaurants a fair shot. First up: Nanking--and wow, we may have just discovered a new favorite. This place is tucked away in an unsuspecting location--not directly visible from the street--but trust me, if you know, you know. And if you don't... you definitely should. What sets Nanking apart is that it's not just your standard Indian fare--this place specializes in Indo-Chinese fusion, and it's absolutely a win. The dishes brought out bold flavors, spice, and that perfectly craveable comfort food energy. Honestly, we were all shocked by how much we loved it. Everyone around the table was throwing out ratings like "20 out of 10." Favorites? That Paneer Chili Sizzler and the Hakka Noodles had me dreaming about them before we even left the table. The naan was pillowy perfection, and the okra and chicken tikka were both big hits. The service was quick and friendly, and the interior was unexpectedly sleek and upscale--clean, comfortable, and perfect for a group hangout or date night. Our server let us know that they do a weekend buffet with live entertainment, so you already know we'll be back for that. If you're in Artesia and haven't tried Nanking yet--make it your next stop. This spot deserves way more attention than it gets.

It was my first time here and overall everything was okay. The restaurant offers a mix of Indian and Asian dishes and when I came on the weekend it was buffet style. The buffet options could have been better and the mango drink they served was not really my favorite. The food was interesting but I probably would not come back. The best thing I tried was the garlic naan though it could have used a bit more salt. There was also a live band playing while I was there, and they had a very interesting sound, I will just say that.

We had no problems getting parking and we realized that we were the only customers in the restaurant that day. It seems that most people coming by were taking food to go. The decor inside was so bright blue and decorated with flags and various posters on the walls, with relaxing music playing in the background. Our server was friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Even the beer prices are good! We ordered so much food! *Samosa Chatt *Chicken Momo *Himalayan Mix Grill *Bread Basket *Chicken Tikka Masala *Chicken Curry Everything was delicious and had great flavors! My picky eater 2nd child had nothing but great things to say about everything we ordered (very rare) and ate up everything. We mentioned that we had nut allergies and our server said that they do not have any nut products in their food, even if the menu mentioned it, because of a lot of nut allergies with customers. My daughter had the vegetable korma (extra spicy) and I had the shrimp pakora and cheese pakora, my wife had Dahl soup. She also ordered naan bread and rice. Service is great always, friendly never have had a bad experience. The ambiance is fantastic, it makes you feel like you're back in the Nepal. So I guess you realize by now it's Nepalese food which is similar to Indian food but with its own unique characteristics. You can always talk to the owner the staff or the cooks they're happy to speak with you even if you don't speak Nepalese. You're need to try this place. It's fantastic and authentic especially for this area. They have a shop next door if you'd like to buy authentic Nepalese and Indian type of wear and items. Spicy to me is not their spicy...I have had spicy food in Indian and it was semi hot, here it is mild hot, even if you ask for super hot...not a complaint, just for those of you that are used to Carolina Reapers hahhaa

The India Restaurant is located in Artesia on the block with all of the amazing Indian restaurants…read more My boyfriend and I were somewhat in the area, and we made a slight detour to explore the area. This was such a great spontaneous discovery. They have a small parking lot in the front where we parked, but then we saw later on that they also have additional parking in the back if you don' see spots in the front. Upon entering the staff was welcoming. The gave us a few tables to choose from that were cleaned and appropriate for 2 people. I just want to say service was impeccable our whole time there. Everyone on their team took turns checking on us, making sure our waters were refilled, and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. So nice!! As we explored the menu, we saw the combination dinners that allowed us to get more variety, which we love. We both picked a different combo so we could share and try more things. My boyfriend enjoys tandoori so he went with the Mix Tandoori Grill ($26.95) that comes with an assortment of Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Seekh Kabab, Chicken Tikka, Fish Tikka served in a sizzling platter on a bed of onions with naan, rice, and gulab jamun. So much food! I picked the India Special ($24.95) which comes with chicken tikka, the choice of lamb or chicken curry which I opted for the chicken, veg, korma, raita, rice, naan, and gulab jamun. What a FEAST!! For the naan I asked for the garlic naan and it was INCREDIBLE. Wow! Might be THEE best Indian food I have ever enjoyed. Between the two of our orders I felt like I had the variety I have when I go eat at Indian buffets. My boyfriend loved the tandooris platter. All of the proteins were cooked perfectly. I assume they were prepped separately to get to the right cooking temp. So funny because my boyfriend was eating the rice while I was indulging in the naan. Dipping the naan in the curry and the korma. Nom Nom Nom! So fun and so delicious. My boyfriend was even saying this is one of the best meals he had in a while. I was so full when the gulab jamun dessert came out at the end but it was so delicious I still ate all of it. Without a doubt the best execution of this dessert I have ever had. We will definitely be back when we find ourselves craving Indian food.
