Have drove by multiple times the last few weeks and they have been closed. Two days ago the car wash doors were open and the checkout lane was not blocked. I thought it was finally opened! Did I mention the dryer sucks? See my pics. It does an alright job cleaning but the final rinse doesn't look crystal clear. Fortunately I carry a chamois with me and I typically do a once-over with it at other places, but here I have to ring it out a couple times. Staff can be hit-or-miss I once tip the guy a buck, as they typically will do a little extra brush work. The guy just stuck it in his pants and stood there. I typically get the $3 wash here and if it's real dirty I get the $5 one. If it wasn't so convenient to home I would never come here. read more

Strictly in regards to the car wash it is cheap,fast, and efficient! They employees were helpful especially for such a busy day! I paid for the $3 car wash and it did its job and got my car pretty clean! This will surely be my go to spot all summer long, and apparently a lot of others too! It's a decent drive through car wash. Here's what I like and don't like: 1). It's cheap: they have 3 or 4 washes to choose from, starting around $5 going up to $12. 2). Buy one get one: if you get the $12 wash, you get a coupon for a free return visit within a month. Basically now you are paying $6 per wash. 3). Soft touch: all of the materials are soft like a sponge. I've gone here for years and never have I seen any scratches after going through. 4). It's fast. As long as there isn't a long line of cars, you're in and out in just a couple minutes. Here's what I don't like: It always feels like they don't service their equipment. Something always seems to be not working. Even something as small as light bulbs. Signs used to light up saying what they were doing to your car, such as tire wax, or undercoating.....but those haven't worked in years. That's the main reason I am not giving more stars. They need to put time and money in to maintain the place. read more

I must first start off by saying this review is only for the car wash portion since I have never used the "service center". The only reason they are not getting one star is for the $3 dollar option in their pricing structure. I've given them four tries now and each time has been worse than the next. First and for most, no matter if you buy the $3 or $10 car wash, it never gets rid of the soap. At the very end of the wash, there is a light sprinkle of clean water before you hit the dyers. If you look in your door jams, under the hood, jams of our trunk, you will notice soap deposits. Also this last time I went through, I came out with a nice scratch on the side of my door. On the vacuum side; it seems that all of them never work at once. The ones that do work seem to have poor suction as well. Maybe I'm expecting more from an automatic car wash, but truthfully I think this establishment is poor. read more

Don't go to the car wash on Eola/New York. 1st, the license plate reader is not working. 2nd, they are manually washing people's car because the pre-soak doesn't work and only 1 of their brushes are working. 3rd, after all that pink/blue/yellow foam stuff is put on your car, the water pressure is too low to get it off then immediately those weak a55 dryers come one on and make things worse. I pulled around and asked for a towel and dude said we don't have any. Told me to get back in that long line and I said no. Told me to call corporate then said he is not allowed to give me the number. Then told me I can go to Naperville and wouldn't give me the manager's name. Then he sent his buck tooth partner over and he said he can give my money back but since I have the monthly plan so he can't. Then I asked for a receipt and he said he couldn't give me one. I came to this location for a car wash, and I don't think I will plan on returning. I purchased the top wash package for $12 which included a tire shine. I was pretty disappointed at the quality of the wash I received compared to the money I paid. After the wash, I noticed that there was some type of white film on my windshield in the areas where the wipers don't reach. This might have been minerals from the water, but I wouldn't expect to see anything on the windshield after all the brushing. I was also disappointed to see my tires were bone dry when I got home after the wash. I live just down the street so if tire shine was truly applied, then I would have expected to still see that when I got home. I never like feeling like I'm being taken advantage of, and that's just how I felt after paying $12 for the wash here. I definitely did not receive services that I paid for which is a problem. I always see a ton of cars parked by the free vacuum area polishing and finishing up their car detail. Great, fast car wash, lots of brushes and soapy suds. I went to this place about a year ago, waited 20 mins as it was really busy (it was a sunday afternoon), finally went through the car wash & came out with suds still all over my car!!!!! I parked & found a worker whom told me i had to wait in the long line to go thru again so they could rinse it. I left & said i would never go back. Was in the area recently & decided to give them another chance. I chose the $5 wash & put a $20 in then it printed me off a $15 voucher!!!! I spoke to the assistant manager whom informed me the machine was out of money & i was like 6th person he had to deal with about this today & unfortunately, there was no money in the safe to give me my money back. He said I had to come in the next day to speak with the manager to get reimbursed!!! Then i proceed to vaccuum out my car, & as im almost halfway done.. the vaccuums turn off! I go ask them & they said they were closed but I could use the "express vaccuums" which are on the other side for free. I pull over to them & of course it doesnt work.. i had to wave down the worker & he said "oh its probly broke, try the other one".. at that point i just left & I will never return!!!!! Standard oil change place. A tad bit pricey - $66 for a 4.5qt Castrol Syntec change, which I've been able to get other places for $50, but when places keep closing out here, I have to get it done somewhere. It's worth noting that this is an oddly nice oil change place. Nice little waiting room...with a fish tank...a television...and a rack of greeting cards? I guess I've never experienced a need to purchase a bithday card while having my oil changed, but this place is ahead of the curve in catering to that need. They have a car wash, but i've not tried it - I don't remember if it was touchless or not. read more

