So I'll be honest, this is my first real experience with a ghost kitchen and seeing it with my own two eyes. First, the good: ordering was easy, the time estimation was very accurate, and the food was ready quickly. I enjoyed our rolls and the spicy edamame. Textures and flavor were good, and presentation was nice (though inside of a plastic to-go container). Now, the room for improvement: I can't fault the business for the experience picking up the food as I know this is built as a food delivery business, but these ghost kitchens feel hectic and makeshift on the inside. The parking in the lot was actually pretty difficult as it was practically full (I could see that actually being a problem for door dash and grubhub pickups). The food in the photos doesn't really match the food received (because in the photos it is staged and garnished on real plates), and while the flavors were good, the selection and combination of ingredients seems a little limited as most of them had tempura shrimp as a sort of filler and crunch. The prices are decent for sushi, but higher than I'd expect of a delivery only type business since they have such low overhead. I could see the business get a ton more traffic by just dropping the prices by a dollar or two or offering a happy hour for ordering, because as it is, the pricing is similar to a sit down sushi restaurant, without the service, atmosphere, and food presentation that you would normally get in a restaurant. All in all, the sushi was decent. I wouldn't mistake it for Mikuni's or Kru, but it's definitely far better than grocery store sushi too. For the price, I give it a B+. It's a new business and I look forward to trying it again for the sushi pops, and may even cater our next event with them (or Lou if he's available, IYKYK). For a midweek eat, I'd say this is a good alternative to all the run of the mill delivery and fast food in the area, but it's far from replacing the restaurant sushi experience, which is why I can't really rate it higher at this time. If you're wanting to try a new place in the area, give WYNN sushi a shot, but don't set your expectations too high. It's good, but not great. read more

Try out this place for a friend's birthday and my goodness was I impressed It is a incredibly beautiful spot. You can just order a box to go and take it home. You have this incredible platter spread of variety of sushi. We took her to the park and it was such a lovely experience. The sushi was so delicious no fishy flavor just super fresh. In my opinion in the portions were really big at the fish to rice ratio was spot on. Wild this is a treat yourself type of meal. It is definitely worth it. Really enjoyed this sushi! A great option for sushi on DoorDash. I loved the variety of dishes available! I loved the duo bite with the salmon and tuna wrapped around a ball of imitation crab with unagi sauce! Very simple but great flavor. My boyfriend liked the otoro tuna nigiri the most! Otherwise we also liked the salmon bomb and unagi bomb! The 911 roll is the roll we went with, it was ok but probably our least favorite out of what we got! Not disappointed, in fact extremely delighted to have found Wynn sushi delivery ! You can pick up or get catering and their boxes look amazing and well priced. I've tried a lot of sushi places but have yet to find a really good one that delivers. Kru has been the best but the menu is so limited and it's a bit pricy. First time for Wynn but won't be the last- I loved the scallop and toro tuna nigiri, as well as the spicy salmon and yellowtail bombs. DD had us craving sushi from wynn sushi box. Yeah I've been hearing all over social media about Winnie and how he's opened up his shop for the best sushi in the 916! Winnie sells his sushi boxes but we ordered bunch of items thru DD and we were quite impressed! Wynn offers $80 sushi boxes but we chose to order ala carte and it costed $80 as well through DD. We got the X911 roll, Tuna Tataki, Tekka Maki, Candy Roll, Wynn Roll, Tuna Poke Bomb, and Spicy Tuna hand roll. Everything was fresh and tasty...really good! Everything was fabulous! This sushi place was awesome. We stumbled onto it inside an odd-looking commercial kitchen facility that seems to be mostly set up for take out, ghost kitchens, and the like. There's awkward divider panels to define each cooking area and we chatted with friendly proprietors of the bbq, middle eastern, and sushi places. There's card tables and folding chairs set up in a central area if you are dining in. But ignore all that and throw yourself on the genius curator behind the counter at Wynn. We had fried pot stickers, a very large sushi roll, and a selection of the most delicious sashimi. Extremely irritated. Drove from Placerville to come eat and even looked at their hours at 10:30 (before we made the drive) and saw they don't open till 12. No big deal. We waited and got here at 12:10, just to see they had a sign on the counter saying they weren't open due to going to a catering event. Such bull crap. Quality of fish and flavor are 5/5 and the quantity is what really makes the price worth it overall. Many places will only fill the top of a handroll but here the entire cone is packed. Their Inari bombs are also one of my favorites to order and I'm excited to try their rolls and other food.
