Desperately needed a car wash today and my usual spot was out of service. So Jet Brite was the next closest spot near me. Well for starters I don't like the layout of this place. I think the planning behind the layout could have been way more intentional. Unfortunately noon on a Friday is peak hours- this place was packed. So packed it got to a point where it was almost ridiculous, and the line wasn't that fast. However, I was really desperate for a car wash. I came in at 12:31 noon and I didn't leave until 1:06 pm. I definitely wasn't expecting a trip to the car wash to be 30 mins. This wouldn't be so bad if the performance made up for the wait time. However, unfortunately my car still had some dirt marks. My car was mostly clean- but not fully. Which is surprising because this place is uber popular. I got the very basic car wash for $7, maybe that's why my car wasn't as clean as expected. Overall, it was a pretty mediocre experience. I would much rather go to my usual car wash spot that's $2 less. My car is usually spotless when I go there. At the very least I can finally cross very popular car wash off my list but I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. Unless of course I really REALLY need a car wash. read more

I have a membership at Jet Bright on Farnsworth Ave. I went for a car wash today and one of the attendants hit my car with his fist because I didn't move up fast enough for him. Completely unacceptable behavior. read more

I feel like the layout of the facility could have been better design since it's near impossible to get to the free vacuums during peak hours. This place is packed on nice sunny days and especially on the weekends. When there are 3 lines of cars all the way out to Farnsworth, you can access the vacuum from the far left lane, but then it would be difficult to leave because you would have to back up into the far left line. I came here for a quick wash and it was decent. I paid at the machine, the gate when up, I drove into the automated car wash, the brushes do their thing and then giant air dyer dries off most of my car at the end. Have an account with this location for some time. Went to the their app and entered my info, migrated my older account, entered new cc into the system. Tried to wash my car today was not allow to go thru. Was informed by a so called supervisor that I had no account on file and that it was terminated, which was not true since they charged my account yesterday for my car washes. Had to pay for my car to be washed a full price since he wanted me to show a bank statement to prove I had account paid, how can you do this in a car. Went to the office and they also told me I had no account. had to call a number to explain my issue, Talked to a woman and she told me I did have an account and was in good standing. You may want to find another place to wash your car it seems they are unable to get their system working properly. Staff is somewhat rude and uninformed. Think I will be looking for a new place to much hassle just to wash a car. read more

I took my 2016 GMC Terrain here and all I got was a lot of circular scratches all over the car. It took me some time to get them rubbed out. If I were you I would find a car wash that doesn't scratch your car. read more

It's pretty good for a $3 wash. They have some prewash stations to work on all that bug juice. By the end of the day the water is filthy and not much suds left. Vacuums are pretty good put can be a challenge to get out of if they're backed up. Noticed recently the final rinse leaves a film on the windshield after the dryer. I carry a chamois for touching up all the spots. read more

I decided to come here and wash my truck. I usually like to go to hand car wash places but because of my experience last week I said to myself it can't be worse than that if I'm going to do the work myself. This location is off a busy street in the town of Aurora (Farnsworth Ave). I vacuumed the inside myself and I did a way better job than those people from the hand wash place. And they have a debugging area where I was able to scrub all those droppings from our little friendly friends. Pros: free vacuums with wash purchase. Debugging area. Mat machines for those filthy mats. Good deals. $10 gets you the best wash possible. Cheaper than paying $25 for a bad hand car wash. Cons: off a busy street especially hard to get in and out with construction. Vacuum area is right where cars drive up to the wash lanes. read more

This is where I typically get my car washed, as their $3 wash is just enough to get the dirt off your car and have it looking good again (although you can spend way more money than that for all the extra trimmings, waxes, tire polish, you name it). The car wash facilities themselves are great, my car typically comes out reasonably clean (particularly for $3) and the free vacuums and floor mat cleaners are great. The problem is, and the reason I'm not rating this place higher, is unless you go at a totally weird time of the day or when it's raining, the amount of people who go here is absolutely ridiculous. The line for the car wash during good weather extends onto Farnsworth, and the staff does almost nothing to manage this aside from put up a few signs telling people not to block Farnsworth. Getting to the vacuums or the mat cleaner with the line situation is a total nightmare as well. I'm really not sure why they haven't expanded this location, as it's next to a completely vacant field. The place is constantly SLAMMED, so you'd think more room and maybe another car wash lane for people to go down would similarly increase how much money they're making? It's been a bit of a mystery to us. Anyway, go here if the line isn't long, or I guess if you've got absolutely nothing to do and don't mind waiting forever. read more

I used this car wash twice. Both times I selected the $3 option just to remove salt residue from the car. It's pretty basic and got the job done. However, the car wash lines are sometimes so long that the line extends out to a very busy street. It's not very organized when it's crowded & it can be a real hassle to back out of the vacuuming stations when it's like that. read more

