6 Piece Nigiri & 4 Piece Salmon Sashimi Combo

If you're in the Folsom and Elk Grove area and you're looking for the GREAT AYCE sushi and deep-fried dishes spot, this place is honestly it. I've visited multiple times--usually with family--and every time the experience has been consistently great. Sushi quality: The sushi is really good and tastes fresh. Deep-fried items: By far, the deep-fried selections are unbeatable. They're crispy, flavorful, and always hit the spot, I love the soft shell crab and fried shrimp tempura so much!! Speed of service: Service is fast and efficient for an AYCE restaurant, and the staff stays on top of things. Staff attitude: The servers are genuinely nice, responsive, and actively checking** to see if you need anything--without being intrusive. Even though it's not usually super crowded, the food definitely makes it worth it. Overall, it feels like a place where you come hungry and leave satisfied--especially if you're there for both quality sushi and standout fried items. Great value, great food, and great service. I'd absolutely recommend it.

We've been coming here for over a year, and every visit feels like coming home. From the moment we walk in, we're welcomed like family. The atmosphere is always fun, clean, and filled with great music that sets the perfect vibe. The service is truly exceptional, the staff go above and beyond every time. The waiters and waitresses are not only hardworking, but you can tell they genuinely love what they do. They know our order perfectly, and somehow our Shirley Temples are already waiting for us before we even sit down. The food never disappoints. The fish is always fresh, and the rice-to-fish ratio is consistently spot on. If you go, you have to try the Garlic Sake you'll thank us later. Thank you to the Narumi family for always making us feel so welcome.

This isn't the most extravagant or fancy looking sushi spot, but it is spacious and they had a great variety for their dinner menu! I thought $34.95 was pretty fair for the variety. Normally I like to go for mostly nigiri and sashimi. The salmon and escolar sashimi were great, as well as all the garlic nigiri options. But I was most surprised at how much I enjoyed all the specialty rolls! At most AYCE sushi places, the specialty rolls all seem to be too similar. But the ones we ordered were all unique and had their own flavor profile! I liked the lemon on the Narumi Roll, torched salmon on the Mr. Krabs, crushed cashews on the King Kong, and the kick of heat on the Ocean's Trio. The Sunrise Roll was different because it had mango sauce and mango bits, but it was a little bit too much of the mango sauce, wish they countered it with some kind of heat instead. Overall really enjoyed the food! Wish the nigiri had a bit less rice but otherwise everything was so tasty and great quality. Service could've been a bit nicer but otherwise it wasn't the worst I've gotten. Will definitely be coming back!!

Good fish to rice ratio! There's also a limited selection of sashimi/nigiri to choose from but they have the popular selections. Their seared garlic salmon is a favorite of mine. Plenty of rolls to explore as well. It may take some time for the servers to grab your order, especially if you have a large group but the moment you place your order, the food comes out quickly. As for ambiance, it's located in a large building with lots of seating at bar, table and booth. Great for large parties and families.

Honestly I didn't have high hopes for this place, but it surprised me in a good way! Came here on the weekend for lunch and though the restaurant wasn't full, it did take a little while to get sat. Once we did our server was enthusiastic and funny. The food came out timely and was, to my surprise, very yummy. I will say that the sashimi I ordered was shockingly tender. But I feel the fish was rushed in the cutting. It varied in size and share each time I ordered it. Still delicious though. The building itself was sorta hidden but there is good parking. Overall the food was good, not mind blowing but good enough. Not sure if I'd take the time to drive out again. But if I need AYCE sushi, it'll be on my list for sure.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. FOOD: it was ok. Most of it rather plain. My bf said most of the sushi all just tasted the same. I don't eat seafood, so was glad to see plenty of non-seafood options. Pretty good variety overall. - spicy edamame: very spicy imo - chicken karaage: didn't like the sauce it came with.. too mayo-y. Chicken itself was plain. - veggie tempura: I was very pleasantly surprised by this. One of my fav dishes. Lighter tempura batter was nice (sometimes it can be thick and soggy). Really liked that they gave onion. - chicken gyoza: good, also like that they gave a dipping sauce with it. We ended up re-ordering this one. - mini udon: it's small, but had a good amount of noodles. Noodles are typical, broth plain and could use a bit more flavor. But, I enjoyed it. - avokyu roll: so small and sad. Honestly the ugliest roll I've ever seen.. needs more cucumber, too. - shrek roll: like the avokyu roll but bigger with inari (like age/brown bag) and sauce on it. Way better with the extra toppings compared to the avokyu roll. I would order again. - seaweed salad: I didn't try, but the person in my group who ordered it said it tasted weird/not good. SERVICE: Started out pretty slow, but then got better. The bus boy is not friendly. Like he doesn't talk at all. The lady was nice. The best was the white guy who came in for the dinner rush. He was very friendly. He felt like a breath of fresh air. Parking lot was good sized for the restaurant, but the spaces are very small.

