One of my friends lives in the community behind this shopping center at Mission Place and so I wanted to try this nail salon since I'm often in the area. My usual nail tech was out of town so I tried something new. Booked my appointment online and got a full gel set. Great selection of gel polish available. Pricing was reasonable about $60 and is also according to length and shaping. Pleasant customer service experience. Not too much small talk just the way I like it with minimal conversation. I was able to listen to a podcast while my nails were being done. Service was decent as I was seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time. Restroom was clean. The location is easy to find but there is limited parking in the lot since most of the spaces are for future resident parking, however the building is attached to a free garage so that was really nice. UPDATE: This time around I decided to get regular manicure and pedicure. The staff are still friendly and asked if I wanted something to drink. I was the only person there the whole time I was there so shouldn't have felt the need to rush. My pedicure was good but manicure I wasn't very pleased. When I go to a nail salon, I want to be able to tell the nail technician what I want once and expect them to follow through without me having to constantly look over their work and just relax. I asked for round nail shape but they look uneven (both in shape and length). The technician shook the nail bottle so vigorously and now I have bunch of bubbles on my nails. Honestly I felt that because I'm not their "regular" customer they don't really care about doing their best work. I think I gave this place enough chances...time to move on. *********************************************************** I made my appointment online, which was pretty convenient. You can choose the date, time and the person you want doing your nails. The parking is limited right outside the nail salon but I believe you can park in the garage next door. The staff is friendly and attentive. The nails were ok. They should have done another coat of nail polish for my pedicure because I can see my nails in some spots. I asked them to do silver glitter near the cuticles like the picture I showed them but they couldn't do it right so I just had them paint the whole nail with it. Also some of the nails are not straight so I had to file it down and straighten it myself. I really should have taken a closer look before I left but I was running late on my errands. I didn't do anything fancy so I can't really asses their "artistic" abilities too much. I got the gel manicure and regular pedicure, with silver glitter on my big toe and my thumbs and ring fingers, which cost me $65. They have mood nail polish (color changing nail polish), so I think I might try that out if I decide to go back next time. Dare I say that I've found my new nail spot? I think it's a go... I absolutely love my new set! I visited on Monday 1/27/2020 and I'm glad I did, Delina is a breath oof fresh air! She was working alone and when I walked in while she had someone in the back getting a pedicure and someone in her chair doing their nails. Clearly she was busy but because of the other great reviews I read plus the ambiance being so inviting I didn't Mind waiting! Once she was ready for me she grabbed my colors and then placed a hot pillow on my neck! I've never had this done before and I was so happy that she offered this service because I worked out early that day and my body was a bit sore! One if the main reasons I was looking for a new place was because I moved and my previous salon didn't have enough color options for me to drive 15 mins to get a fill. Her color selection is abundantly robust and she has all of the the new in style options, such as Crome and holographic! This is what I had been missing! I did pay a bit more than what I pay at my old spot but I do feel that it was worth it! Not to mention I'm super particular about shaping and Delina did not disappoint! I scheduled an appointment for two gel manicures at 9 am a couple days ago. My sister and I were disappointed when there was only one nail tech when we arrived and we were asked who would go first. When I scheduled the appointment, I didn't realize two manicures at 9 am meant one at 9 am and another at 10 am. Slightly annoying, but decided it was fine and proceeded with our manicures. During my manicure, the nail tech cut my finger (shown in the picture) with the nail file. She said sorry and that it was because my hands were too dry. Again, slightly annoying, but I said it was fine and finished my manicure. After my manicure was done and we were going to check out, our nail tech asked the receptionist if she could charge me more for nail "design". I did not realize that getting two different colors was considered a "design". Thankfully, the receptionist said they couldn't charge more for this. However, we were charged $36 each and now that I look on their website (because I didn't see the prices listed out at the salon), I see the collagen manicure is $35. I'm pretty sure we didn't get any collagen treatment, though I'm not sure what that entails. While I realize a $1 difference isn't much, I'm just wondering why there's a discrepancy at all.. or why we were charged more for a collagen manicure when we didn't ask for that. As far as COVID precautions, they did check our temperature when we entered and we were asked to wash our hands. The nail tech also disinfected the counter between my sister's manicure and mine. read more

