The country potatoes were cold & zucchini hash was mushy. Tiny paper thin piece of avocado on the English muffin, Tomato juice ordered came at end of meal. This was our treat day to try a new breakfast venue. Eggs are the simplest food to cook. We shared our concern with staff. The check was $42 and we had to go home & eat & gave the food to our dogs. I haven't found a true breakfast spot in Chico that has left me feeling full & something that offers unique menu options that would make me want to come back. Until today; I stopped here with some of my co-workers on Tuesday a little after 9am. I had never been here before but a few of my friends had mentioned it before so we headed over. First and foremost, they serve alcohol! Thank god, because after an overnight shift like that one I was pleasentley surprised to be able to pair a Mimosa with my breakfast. I honestly couldn't decide which is a good thing in my opinion so I went with something I had never heard of before. Chilaquiles, which in a sense is fried tortilla chips covered with absolute goodness. It has a little suggestion of adding chorizo or another breakfast meat so I agreed. I think my co-workers probably thought I never eat due to the speed in which I devoured this meal. I had a breakfast shot after my Mimosa and that concluded my meal. I had not been to this place since college, and so I was excited to return with a friend recently for lunch and was happy to see that this place really had not changed. Our server was prompt and efficient, and the food was delicious and delivered quickly to our table. The only thing that prevents them from obtaining 5-stars is the fact that they charge a minimal service fee for using your credit card. It this day and age, who really carries around large amounts of cash on them? Most places frown at even accepting dirty money at this time. So the service fee is kind of annonying. read more

We walked in deeper into the restaurant and the waitress's looked at us funny and didn't talk to us, we asked them if where we can sit we'd like to eat, one girl finally addressed us, and told us to wait. We waited and we're finally walked to a table. They didn't bring us water, we asked for it two times, and someone finally brought us water. We didn't like how the waitress addressed us by "hunn" and "sweetie" very unprofessional. We felt rushed eating our food. Nash's food is delicious. If I could 5 star just the cooks, I would in a heart beat. I have had two very negative experiences at Nash's: 1) With a group of 4, we decided to go out for a nice champagne brunch to Nash's. The charge for a mimosa (bottomless) is 3.95 and is advertised as so. Every other restaurant I've ordered mimosas at include the champagne and orange juice with the advertised price. The cups they pour the champagne in are TINY, about 3 sips worth. When I received my bill, I noticed that I was charged for not only the 4 bottomless mimosas, but I was ALSO charged 5$ for each tiny bottle of orange juice they gave us. The menu does NOT state that you will be charged extra for the orange juice, nor did the waitress mention it as she offered to bring out the refills. 2) Today I went with just my girlfriend (table of two). Once sat down, it took about 15 minutes for someone to offer us drinks. By that time, we where ready to order, however the lady informed us that she was not the server. Another 20 minutes went by while we waited patiently for our order to be taken, and noticed that 5 new tables (who were big groups) had been seated AND had their order taken within that period of time. We waited another 10 minutes, and decided that our buisness was not that important to them and we left, hungry. The shrimp were really flavorful and fresh and the avocado was just right. Portions were large and the price was reasonable and affordable. The French fries were actually amazing. Crunchy outside and perfect inside. Service was friendly and good. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the water feature and music that wasn't so loud that we weren't able to converse or enjoy the sound of water running. What a beautiful restaurant! The food is great too. We sat in the main dining area and enjoyed a delicious dinner of shrimp louie salad, clam chowder, fish tacos, coconut shrimp and warm sourdough bread. Everything was very fresh and yummy! The service was great. We were seated right away on a Friday night. There were 3 servers tending to our every need. It was perfect. The bar area was packed and very lively. Dinner is also served in the bar. The main dining room is beautiful and relaxed. We got 2 desserts to go which we haven't eaten them yet - blueberry lemon mascarpone cake! MMMMMM very good brunch!!! We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were all super friendly and they kept the champagne flowing!!! So, with brunch you can add unlimited champagne for $3.95. And they mean unlimited! But the funny this is, the champagne is served in the tiny champagne glasses I remember seeing at old weddings or on new years. So honestly they do have to fill of the glasses often because you are really getting maybe 2 oz lol! I absolutely love the health options and the fatty food options on the menu! I went healthy and fatty lol, ordering a chili omelet with the zucchini hash. Really enjoyed hash! (just tiny strips of zucchini, grilled up). Everyone cleared their plates! I e been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner! A few years ago my employer had a Christmas party dinner here. It was fantastic then so when I moved back to the area and kept hearing about their amazing breakfast I knew I had to go! I got the French toast and bacon.... nothing but amazing! The French toast was perfectly cooked, tasted wonderful! The bacon was cooked properly as well and had a really good taste. This restaurant probably has the nicest interior design out of any restaurant (much less a diner), that I have been to in Chico. This includes Red Tavern, and 5th Street Steakhouse. Decided to finally try this place and here are my thoughts on it. Inside is cozy and the staff was more than friendly, so customer service was impressive. Food was just okay. Hard to admit, but the soda was the star of the dish. I ordered a turkey sandwich and I was very unimpressed. The sandwich looked just like any ordinary sandwich. I paid $11 for it, so I expected to be dazzled a little. I ordered a salad with it (pretty sure it was bagged), which was pretty good until I got to the cole slaw at the bottom, which didn't work with it. $15 for a plate of food I could easily make at home didn't leave me with a good impression of the restaurant. Nothing not to like. Good food, champagne breakfast, reasonably priced, lots of seating. The eggs the green sauce is my favorite! Three rooms to sit in, the middle one is the best. Just try it. Servers are hired more for looks than efficiency but they are fine. Went back last week and - same feedback! Good food, good service, Bottomless mimosa brunch is pretty awesome. Dined there last week and are new to the area. We found it to be very pricey and the menu options weak (not a lot to choose from).. The Chicken Breast Meal (about 17.25 +) was more expensive than the Calamari Meal??? The service was fair... Due to the prices we (2 of us) only ordered appetizer's Calamari and the Potstickers. We got a dinner salad each which was a very small portion and dressing was tossed into the salad making it very soggy. We had Ice Tea and water to drink.. First complementary bread that came out, it was over cooked and WAY to Stiff / Could tell it "sat" for some time..Second serving came out fresh, warm and moist. Two totally different experiences! Visiting town my friend told me this is her favorite breakfast place among the many in Chico. At first glance I was like cool a little breakfast spot, but what I didn't know that once you go in there's ton of seating. Tables are pleasantly spaced apart and the additional build to acquire the seating is nicely done with both indoor and patio seating. Wait an extra bar area sits all the way in the back! The food of choice was breakfast. Now I think it's pretty hard to mess this up but it can be done. However that was not the case here. In fact, these had to be some of the best hash browns I've had in years. Perfect blend of crisp potatoes without all the grease! How does that even happen? My omelette was cooked to perfection and the pepper sauce on the table was the right condiment. I had the Californian because their really is a lot of items to choose from on the menu. When in doubt just go for the basic. The ingredients were all fresh and the service was friendly! Definitely worth going back to! read more