I attempted to go to this car wash for a quick wash of my car. I typically hand-wash, but I wanted a clean car for the weekend and thought this might be an OK solution. Before I start: My car is admittedly lowered slightly, however it has gone through Delta Sonic OK. Upon pulling up I wanted to park and check with an attendant to see what kind of clearance there was. I couldn't seem to find anyone on a quick check, and since there wasn't really any place to park (all of the vacuum stalls were in use) I didn't want to block any more traffic, so I assumed I could pull through and pull around if it appeared there would be an issue. I pulled up to the pay-line and made it through the menus semi-quickly, albeit with a line building up behind me immediately. Upon pulling forward I noticed there was a decent sized rail to guide cars through the wash and stopped, however I was already well past where I could turn around (you essentially need to turn immediately after paying) with a car behind me. I was in luck though, as there was an attendant guiding cars on to the rail. About 20ft away I stopped my car completely, put my head all of the way out the window and said "My car is lowered... is it going to make it or should I back up?" The attendant said "You're good... pull forward". I pulled forward and noticed that the grade would point the front end down a bit before entering the wash, (fail by whoever engineered that) so about a foot from the rail I stopped again, leaned out again, and asked again. I received the same reply. Inching forward I immediately heard a large crunch and saw the attendants eyes light up. He yelled at me to back up, so I did... thereby ripping off the front lip on my car and breaking 3/4 of the fastening points on the bumper. I attempted to get out and he told me to stay in the car, then bent the lip up so it would not drag on the ground.... cracking it even further. Somehow 2-3 more attendants appeared to help direct traffic and back my car out now that there was a line behind me... luckily I was able to back up in the well curbed and completely blind area without further damage to my car. I went in the office to get a refund (which took a little over half an hour - not sure if that was a bad computer or an unskilled worker) and then asked to speak to a manager. I was informed there are no managers on duty and instructed to call a number. 3 calls over the next 5 days to that number never yielded an answer or a response, despite the message on the answering machine noting 7-5pm availability everyday and immediate responses to messages. I was never anything but kind and polite to everyone involved, so I'm not sure why no one ever responded. I'd assume at this point that this is their default way of keeping a customer happy: stonewall them. They have a sign that notes they are not responsible for broken antennas and the like, but I believe I took very reasonable precaution here. The fact that they cannot even call me back to say "sorry, no dice" says quite a bit. Based on my experience I cannot recommend any of these car washes. This major disappointment exists with whatever entity lies above this particular location, not just the location itself. It is probably tough for a 15yr old looking kid to realize that he just cost me $1000+ however maybe the incident could have spawned some training for employees or signage for the company that notes how high your vehicle must be. +1 star since I should have known better than to trust a kid working at the car wash. read more

Decent Car Wash. I saw the $3 Car Wash while returning from the outlet store and entered this place. Here is my experience. You start off with the free Vacuum which are really strong and do a great job. On either side there is a car mat cleaner, which were just okay. Once you are all done here you move to the carwash queue. This is where you figure out the marketing stunt this company has played. The $3 car wash is just for very light wash. For anything more you got to pay more. They have washes for $3,$5,$8 and $10. As usual I got the most expensive one. Once inside the wash it did a really good job at washing but I was not very happy with rinsing. It left soap at points which when dried left a few spots on the car. I had to use a cloth and clean it again once home. read more

If i could give them a negative star rating i would. False advertising and misleading. I've been to this location a number of times and have been satisfied with my experience about 50% of the time. I truly believe you get what you pay and normally wouldn't expect much from a $3 wash as that's what i normally get. I've purchased the $8-$10 wash multiple times expecting to get a more thorough clean and my vehicle comes out with more shit on it than it went in with. Awful customer service. My husband went through the wash and mentioned how powerful it was. His wipers were standing up by the end. A few days later he realized his front licences plate was missing. He called and gave them the number and they said the plate was there. He went a few days later and was told they throw out plates after 24 hours. The "manager" refused to give me contact information for the owner. Why would you throw out something that is issued by the state and easily returnable to the owner through the police department? read more

This carwash is prettay awesome. When I pulled up, I was immediately like "noooooooo" because the line was long and I was on my lunch break but an employee motioned for me to pull up to a different line and I was moving right along. There are three selections, all of which come with free vacuums. I'm not sure if the vacuum is timed or not because I def didn't have time for that nonsense while on my lunch hour. I think I did the most expensive wash since my car is white and was filthy dirty from the snow/salt etc. FILTHY. There is also a $3 selection, but nah. A carwash is such an anomaly that I need to shell out some serious dough to get my whip even slightly clean. The wash itself seems pretty intense, and my favorite thing was that the dryer time seemed legit. I feel like a lot of washes don't give you any time to dry!! Horrible customer service!!!!!! My tail light broke while going through there car was and Jordan the manager is very un professional. He does not stand by his carwash damaging my vehicle!! BE aware I would go to another car was because if something breaks they will not do anything but say it is an existing issue with your vehicle. I was there a week before and did not have an issue so it could not be pre existing. If you try to call all you get is an answering machine and no calls back for over a week. After I called over 5 times. Nick is the manager at the Lombard location and I still have yet to hear from him. Worst visit ever. After one person told us we would be ok going through the wash with a heavy metal piece on the back of truck not very big ,we could have taken it off no problem but we was assured it was fine , the person that operates the machine looked at us and said get it off or get out of here , my husband explained to him the worker said it was fine, he looked at us and said I don't give a F*** get it off and don't come back , so after we told him he was going to report him we go through wash and in the middle he cuts it off and changes it to the cheap wash . We were treated like dogs and cheated out of our wash we paid for .i called and asked to speak to manager and the lady kept asking me'for what' then said he's not here then finally a man got on the phone named Jordan claiming to be the manager . STAY AWAY!!! TURN AROUND AND DON'T LOOK BACK! It's too risky, and they don't take responsibility for anything their system does to vehicles. Grabbing a hose and washing it yourself will be much safer! Went in for a simple car wash and came out with a broken passenger side mirror. Absolutely nothing was wrong with either mirror on the vehicle, after the mechanism with the brushes did it's first pass in the car wash it went past the side mirror and jolted the car just a bit, by the time I got to the blowers my mirror was hanging down. I filed a complaint with Jordan and after having pictures from their own cameras with proof that it was fine when it went in, but damaged when it came out, he proceeds to point out on the grainy picture that was taken with their camera an "only visible to him" separation of the mirror from the car. They are arrogant and rude. If you try them and something happens, don't say you weren't warned!!! read more
