Two-egger with bacon and English muffin.

Lovely breakfast to start the weekend. Game and cheese Omlette with hash browns and an English muffin. Filling brunch. Also cooked and served quickly and with care every time. I moved about 25 minutes away and still drive in for this breakfast. The burgers are also tasty. The fries are thicker size and so good. Located conveniently on main street so easy to get to. Private parking lot with store on the end corner of the building. Seating inside is plentiful with a few tables outside as we often have great weather. Been going to this chain for many years in the Bay Area. Thankfully we have one around here. Note to owners: we need more locations in Sacramento area. Come see why this is good food for a happy tummy.

We get our delivery of chocolate cream pies once a month via DoorDash. Their seasonal pies are good! Strawberry to pumpkin.

Thats a bun, no a hamburger patty. Nearly burn to ash.

Should rename to: Nations "Mid" Burgers. We visit this location often for shakes and pie, and for the most part the quality is pretty consistent. The employees are never friendly, the atmosphere is a (get your food and get out) kind of vibe, yet we get our sugar fix. Tonight, on Christmas, we saw they were open so decided to try the food at this location. It was a mistake. The burgers were just bad, the buns were burnt to the point of being inedible. I dont get the hype anymore. The employees were not welcoming whatsoever. Normally people would be annoyed to be working on Christmas, but the employees all seemed to be Muslim (speaking Arabic and in Hijabs), so it should have been just a normal day for them, and yet none of them wanted to be there. Zero interaction, just get your food and get out of my face. The fries were soggy, hardly cooked. The burgers thrown together like it was a food competition and the buns were burnt nearly to ash. Nations was once a gem, the place you went for a consistently good burger and good customer service. Do not expect any of that here. Those cool stories you see on the wall, about a guy trading his beloved car for a burger stand and becoming a proud, reputable burger chain are over. Posted a photo of the bun, at first you will think its a burnt hamburger patty, but its actually the bun. Nearly $40 for 2 single burgers, 1 onion ring and 1 fries - and it was awful.

I don't know what happened to this place?? The last time we came here was about ten years ago and we loved the few times we've come here. It has that American diner vibe and we've always enjoyed coming here. We came for lunch since we were in the area. We were the only customers. The manager ran the register, there was one cook and an employee having her break. Hubs got the cheeseburger w/fries and a soda. I just had my usual the chilli dog with onions and cheese. The price has gone up, over $35 including tip. The manager was nice and friendly but this was the only positive thing about Nation's We waited a long time for our food, and when it came out, the cheeseburger and fries were very greasy! There was grease on the fry bag and grease all over the lettuce. My chilli dog was underwhelming. The chilli was salty and lacked spices. We both didn't finish our food, and that's rare when it comes to fast food. So disappointed that our visit was terrible and food has gone way down in quality.

First time trying nations and I knew right off the bat it was going to be a franchisee because of the Toast branded registers and food quality was going to vary. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. Prices are up there for food that is almost considered fast food. 13+ cheeseburger and fries and no drink. I got the cheeseburger with all the toppings and thousand island. It was pretty heavy and the burger was okay. Nothing spectacular or seasonings that make it different. It's comparable to a famous star from Carl's Jr... Being that the Carl's Jr burger is actually better lol Fries were warm, a bit ruberry in texture kinda like a McDonald's French fry is getting cold. Still edible though. No seasoning either. Now here's the problem I had: The BLT. I have never seen a blt with only two pieces of bacon only making it in the center. I was truly baffled and compelled to write this review. The blt cost close to 10 dollars and I know bacon can be quite costly but two pieces of bacon? No way. Straight robbery. Cheesecake was pretty bad too. The crust was very soft with really no consistency. The cheese was like melting becoming warm and had a bit of an artificial flavor with a hint of lemon??? Not worth what I paid better off going to store brand. Will not return to a nation's anytime soon. You are better off at denny's

Oh my gosh, I forgot just how good Nation's burgers are.... If I recall, their pies are equally delicious! The fries were fresh and hot, and the order came out quickly. The ladies working were very friendly and professional and they prepared and served the food quickly and efficiently! The dining room has lots of nostalgic pictures and photos, it's clean and everything is well stocked. I plan to visit Nations more often, I can't believe I've missed out on enjoying their food for probably a decade or more... If you haven't been in a while, you should pay them a visit!