They're extremely clean, well organized, and efficient / quick. I had Kelly and she was welcoming and not a chit-chatty person, which I liked. She was gentle and left me with a very clean/crisp manicure. They take your nail grooming tools from a sealed package (so hygienic!), they have their sample colors very well organized, and they do their pedicures in the chair rather than on the floor. This may seem common-sense typical practice, but I've been to several other nail salons who did not do these things. Pedicures on the floor and nail tools grabbed from a jumbled drawer. I came in with awful lumpy SNS that was less than a week old and was already popping off, these ladies worked magic and treated my nails like they were royalty. This is the nicest my nails have ever looked after getting them done. I usually don't even bother because I'm always disappointed after I get home, but these are absolutely flawless, FLAWLESS! I saw Kelly who is one of the managers I believe and she was amazing, I also saw Delina for a short while and she was so good to me. This is now these only place I'll trust with my nails. Ps. I'm not sure how much SNS usually costs but theirs with the removal of my old one was $48? I went to this nail salon with my best friend,due to her recommendation. I had a manicure and pedicure done. While I recieved the service, the lady doing my pedicure nicked me several times and made me bleed. She put alcohol on it amd acted as if nothing happened. I picked out a dark color and while it looked nice on my toes it was not the best I've ever had. When I came to get my manicure, she attempted to use the same tools she used on my feet for my hands...gross. The manicure was nice, even though it chipped 3 days later. Fast forward a day later, my big toe was swollen and it hurt to walk. I went to urgent care and it was infected.... I wonder how? Now, my nails look worse than what they did before. I will not be coming here or spedning any more money here. The shop is nice,but I can't seeing risking my health at the same place that caised my toenail to become infected. read more

Went on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm there was only one tech there, she was really nice and sweet, she was with a customer finishing up a full set, and she said to wait about 15 mins, which turned into 25. I waited since I just moved out here and wanted to try the nail place closest to my home. The nail tech did not speak much English, so when I asked her questions the language barrier made it hard to ask for what I really wanted to remove my acrylic and start using powder dip on my real nails. I first started going to their Ellicott City location and was thrilled when they opened the new Jessup location as it is much more convenient for me. I went in on a Friday morning for a pedicure, I chose the Ocean Wave Deluxe pedicure. From the moment I walked in the door the staff was very kind and attentive. The constantly checked on me to ensure I was receiving good service and didn't need anything. The pedicure itself was amazing!! The technician had great massage skills and took her time as opposed to rushing through that part, when I get a pedicure that is the part I look forward to most. I actually told the technician I needed to bring my husband in so she could show him how to give a proper foot massage lol The aromatherapy smelled great and didn't wear off quickly, it lasted up until I took a shower the next morning. I found out about this nail salon through Yelp. Seemed like a decent place to go and get my nails done. My friend and I had scheduled an appointment prior to our arrival. We got there, selected our nail colors, etc. The lady who took me (who's name I regret not asking) did not have good customer service skills. She seemed SO annoyed when she was taking off my prior nail color (probably because it was taking longer than expected) but that's not my fault.... and the look on her face said it all... Once she started doing my nails and cleaning my cuticles, she was being super rough and I didn't appreciate that. She just seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else but here. Last but not least, the prices that are posted on their website are inaccurate as I got a gel manicure and paid $45 and on their website says $35. That's false advertisement right there. After a long hiatus from regular nail services, I decided to try a new place out. There are many shops locally, some with dedicated clients raving about techs masters in the latest trends, however, I will not deal with elitist or "im bothering you" attitudes, but I digress. I made an appointment online, and they called me shortly before my appointment to inform me they were running a little behind. I appreciated the courtesy. I was greeted right away, and waited about 10 minutes. The tech waa friendly and apologetic for the wait. I explained that I wanted a short full set, and I showed her a picture of the nail shape i wanted and she was upfront about an upcharge. She gave me options for different products. She did an excellent job sculpting my nails and filed gently...it didnt hurt like it sometimes can! She then brought me over to soak my feet and explained that she would finish after my pedi. A second tech did my pedi. I opted for the deluxe. I did not notice the aromatherapy scent at all. Chair was comfortable, massage remote in good and working condition. Plus! Unfortunately, I didnt get names, but the woman who did my feet did a fantastic job! Gently scrubbed, decaloused, and clipped. Perfect amount of pressure to avoid feeling like being power sanded or tickeled. Heavenly reflexology massage, great paint job. I was taken back to the mani area immediately. The tech confirmed what I wanted, and gasp, ZERO attitude that I wanted different color gels AND i forgot the number! I appreciate that! End result, my nails look fantastic. My cuticles were in horrible shape and she somehow worked magic with minimal manipulation. Only thing I did miss was no hand cream and hand massage to close the service which I am accustom to. Overall, I'll be back. Both techs were friendly, not over chatty. I appreciate that they were mindful of my time as well. Prices average. Shop is clean, bright and tastefully furnished. read more

I've been coming here every two weeks for the last 6 months. It's hard to find a good nail place that listens to you and Heathers is great! They have a large selection of gel polish, regular polish, and dipping powders. The work is done pretty quickly but they also pay attention to details. Pedicures are thorough and relaxing. I've had tips and acrylic nails for the longest but Heather's helped me transition to grow out my natural nails. There is no rush here. It's a very relaxing atmosphere and a very clean, pretty environment. On one occasion, I wasn't satisfied with my nails and returned to the salon the next day. Heather made sure I was satisfied with my nails before I left and I didn't pay for the repairs. I came specifically because the do SNS (dipping powder). Donnie was was gentle and patient with me. I had a nice glass of wine while I got my feet done.
