While staying at the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta, I stopped into National Anthem for a quick bite before getting dressed for our reunion dinner. Our bartender, Jihan, was fantastic. She recommended a strawberry vodka seltzer that was refreshing and really good. I ordered the Parmesan fries, and they were absolutely delicious. Cheesy!! They're just fries, but they're seasoned and cooked so well that they were hard to stop eating. My sister ordered the salmon, and she cleaned her plate so fast I wasn't sure if she was starving or if it was just that good but she assured me it was delicious. I also got the pineapple upside down cake. I think it was with caramel sauce. I ate that later, but it was really good. The restaurant is very spacious with a nice view overlooking the courtyard, including the Braves signage and the surrounding restaurants. Since it's attached to the Omni, it's a convenient spot if you're staying at the hotel. If you're just dining there, valet parking is available (around $33 for several hours). After looking over the menu, there were quite a few other dishes that caught my eye. The next time I'm staying at the Omni at The Battery, I'll definitely be back to have dinner at National Anthem. read more

Love this place! Mainly because the customer service is bar none. 10/10! The reviews really should be higher for this place. Kitty and Usa were beyond great hosts. We were the only guests in this beautiful restaurant and the VIP treatment was definitely felt. Food was great, the lemonade Kitty made me was so good. I wish she made me more before she left. Speaking of which, she stayed to help us even though she was off for the day! Usa, was so sweet and kind, she made sure we liked the food and welcomed criticism for the items we didn't like, and held very candid insightful conversation. This place has a great view of the of the center lawn in Truist Park. We watched people lounge around and toss footballs relaxing. They have a nice outdoor seating area and a large interior with space enough for massive crowds. Love the baseball theme decor. Please visit and support this place. There is no reason they shouldn't have a higher rating. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. I had soup, fries, and the cauliflower and shrimp. All fresh and good. Stayed at the Omni for a weekend staycation - decided to have dinner on property to avoid being out with the crowds. We arrived around 10pm and there were only a few patrons at the bar. The decor is "American", but because of the lighting decor it feels like a breakfast spot versus dinner. Our server Christina was friendly, quick, knowledgeable and shared her honest opinions about the dishes we asked about (WE LOVE THAT!). was very exited to try the restaurant but was deeply disappointed. It was the day after Thanksgiving and the vibes were off buthe first bartender who didnt give a warm welcome. He immediately told us to sit at the bar as he was only for now. Upon entering in the restaurant was empty people came in after us actually got a table and service. We waited over 10 minutes just place drink orders and food. The second bar tender was much nicer and seemed to care. We waited over 45 minutes for devil eggs. Our steak took over two hours and both time came out cold. I couldn't understand why it took so long for food with all of 6 guests. I am staying at the Omni hotel and they have room service through the national anthem. So far, I'm very disappointed. The food is very average quality but is the price of a 4-5 star restaurant, and my second meal was completely wrong and missing items. I can tell everything is store bought, not made in house. Came to The Battery with a friend and we were craving steaks. Everything was packed so we basically took what we could get and the National Anthem looked promising at it is in the Omni. The place was not crowded which was nice . We ordered some drinks and our meals . The general service was surprisingly slow but we aren't one to complain . The food came out and was simply average at best . The steaks were mediocre as well were the sides which was disappointing considering the location and price .. We were at The Battery and wanted drinks and a light snack and decided to try National Anthem. The ambiance inside seemed nice, we ate outside and had to walk past the dining room to get to the patio. Food and service were good, but our server could have been more attentive. I think they forgot about us, I'm guessing because we were outside. We had to go in and ask the host for our check so we could finally leave. We had the fries, margarita, and rosé. read more

I'll say the ambiance was nice and the food was okay. But I hope you're not in a rush because the service was terrible. We waited 20 minutes before even being greeted and I hesitate to even say that because it was more like "what do you want to order" and that was it. Food came out cold and I watched the server just standing in the bev station not doing anything. Sat waiting for the check for almost an hour. Where was the manager you asked? Pro: clean and new. Friendly service. Con: $5 "latte" is no different from Waffle House coffee Experience might vary depending on when you visit. I was here on Sunday for breakfast wheee there were a total of 7 different parties present. If you're here during a baseball game, the level of service might differ. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. When I expressed disappointment in my "latte", the waiter offered to fix it. I have to talk about that $5 "latte" because it was the biggest disappointment of my whole experience. The latte is no different than a Waffle House coffee. Starbucks latte is better. I've had some good lattes recently so this failure is especially sore. I confirmed with the waiter that this was indeed a latte and not a coffee with cream. He offered to remake it with double shots. I declined because I don't think it would really be any different. But he offered, so thanks. If you're here, just get the coffee. They're probably the same thing here anyways. read more

Oof. Made a reservation for 7pm (though it wasn't needed cause they didn't seem busy at the time). Were seated immediately and drinks arrived within 15 min. Appetizer was received pretty quickly too. Server came by a couple times and finally took our entree order around 7:40/7:45. Did not receive our entrees until 830pm. One entree was wrong and didn't get the corrected one until close to 9pm. They had 2 larger parties (10+ ppl each) but wasn't super busy aside from that. There was 1 bartender, 2 (maybe 3) servers, and 1 chef (as our server told us). Incredibly short staffed on a Friday, especially if they knew larger parties had reservations. More people kept arriving, but multiple tables got up and left because service was so slow. This location has seen multiple iterations of failed restaurants and National Anthem is no exception. They can't seem to get it right here. Go to other restaurants in the Battery for faster & better service. read more

After waiting at the host stand for about 10 minutes in a completely empty restaurant, I eventually poked my head into the kitchen to see if there was anyone there. A server was hiding back there on their phone. I paid well over $30 for a very mediocre salad that was missing key ingredients. Well, once I got my bill that's what I paid. The server disappeared once again and I sat there waiting for a long time. No host or manager in sight either. No wonder no one else was dining there. I will never return. read more

This restaurant is a hidden gem at the Atlanta Battery, well worth trying if you're looking for a full service restaurant experience at a reasonable price, and the service is outstanding. The wait staff is very welcoming and friendly, especially Stephanie. My wife and I both ordered the chicken sandwich with fries, a very good choice; however, as a burger and fries left the kitchen en route to a hungry patron caught my eye our waitress Stephanie overheard me say, "Oh, now I wish I had ordered the burger...," much to our surprise, she brought us the burger and fries to share compliments of her and the restaurant manager. We absolutely loved this place. Wow - the food was incredible, the ambiance was perfectly Braves-themed, and the service was fantastic. The location is immediately outside of Truist Park, and you have a perfect view of the Battery courtyard and all the activity going on out there. The burgers here are phenomenal and far better than a typical burger at other restaurants. The salmon was absolutely delicious was impressive flavor combinations. The bar mixed a lemonade that was fantastic. Stephanie was our server and she was one of the best ever - she gave very candid, straightforward guidance for how to navigate the menu and was extremely attentive to us throughout our stay. One of the best servers we can ever remember having at a restaurant! Needless to say, anytime we're at The Battery Atlanta we will be eating at National Anthem restaurant! read more