My husband and I have been coming to sushi at this location for over 20 years. We were sad to see the owners sell the old business. However, the new owners did not disappoint. I normally am not a fan of all-you-can-eat sushi places. I feel like they lessen the portions way too much. But this place did not do that. Although the roll sizes were a little bit smaller, they were not too small. Which I can appreciate because im getting my moneys worth, and it allows room for multiple menu items! The new owners did not change the inside look of the place, which I like because it was fine the way it was. Lots of room at the sushi bar. And lots of tables for traditional dining. I'm glad my husband and I can continue our tradition of coming here when we visit the area.

Our go to for AYCE sushi. Plenty of rolls and appetizers to choose from. Delicious rolls and good presentation, worth the price. Service is friendly and attentive, even when extremely busy.

Narumi Sushi is the best AYCE sushi! Their menu is extensive, lots to choose from, even for non-sushi lovers. I love their lunch option, such great value and delicious, but their dinner menu is just as good. The service is fast (thank you, sushi chefs) and the servers are always kind. My go-to place when I am craving sushi. My favorite items: *Spicy salmon hand roll *Spicy tuna hand roll *Climax Roll *Spicy Ninja Roll *Wakame (seaweed salad) *Maguro nigiri (tuna) *Sake nigiri (salmon) *Shiro Maguro nigiri (albacore) Food: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Overall: 9/10

Misleading kids prices. Love the food and service. The menu states to add $2.95 per child's age. However, the actual price per child is 2 TIMES the age of the child. The server seemed confused when I asked about the discrepancy and there was no supervisor with whom to speak. Still tipped 20%, but I'm hoping someone reaches out about this.

My favorite sushi spot. All the fish tastes clean and fresh. The nigiri has a great rice to fish ratio. The service is always fantastic. Great variety of rolls and appetizers so there is something for everyone.

Saw/heard some mixed reviews about Narumi but we were hungry for some AYCE and decided to try for ourselves! Pros: - Our table of 5 was able to order up to 75 pieces of sashimi/nigiri!! (Based off other reviews, it seems like if your table is 4 or less, you can only order 20. That disconnect is craaazy and I hope they increase the amt you can order if you're a smaller table) - the sashimi and nigiri tasted pretty good, overall. Not icy or fishy with good texture - my friends looooved the garlic sake nigiri and garlic hamachi nigiri - the fried appetizers were surprisingly very good! The shrimp tempura has a super light and fluffy panko breading - the Toro Nigiri (up charge) was tasty - you can order half rolls Cons: - the marinade for the ikura nigiri isn't the best, kinda tastes like dirty sea water - the sashimi was cut in a hurry, so the pieces were still connected at the bottom - server forgot some rolls on our first round (it's ok, we would've gotten full from them anyway) - the bake sauce on the Lion King didn't taste right, too gritty maybe? - there's no prices on any of the drinks. We ordered 2 rounds of tequila shots and were gobsmacked to learn that 1 shot SERVED IN A SMALL SOJU GLASS was $12 Overall, the good outweighed the bad for our party, so I think we lucked out!

Narumi is an excellent bang for buck sushi place. Their quality is actually surprisingly amazing. Service is decent too once you're sat down. The food comes out surprisingly quick. While the restaurant is located in an interesting part of town, the inside is very nice. I highly recommend coming here especially for lunch. It is truly a nigiri lovers dream.

Who knew Oregon had such a fantastic wine? It's definitely up there and not to be slept on for sure. I ordered the Owner's flight which were Pinot Noir's they were amazing . We got 2 bottle of Blossom one was a Rose which I highly recommend and the other I can't remember, but it was so refreshing. The tasting room is beautiful and spacious. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well. Chantel and Jen were amazing very friendly and accommodating. They are the best!! Before I left I did end up purchasing a bottle of Late harvest Riesling and bottle of sparkling Muscat. If you never been you have got to check them out. It's a great experience for sure. :)