Went here for a car wash a while back, wasn't that impressed by it. The kids who run it were kinda rude. I ended up coming back for an oil change; totally changed my mind. The oil guys were really nice, really fast, and even though I didn't have a coupon, they gave me a free pair of winter wiperblades. I got a new air filter and my oil changed, paid $55. Not too shabby. The lobby is super nice, well heated, and you don't stick around there long anyway. Free vaccums outside were a nice touch as well! I'll be returning. This is still my favorite place to get an oil change. The drive time across town is totally worth it. My previous review had a low star rating due to the bank of vacuums not working properly but it's never been an issue since that post in 2011. The people who work here are friendly, efficient and take the time to explain what needs to happen but not oversell the point. I've never felt arm-wrestled into purchasing something just because it was suggested. The working vacuums do a fantastic job of getting the inside of my car clean (still a rolling crumb factory back there due to kids!) and the car wash is still the best in the area for a really nice clean for your vehicle. This place is terrible. Do not waste your time and come here. None of the vacuums work because the hoses have been run over by cars and they have not been replaced. When I was there, all of the trash bins were for and overflowing with garbage so I could not throw out any of the trash that was in my car. It looks like there was maybe one person working inside that was doing oil changes and there were no attendees outside to clean up the area. This is real simple. Pulled in for a car wash. Paid an extra $2 for my wheels/rims to be cleaned. They didn't bother to look at what I paid for, they simply sent me through without cleaning my rims. I went out, came back around to go back through. Washer guy gets pissed at me for wanting to go through the lane blocked by cones, designated for re-entry. Gets an attitude with me, So I told him with the same attitude, "you didn't wash my rims"! How are you mad at me for something YOU didn't properly do! I had to get out of my car and walk into the drive-thru area to fuss at him. He finally sends someone out to let me through. All I ask is that you do your job and NOT get upset at a customer for having an attitude for not getting what they ordered. Smh. read more

Free vacuums, curtious staff. I get my car washed here and it always looks great. The guys do a good job on scrubbing the tires and dirty spots as the car enters the wash. I also get my oil changed here and it is always super fast. One time I went when they were closing and they even squeezed me in, no problem. If you get a car wash, you get a coupon for $5 off an oil change. And with an oil change you get a free wash. Good deal in my book! read more

I selected the $8 car wash thinking it would be a huge improvement of the $3option....big mistake. The car wash was not functioning properly so no matter what you picked you're wasting your money. The long cloth like scrubbers we're not turning and therefore did not do an effective job of cleaning. Not to mention the soap was barely coming out on the first step. The final drying step was not either powerful or long enough as the side windows of my car we're not even dry. This previously was one of my favorite places to have my car washed, but that won't be happening again anytime soon at this location. read more

