She is patient, dependable, and very attentive to my grandmother's daily needs, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Fanny helps with home-cooked meals, light tidying and organization, and most importantly, taking my grandmother to doctor's appointments and making sure everything runs smoothly. She communicates clearly in mandarin which has made my grandmother feel comfortable and respected. It's not easy to find someone who is both practical and genuinely caring, and Fanny has been exactly that. We're very grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to families looking for reliable part-time elder care. We highly recommend My Asian Nanny!

We have been using this nanny agency for almost 6 months. Having a live-in postpartum nanny help…read moreyou with your baby 18 hours a day sounds like a dream but sometimes can be more stressful than anything else. We have used 3 nannies from this agency so far and I had communication issues with all of them. The nannies are very stubborn and stuck in their own ways. They have a difficult time following direction and instead insist on doing things the way they want to. The first nanny we had was constantly making phone calls on the clock and refused to heat up the milk prior to feeding our baby. The second nanny was better, she helped keep our home tidy, and was good with our baby. She was probably the best nanny we had from this agency. Unfortunately, she injured her back and had to leave our family earlier than planned. Which brings us to our current and final nanny from this agency. She's a little older so she can't help carry the baby in her car seat up the stairs. She's often on her iPhone watching Chinese dramas. She also decided to hang up her dirty underwear and bra on our hallway bathroom towel rack. Additionally, she seems to have a lot of unsolicited advice on how we should dress our baby. She doesn't cook for us or do the baby's laundry. She doesn't even know how to follow directions ie shoves the nipple of the bottle in my bottle averse baby's mouth & ignored me when I told her "no". It doesn't seem that this agency takes the time to really vet out these nannies, instead hiring whomever applies. The agency also takes a while to respond to any text messages which is also incredibly frustrating. I highly recommend spending a little extra coin and using a different agency. Especially if you are a first time parent.

I had a great experience when I first went through this agency. I felt like Ashley and the team…read morewere absolutely wonderful. After 4 months, the family I had relocated 9 hours away for suddenly ended services. There was no discussion of anything going wrong and shortly before the end, had found out potential reasons as to how they most likely couldn't afford services anymore. It felt as though they were looking for a way out. At the first head, I contacted the agency addressing the situation quickly and they acted like they understood my side. As soon as things officially ended, whatever the family said to them, made me appear like I had done the worst thing imaginable. I have glowing references, have never had an issue with a family before or since, but Ashley did not help me with finding a new position, nor gave me the opportunity to talk about the situation again. I felt powerless and especially having had uprooted my whole life for this family, did not expect to experience an agency that did not support the nanny on top of that. I should have gotten 2 weeks pay because there was no reason for the treatment I received. It has been a year and I have since tried to reach out for potential families, applying, but I either get no response or, just like last week, an almost immediate email saying "The family has gone with another candidate," only to see the post on the website and up on their emails and social media, still very much active and seeking. It's disappointing to write this, as I had hoped the agency would have handled the situation with more integrity, ensuring I was heard, understanding the full picture, and helping me secure another placement. Nannies deserve protection. If a family can no longer afford services, that's understandable, but the way this unfolded left me in an incredibly disempowering position. If anyone is seeking an extremely qualified nanny with 15+ years' experience, newborns to 16-year-olds, private jet, UHNW, and fully staffed home, homeschooling, neurodivergent, behavior therapy and more experience, feel free to reach out! It's unfortunate when an agency holds so much power over a nanny's ability to connect with families. I share this to help others avoid a similar experience and to encourage seeking agencies that genuinely advocate for their nannies. It's in challenging moments that true colors show, and I must say, I am surprised, The Nanny League.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you end up using Michelle, it will ruin all other agencies for you…read more I am a professional career nanny. I have over seven years of nannying experience, five years of teaching experience, and more. I have a B/S in childhood development as well as my MAT. When I began my search for a nanny-family in LA, I did my due diligence by shopping around looking at multiple agencies. I found that Michelle had the TOP RATED AGENCY ON MULTIPLE SITES and wanted to take a closer look. I read through every. single. review. I thought to myself, "Really? Every single person had a positive experience with this agency? That's just not statistically possible if she's really working with this many people..." I decided to set up a meeting. I drove to her office where we met to discuss particulars (what I'm looking for, what families are in the market for a nanny right now, what ages/salary/commute/hours I'm looking for) and the moment she opened the door and greeted me with a giant smile and her upbeat, positive attitude, I felt like just working with HER was my perfect placement! Once we started the process, Michelle was completely professional while also refreshingly honest and realistic in her suggestions. She really took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for and she only suggested me to families that she knew had the potential to be a "love match!" After looking at a few potential matches, Michelle called me to tell me that she had "found my family!" She said, "This is the one. Please go for an interview and see for yourself." So I did. This is the part of the review where I'm going to get annoyingly emotional. Not only did the family and I immediately "click," but Michelle had made sure that all of our stats were in alignment. The age range, schedule, amount of hours, commuting time, pay rate, expectations and needs happened to all align with what I was looking for. It was LITERALLY the PERFECT PLACEMENT!!!! Coincidence? I think not. Michelle is highly intelligent, professional, personable, understanding, diligent, experienced, communicative, and pleasantly charismatic and I owe my job satisfaction directly to her. Now that I think about it, maybe I should send over a bottle of wine. Thank you, Michelle, for just being so incredibly good at what you do. As I mentioned earlier, when I started this process, I read through every one of your (5 star) reviews and thought, "There's just no way every single review can be five stars..." and now here I am adding one more.

It seemed like I had landed a few dream jobs only for it to slip away from me. Really trying times. Then I met Michelle! This brings a smile to my face. Meeting with her felt like chatting with a friend. I realized after that this is her skill. She loves people and wants to represent both the families and the nannies. It was a slow period and she didn't have any job opportunities at the time when I signed up with her agency, the perfect placement. After being on the hunt for my top nanny job with a kind family for many months and it wasn't happening I was getting ready to move out of state. I mentioned to Michelle that I'm no longer looking for a position as it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Michelle didn't give up on me. She called me with 2 opportunities. I went on both interviews and was called back to do a trial for the one that I wanted !! Yay !! Then Michelle negotiated some time off that I needed to take care of a health issue. The family was so wonderful they waited for me ! All I can say everything lined up perfectly. Michelle will always return your call in a timely manner and she always checks in to see how you're doing. I thank God I met Michelle !
