I have been eating here since I was 13 years old and the Night Fever soundtrack blasted from every car...the pizza was great then and now!!!! Their Sicilian pizza is the BEST hands down as well as their [hardly] regular slices. Since they deliver, they likely get more business than most other pizzerias for Brooklyn College functions, excepting the kosher factor, which is important considering the area. Quite good pizza, though the consensus among many peopel, most times, is that it's "kinda chewy", which I think is mainly due to a consistently thicker crust. Over or undercooked it will be that consistency. You'll go for extra slices though. So it makes you chew more than 2 times, preventing scarfing; what's wrong with that? Going back to delivery/functions, I ordered for several events, and not only did I get the large orders in time during pouring rain, but they added all the seasonings (garlic, basil/oregano, pepper flakes and pepper) in small plastic containers (which I forgot about), AND to go with the sodas, a bucket of clean ice for either putting the bottles on ice, or (along with the plastic scooper also included) putting ice IN drinks, and I didn't even ask about that. I called them back to thank them for it; they were surprised to hear the praise for the extra service. I gave them props then, I give them props here. This review is based on my past experiences as i grew up over near Napoli. As a kid I frequented there, but often because other people were going. I was not much of a fan then and as I grew older and my tastes more discerning I realized this wasn't the spot for me. I do agree that in a crunch, they're the best place to deliver and for that purpose they at least get a mid-range rating from me. Still, the last time I did so it tasted kinda stale. Hopefully the slices have gotten better, but further into Flatbush has less oily and better tasting pizza. read more

If you get there warm Sicilian slice when it's fresh out of the oven, it's really good! Reminds me about the Sicilian slices I used to get when I was a kid growing up in central Brooklyn. Got a meatball pizza delivered last night. Was only able to place this order after assuring the order taker - twice - that I did indeed want meatballs, not sausage. I was reading off the menu, you see. I was reading the word "meatballs". I was in turn enunciating this fine, ordinary noun. Into the phone. Yes, I G------ wanted meatballs, not sausage. Likewise, I did not want raccoon. Had I wanted either sausage or raccoon, rest assured I would have asked for them. After a few bites, it became apparent that something was amiss. If you live in 11210, this is the best pizza you're going to find. The crust and dough is solid, the cheese and ingredients are fresh, and most importantly, the pizza is consistently good. I've been ordering pizza here since 2008. I've tried several other places in the area and some outside the area (Bona's, Jr. Bellas, Little Ceasars, etc.) and I always come back to Napoli's and wonder why the hell I ordered anywhere else. I've come to know the owner, Frank, and he's serious about his pizza. This isn't one of those fly by day, I just learned how to make pizza joints. This has been in the family since the 1970's, and Frank has been making pizza since at least a teen. He's also heavily involved with the business, so you know the quality is going to be very good. And the fact is that the pizza is very good, both at the joint and via delivery. If you're at the store, I suggest you get the small pizzas for lunch. They're awesomely crunchy and doughy and I feel like I'm in Italy (and yes, I've had pizza there). The pizza always tastes better when Frank is there, as he knows the oven, how to check it, and how to shift the pizzas during cooking. He's also a nice guy also, as he once opened his store early for my child's summer camp to show them how to make pizza. The place is also nice if you want to just hang out in the store and watch t.v. and eat pizza and watch the world go by outside. The place is busy, so the pizza's not just sitting there, getting cold and nasty. Delivery is pretty speedy, about half an hour, except at the busy times (Friday and Sat dinner), when times can be at least 45 minutes. In those cases, just pick up if you can. The delivery guy's name is Albert and he's a very nice guy too (sometimes Frank delivers). You can also get whole wheat pizzas, too, and the standard pizza fare, like calzones and stuff, which are tasty. Also, if you want a grilled cheese or diner food, just go one store down. The family owns the entire building, and his brother owns the corner diner. That's a good place to eat too if someone in the family wants a cheeseburger or a grilled cheese or a tuna melt, and they sell Mexican Pepsis there that, by the way, go VERY well with Napoli's pizza. So, in conclusion, if you want a good solid consistent pizza that's full of taste, order here. You will not get any better pizza in the 11210 area, and I've tried at least 98 percent of the pizza in the area more than once. And to be clear, if you're asking: is this pizza better than Di Fara's? I will so no to that, but then again, no pizza is better than Di Fara's. That's the world's best pizza, without question. But when you don't want to spend 28 dollars on a regular pie and wait seemingly forever, come to Napoli's You will not be disappointed and you will be supporting a local business. read more

What can say? I love their pizza slices, especially pepperoni. There are practically for the most part no lines, and other times, raging with teenagers from a junior high nearby and postal workers who want some decent lunch. Personally, I love their pizza rolls. I always the same toppings pretty much: ground beef, mozzarella cheese, and sausage. It is one of the greatest inventions! It's like a huge two circular pieces of bread that taste like pizza filled with more meat and cheese. Yes, they use tomato sauce on the inside. I should mention their pizza slices are just as delicious. There is a fair amount of cheese used, and yes, it's oily-I mean delicious. There are huge windows inside in case you're a fan of people watching. It's mostly clean, and some stools may be in repair, but definitely still works. They recently did a renovation, and the walls, the stools and table look new. I like this place when it's not crowded with younger children. read more

I have been going for over 10 years and I'm NOT a fan of pizza but their pizza is the perfect slice appropriately proportioned with cheese and sauce. I love this place. I've been coming since I was a kid. The pizza is good, they did go through a phase where it was a tad salty but to me now, it's better. Pizza has changed a lot in NYC. Especially in Manhattan where the $1 slice is becoming popular. Problem is, those slices aren't very good. This is probably my favorite pizza place in town (or for at least 4 blocks in NY). It's amazing!! High quality ingredients that you can taste the difference in! Best slice in Brooklyn in my opinion. Pizza is always fresh and consistent at reasonable prices. Staff and owner are welcoming. They have recently improved the atmosphere to go along with a mini renovation a few years back. They keep the the counters, floors etc. clean at all times.
