The food here is great! I was passing through and decided to stop at the gas station. So glad I saw this place in the plaza. It's a hidden gem! It's quiet and quaint. The inside was clean. There are tables and booths inside for seating. The food is amazing. You can tell it was cooked with love! The flavors were amazing. Salad was fresh and the dressing was tasty. The kabobs were tender and well seasoned. The rice was well cooked. The veggies were soft but still had a slight crunch The food came out hot & quick. We really enjoyed our first meal at Nasim's Kabab. I ordered the veggie platter, and my husband ordered the chicken kababs. Mine came with falafel, grape leaves, hummus, and baba ghanoush (mutabal). The serving size was generous, and my husband and I both enjoyed the platter with plenty to bring home for leftovers. My husband's chicken came with a soup or salad and either rice or french fries. He chose the salad and rice. The salad has a delicious vinaigrette dressing on it, and it was large enough to share. While we aren't eating much rice lately, their rice is very flavorful! The chicken was also wonderfully seasoned and cooked perfectly. My husband loved the red sauce that came with it for dipping. You also get homemade pita bread with your meal. It was warm and delicious for dipping in the hummus and baba. We decided to eat indoors, and they have a really nice dining room. They do offer hookah and I could smell the lingering scent when we entered, but I couldn't smell it once we entered the dining section. We'll definitely add Nasim's to our short list of dining rotations! read more

Excellent Authentic Middle Eastern Food. The Shawarma Wrap is large and very filling! Great for 2 people to split unless you are a big eater. The spicy sauce that comes with the wrap was fantastic! Ask for a side of garlic sauce to dip your fries in! But French fries were very plain ask for seasoning or salt to be put on them. Their hummus is fresh homemade and delicious!!!! And if you are a pickle fan, pay for a side of pickles, middle eastern pickles are BOMB! I wish this place was closer to me I'd be a regular for sure! Looking forward to trying more of there food. We've passed Nasim's several times as it's within the parking lot of the gas station we always stop at. We finally gave it a try and I wish we would have done it sooner. We ordered the chicken and the lamb. They got our food out super quick and our expectations continued to be exceeded when we took our first bite. To start the salad dressing was amazing! It had so much flavor and felt light enough that I wasn't weighed down by the time I dig into my meal. The meats were so tender, highly highly recommend trying the lamb even if it's outside of your comfort zone. The garlic sauce that came with the plates was the best I've ever had, the texture was perfect- not too whipped and not too runny. so MLB was not feeling so pretty good after having been away for a bit so I thought it a good idea to get something healthful while out restocking the pantry. We haven't kababbed for a while so how about a sack of food from Nasim's? I figured we could split a couple small items and an entrée so I got some falafels, mujadarah, and shish kabab with two sides... which would have been perfect if we had another couple over. so.much.food. the salad and lentil soup were easily double portions and quite good although we thought the salad a bit too sharp/citrus - will go with a different flavour or side next time. falafel is falafel is falafel to me, I've never met one I did not like and this continues the streak! large, round, firm balls of fried goodness served with tahini, greens, and tomatoe. I'm good with lentils and rice and fried onions so the mujadarah went over well with small doses of the spicy red. The kababs were done quite well: one each lambs, chickens, kaftas hot, moist, and grilled on a stick served on an generous pile of roasted veggies that had some bite in them which is perfect in my book. First time trying mediterranean and it was pretty good. The chicken was tender & seasoned well. The veggies had the right amount of crunch. The rice was a little bland but tasted better with the garlic & hot sauce that came with it. Good amount of food for $15.99. The salad was a little tangy for my liking. Most important- the FOOD is fantastic. Every single time. I hate that they serve in Styrofoam containers for eating in. While I understand staff shortages, at the very least use containers that are easier to manage at the tables without the floppy, sloppy lids in the way of a full table of food. And, I would pay $1.00 more per meal to have something that is better for the environment or re-usable at home. I'm helping my mom move from Langtree to Cincinnati. She's got IBS and this stress is getting to her. I was v hungry at 4 because I delayed lunch until after the movers were done. They had to reinventory all the boxes (not our fault) which took them a couple extra hours so they weren't done until 3. I chose Mediterranean for dinner, Nasim Kebab. Right before I called in the order, Mom asked me to "please consider getting her some comfort food." Well I'm a genius, here's what I ordered at 4:20. Braised lamb shank in tomato, zucchini, and carrots. Side of lentil soup and fries (for me). Fried cauliflower in tahini. Baba ghanoush Plates plastic ware napkins. I passed on the $4 baklava and tip 15% I unpack everything at the hotel and I there was no baba ghanoush. No plates. I called - Sure, come by and we will get it to you. Well. This fool kid told me I was supposed to bring back my food so he could show me the difference between hummus and baba ghanoush because people confuse them. How am I supposed to know to bring back my food after I unpacked it? I shouted that my fries were getting cold because of their incompetence and I didn't order hummus and unless they put the baba ghanoush under the cauliflower or in the lentil soup they missed it from my order. Finally a woman my age with micro bladed eyebrows came out and believed me when I said, Why would you give me 5 pita just for lentil soup and fried cauliflower?? She got me the baba ghanoush and I said thank you and stomped out. Forgot the plates. The food was fantastic. My mom was blissful eating the lamb. The zucchini was perfectly crisp/tender. The flash fried cauliflower (not breaded) had exactly the right amount of tahini and fresh parsley. The pita was fresh. The fries were steak cut and still warm when I got back to the Tru hotel. I licked the baba ghanoush container until it was clean. The lentil soup is like crack. I felt so much better a few minutes after I started eating. I'm still salty, but...Mom's IBS ok so far. Was excited to try Nasims and had a good meal. Its a very unassuming place that delivers good food. We ordered at the counter and then the food was brought to our table. Started off with the Hummus and it was a large portion with plenty of flavor. I had the lamb shank and it had good flavor but a tad over done. I was surprised with the grilled vegetables. They were a little undercooked. My wife had the Kafta Kabob and again was surprised with the grilled vegetables. The portions were huge but weren't a fan of the grilled vegetables. Called and placed an order on the phone with someone and confirmed they would prepare before closing. I got to the restaurant about 5 minutes before closing and they locked the doors and when I called all they said was we are closed. Came here with high hopes, based on a friend's recommendation. Walked in and stood at the counter for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. You order at the counter, then sit and wait. And wait. When food arrived, it was all served in styrofoam clamshell carryout containers, and everything came at once, the $13+ appetizer assortment and 2 kebabs, lamb and kafta. Baba ganoush in the appetizer was good, nice and smoky. But when we asked for 2 more pitas to have with the appetizer, we got charged extra. Kebab, rice and large amount of sautéed veggies all dumped together in a styrofoam box. Another table asked for a plate at the counter, and got the last 2 styrofoam plates apparently. We ordered two lentil soups for pick-up and when we got home (less than a mile away), the lentil soup was spilled everywhere inside the bag. The bag ripped because it was sopping wet. When we went back to get two more after calling and letting them know what happened, the owner proceeded to blame us and our DOG. They did not close the lid completely and she kept saying we were wrong. Without hearing us out, the owner then slammed the drive-thru window and walked away. We randomly found this restaurant and ordered some food. First of all they have employee problem that means you need to dining self. Nobody serve you. Thats understandable , especially during covid. So i can tell this is most beautiful and clean restaurant I have ever seen in the United States.