They failed to put in oil in our other ride (which is your mother (love that. tshirt) Stick to the wash! this place can get busy on those sunny days but most times you can drive right up and get your shine on. be wary of the powerful dryers. they have removed the weather stripping from my WIFEs mini-van on several occasions. our fault because they were loose to begin with but those suckers sure are powerful. read more

Quality of service has really declined at this location; that's a real shame as i have liked coming here. I was just there, got the $12 BOGO wash, mostly because they are supposed to do the Rim & Tire Shine. I drive a truck, my wheels were a mess, so i figured it was worth the extra $. When i drove in, the just splashed extra soap onto each wheel, that was it. Damn, even Delta Sonic's regular wash they do more than that. When i pulled out of the wash i stopped at the vacuums, gave me a chance to check the wash. I was really surprised how much soap was still on the truck. I expect some still in the bed, but their was soap dripping down the passenger door. Maybe their equipment needs a tune-up? No biggie at the time, wiped it down and went to use the vacuum....it didn't work. Tried the next 2, none were working. Definitely not their flagship store, but not a very good representation of the brand. I used to really like this wash, but with the inconsistent equipment and the poor attitude of the employees, time to find another wash. This company needs to get a handle on this location, or if they can't, just close it. read more

They have a cheap wash for $3 and then the nicer one is $15 I think. They have unlimited packages starting at $15.99 which is worth it if you get 4 or more washes a month. The line is crazy though during the evenings, weekends and random warm days during the winter. read more

As a 30-something single girl who bought her first car 15 years ago, I've been to numerous oil change places. This is the first one where I've ever felt truly comfortable. In the two years I've frequented Spotless Express, no worker has ever tried to "upsell" me. I'm used to going to get an oil change and having guys tell me "you need a new filter" ever 3,000m (especially when my filter is still pure white). These guys bring me my filter and tell me, "you've probably got about 6K before you need a new one so don't bother." Honesty is huge, as far as I'm concerned. I've met the owner on multiple occasions, and he is personable and seems dedicated to serving his customers fairly and reasonably. Their waiting room is clean and comfortable, and stocked with reading material for both men and women (though I rarely need it, as their service is quick and outstanding). I am more than willing to pay a bit more than I would at a substandard chain in order to have the peace of mind that comes with knowing I'm well taken care of by a family business. read more

I have been a loyal customer since they opened . Last Sunday a got a oil change . I wanted the basic deal but the employee told me the importance of good oil . I said do it, Then went to the sitting room . He came and showed me that my Trans Fluid and it was dirty ,The time did not work for me , Long Story short I did not change the trans fluid and they did not put oil in my car . If I did not try to get a car wash my engine would be JUNK . I was told that it was a bad filter but no oil on the ground . I have tryed to talk to the owner and he will not return the call after three attempts . Every one makes mistakes but you to answer for them . I will not go back unless the owner call and says he is sorry and has a plan for this not to happen again. Antwan and his crew are life savers! As I was getting my car washed, they noticed my car had a major leak. Upon exiting the car wash, they stopped me and had me open the hood. Antwan looked under the car. I had just had an oil change at AAA and my car was hemorrhaging oil! They checked the oil level and it was almost empty. Antwan filled the oil tank and I went back to AAA where they replaced a broken oil filter gasket. I am so grateful for Antwan and his crew for proactively alerting me of the problem! I was a regular customer there when they first opened and over the years service there flat out sucked. I went there twice to get my oil changes because they had a good deal of 19.99 and a free wash. The first time I went in with a used car I just bought. (I had temp plates) and one of the workers said I needed my air filter replaced. So I said ok... Got my air filter replaced and went about my day. 3,000 miles later I went in again. The SAME guy comes over and tells me "you have no air filter, where did u get your services done previously?" I was shocked and upset and I said "YOU were the one to change my oil last!!!!" The guy looked at me with a black stare and went back to the computer and said "oh u had temp plates" apparently he charged me for an air filter before but never put it in ??? I didn't even bother to complain I'm just NEVER taking my business back there. I don't recommend these guys to change yor oil cus as you see what should have cost me 20 bucks ended up costing me over 50 for an air filter that was never replaced !!! read more
