We stopped in for pizza and dined in. Pizza was fabulous! There is no wait staff, other than the guys at the counter. It's BYOB and you will need to bring your own cup too...although we were offered a soda fountain cup to go with our wine. The reasons for the 3 stars...it was so miserably HOT in the restaurant...it was almost unbearable. They could probably do a little more to cater to the dine-in customers since they have seating. Ordered a cheesesteak with mushrooms and sauce. Bread was freshly made, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Meat portion was very generous and tender, with a delicious sauce. Great value as I could only eat half of it. The rest will be a snack. I'd like to try the pizza. Maybe on our way back. read more

SANDWICH AND FRIES REVIEW Came here in between work meetings nearby when I needed something quick. I wasn't in the mood for pizza so I opted for a sandwich. The place has a neighborhoody pizza place feel with wooden benches and booths. The cashier was friendly and recommended the Napoli special which was a sandwich that had all the meats on it, plus LTO and Mayo. He also recommended fries so why not? The sub was HUGE and a great value for only $8. It came on a great roll and loaded with shredded lettuce. That said, the sandwich wasn't particularly flavorful, shame on me for not adding hot peppers which I usually add to Italian sandwiches. It was satisfying because of the size but it didn't have me thinking "wow, this is a tasty sandwich." Again, I can't speak to the pizza or the hot sandwiches so maybe those were better but this was just a "good" sandwich. read more

Not the greatest place but not the worst I've been to either. The pizza wasn't very hot and the cheese wasn't well melted. I also have an issue with their garlic powder container. I barely turned it over to sprinkle on my pizza and approximately an entire teaspoon poured out. Crust was mediocre at best. In a good note, the two guys working there were very friendly. read more

Pizza looked amazing but we went with sandwiches and they were SO GOOD! My partner went with the Chicken cheesesteak (nice Italian twist to it!) and I had the veggie sub. Served fresh and hot, bread was so good! Friendly service as well, can't ask for more. The pizzas were flying out the door while we were there so I imagine they were delicious. Stop in! Had the Chicken Parm sub and it was huge and awesome! The service matched the sub. Added a bottle of water. One of the best pizzas I've had in quite some time. Really good toppings and the crust was medium thickness and crisp but not crunchy. I prefer a slightly lighter crust but this one was pretty good. They offer a gluten-free version, but I have not tried it. To escape a rut at home, my family loves trying their other dishes such as Stromboli, Sicilian pizza, chicken or veal piccata, and their masala dishes. The main meals come with a salad and pasta, which is never fall-apart squishy like Play-Doh. I appreciate that pasta detail, as it's one way you can tell if Italians are making the food or not. This family-run restaurant is friendly, fast, and supports the AWC students & families. Don't worry, Napoli, I won't really go anywhere else. Why bother? I know a good pizza when I taste one. So the feel of this place is just your generic pizza place but the quality of the actual pizza rises far above most other pizza places! This was the most delicious pizza I've had in the area, I'm very happy I found this place as I recently moved to town and was trying different pizza places until I found the one that's for me, after trying the pizza here I have decided that the search is over! I ordered to go, by phone, and they were very kind over the phone, by the time I got there my pizza was hot and ready so they were also very punctual. At this point I was just expecting the same average pizza you get from local pizza places and it was not until I got home and actually tried the pizza that I realized, this is not your average pizza. The amount of cheese, sauce, dough and toppings were literally perfect and the flavor of the sauce was fantastic! I will absolutely be coming here again when I have that pizza craving! Our garlic bread and pizza were out quickly. Everything looked delicious... That being said I was disappointed. Maybe my expectations are too high, I'm used to Chicago style pizza. The sauce was kind of sweet in a weird way and the crust didn't have much flavor. It was also really greasy. Greasy pizza is fine if it tastes great but this did not. Napoli recently opened up in Carlisle in a strip mall, so it didn't initially jump out to me as anything special. After I tasted their pizza, however, it's become my favorite pizza shop in town! My dad always told me that you can tell the quality of a pizza shop by the taste of their simple cheese pizza. If they can do that well enough to impress, then everything else is good enough.
