I've been coming to Nationwide Vision for a few years now and the reason I keep coming back is because of people like Fiery and Dr. Aaroon Truong. Fiery is amazing. She is kind, patient, and really takes her time with you. She helped me pick out glasses after I bought my contacts and made the whole process feel easy and actually enjoyable. You can tell she cares. Dr. Truong is just as great. Very professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. He explains everything clearly and runs an efficient exam without making you feel rushed. You feel like you are in very good hands. He is the best. Highly recommended. The office overall is very professional. There was a small moment at the front desk with some paperwork confusion and the interaction was not the warmest from Natalie, but it felt like an off moment and not reflective of the rest of the team. Overcharged and completely disorganized experience. I was told my visit would be $30 and ended up being charged $78, with an additional $17 still "owed" that was never clearly explained. It has been over two months and I still have not received my contact or glasses prescriptions despite multiple requests and phone calls. My trial contacts also took nearly a month to arrive, even though I was told they weren't there for weeks when they actually were. Now I'm being told I must return in person to finish my contact fitting to receive my prescription, which was never disclosed upfront, despite already being charged for the fitting. I no longer live in the state, so this is not even feasible. Unorganized, inconsistent, and unacceptable communication from start to finish. read more

I usually hate the eye doctor. I would only wear glasses at night so majority of the time I don't have any contacts/glasses on. Luckily, I came across Nationwide Vision! I came in for a check up with Dr. Anthony Drew and he dialed me in. Ordered new contacts, chose a brand new pair of Ray-Ban prescription glasses. Finally got them in and I love them! I've started wearing my contacts during the day and I can't believe how much of a difference it makes. I was so comfortable with how I could see that I didn't even know I needed them. This place is super professional. They have great availability and can get us in as soon as we call. My sister just went in for a check up and will be wearing glasses for the first time. My dad said he'll be going in as well for a check up and a new pair of reading glasses! Our family is very impressed with this establishment! read more

The office at 4025 S Gilbert Rd in Chandler may be the worst of all. I am in my 70's and have been around the block many times but this place takes the cake. First of all its small with only 1 Doctor and Second their eye glass manager is old and does not know enough about glasses. She could not answer some of my questions regarding the lens and she never said anything about different pairs I might have been wearing. AFTER 3 weeks and the glasses not in yet, I called three times over 2 days and nobody returned my call. The next week I called 3 more times on a Monday and no answer and the answering machine did NOT say they were closed. But the best of this is that when I finally got them to answer and speak with somebody I cancelled the order since the glasses was still not in - this was July 3l, 2024. Then to add insult to injury I got annoyed because I have to go back to the office to give my credit card so I can get my refund and then I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A $40.00 restocking fee. First of all I never heard of a restocking fee on glasses - I have been to over 10 eye glass companies in my 70 years and never paid for a restocking or changing of glasses. The best is I never even got the glasses neither did they - the glasses did not come yet and I have to pay a $40 fee to restock them. What BS is that. I write this review only because NW Vision could care less about good communication & customer care. On 5/10/21 online I booked an appointment for Tuesday 5/18/21, received email that someone would call to confirm within 24 hrs. No call, on 5/12/21 I called to follow up, left a VM, late in the day on 5/13/21 received a call from someone at NW Vision stating they heard my VM, stated they were having phone & internet issues but that my request for an appointment on 5/18/21 was good & once their issues went away hopefully by 5/14/21 they'd call me to confirm. Again no call to confirm! Since I was away over the weekend upon my return I called 1st thing Tuesday 5/18/21, the girl I spoke to new NOTHING about my appointment request, couldn't give me an appointment in the next 3 days and then hung up on me while trying to see when I could get an appointment. Sorry they had phone & internet issues but they seem untrained on how to handle customers when issues arise, no planning no follow up nothing. He fixed me up with new glasses (and took the time to make sure I got the right frames for my face), and ordered me a box of contacts. This is by far the best Nationwide I've been to. I made an appointment to get new contact lenses well over a month ago and they have continued to mess up the shipping and now they told me my contacts won't be delivered until Almost 6 WEEKS a full month and a half after i was in there. Totally not okay and extremely frustrating. If i knew it was going to take me almost 2 months after my visit to receive my contacts i would have gone somewhere else. I immediately sent it to them and they have failed to contact me back. So they want the appearance that they care but they don't. Such an unprofessional place. Got there at noon for my appt made 2 weeks in advance. They told me Dr wasn't going to be there, they had tried to call me to cancel that morning (3 hours before my appt) but my voicemail was full. I asked if that normally happens that they would just cancel an appt 3 hours before it and she said it happens when drs are needed in other offices. I came here for an eyeglass prescription since I felt like mine changed a little bit. The people that work here are really friendly and they don't mind answering any type of questions you might have about your eyes. I ordered glasses 12 "business days" ago and was told 10-12 business days. I just called and they say they are still in "lab" for a few more days so expect end of next week. Seriously? How is it that Lens Crafters and Vision Works can have them in about an hour and it takes these people well over 12 business days?