Lunch Time with wife and daughters. Nation's has their Strawberry Dessert all lined up! Plus other pie flavors arw in the house.

Location is decent. Corner of Sunrise Blvd & Alta Sunrise. Though keep in mind. Parking stalls are tight! The food. Aside from this 21st Century mentality of health, fitness, proper food/dietary needs. It's old school diner burger eatery. It is all about comfort food. Once you enter you can smell what's cooking. The menu is simple. Breakfast, Lunch, Desserts. Its a place to chill with no frills. Sit with friends just talk and enjoy the comfort food. Foods you see at a backyard BBQ. A Summer gathering or potluck. Beach or Lake Picnic BBQ. Just drop by and give it try. Enjoy!!

How much is the strawberry pie?

I forgot but I think it was around $14.00. Worth every penny.

It was the only thing in the world I wanted…read more I looked for places near me to get one, because I didn't wanna make it myself and this restaurant popped up. I have thought about trying it for sometime, and Sunday was the day. I got my person off of his computer game and we drove down to a decently busy drive through, so we decided to go inside as we wanted to review the menu anyways. The restaurant was clean and cute, almost set up like a little diner. THIS PLACE HAS EVERYTHING. or at least every fast food type item I wanted to see on the menu. We ordered chicken strip basket, a jalapeño burger, a chocolate shake and fried zucchini. There was at least 40 other things on the menu that I wanted to order, but figured this was a solid order for our first time. There was a little confusion with the cashier over the jalapeño burger, but I refuse to dock stars for a cashier who looked like they were still in training. The important part of the mix up, was the chef came out to clarify exactly what we wanted, so it was never really a problem to begin with. That chocolate shake has been living in my head rent free ever since, because it was perfect. The jalapeño burger (we ended up with 3 patties instead of two, per the menu confusion) basically brought tears to my partners eyes because it was so perfect. And they actually season their fries!!! I would give 6 stars if I could. Don't sleep on this gem. Whether you would call it a drive in or just fast food it is AWESOME.

We've had Burger Shack on our list for a while. We love stopping by old school drive in type burger…read moreshops for a no frills, just good food experience. We stopped in later in the evening for dinner and got the mushroom cheeseburger combo ($12.99), the Pastrami Cheeseburger combo ($14.99), cheese curds ($5.99) and fried okra ($5.99). They gave us our drinks right away and they have the nice crushed ice that's like tiny pebbles. It's always a treat when a spot has this ice because it's tiny and crunchy and not offered a lot. The food didn't take too long and came out on a tray for our dine in experience. There are plenty of booths here and during our visit there were a lot of other people enjoying meals in small groups and couples. The food was hot and fresh and the fries were nicely cooked crinkle cut fries. The fried okra as good, but needed a bit more seasoning or sauce to dip (we had ranch). The cheese curds were great, hot and the cheese was perfectly melty. My husband got the mushroom cheeseburger with just mushrooms, cheese, pickles and added bacon. He said it was a good burger and satisfied his craving, but isn't something he'd specifically seek out. I got the pastrami burger with everything on it and thought it was delicious, but the pastrami was a bit overcooked and dried out so the texture was a bit hard to bite through with the burger and I found myself eating the pastrami separately from the burger. There's plenty of parking here and they have a drive through. I heard the milkshakes are great, so if we stop by again we'll try one.

I was in the neighborhood so I decided to try this place again. The place is still very bright and clean, and the menu hasn't changed. A wide selection of a lot of different things. Primarily, crêpes and burgers. (of course) I decided to go with the Greek crepe. Cheddar, onions, feta, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and black olives. For my side, I chose the salad. Just as good as before. First of all, the salad, the greens were very fresh, and the vinaigrette had a nice tang to it. It was not overdressed as some people do on salads. The crêpe itself, it was tender, and it was large. They were very generous with the fillings, and everything played well with each other. I was kind of curious about mixing feta and cheddar, but it was amazingly good. The saltines of the feta was a wonderful contrast to the creaminess of the cheddar cheese. Both cheeses went well with the entire crêpe. I was going to try one of the dessert crêpes, but after this thing, I was full. Next time I will come in specifically for a dessert crêpe. Thanks again for another great meal
