It's a little stand and there are breads galore, croissants, quiche, cookies... the whole nine yards! I am prepared to try them all. Yesterday I got the sandwich (hot salami and provolone) and brought it into work for lunch. I kid you not, 6 people came up to me, "woah. That looks like a good sandwich." Soooo many people. "WOW that's a huge sandwich!" And boy was it good. Best sandwich I've had hands down. I also got the chocolate and walnut roll and a cookie. Both were decadent and delicious and need to be studied. How are they so good? I went back again today and got both again. Can't help it! They're so good! I also got a ham and cheese croissant roll and a loaf of cheddar herb bread. I went overboard but... it's so good. And now I'm drooling while typing this. And I'm not the only one who feels like this!! The line was so long. At 8 am when they opened there was a line down the street. 8:30 am it was even longer! I was shocked. But not really because who wouldn't want fresh bread. But the line moved pretty fast and it the service was quick! I need to chill on buying bread. But at the same time, bread is life. And more specifically, bread from Nightingale Bread is life. The staff is incredibly friendly all the time. In fact I even asked if they sold their sour dough starter and they gave some to me for free and took time to tell me all about it. Even though it can be a bit busy, the line goes fast. There isnt a spot to sit down at the bakery itself but there is a coffee shop right next door that welcomes it (and the coffee goes well with it). I will be going here super often!

I stopped in on a Saturday morning and bought a couple of treats for a friend with celiac and couldn't resist getting a black forest cupcake for myself to try too. I appreciated the conversation with the owner- she assured me that their baked goods are safe for people with celiac disease, because she said all of the people working there also have celiac disease! They have strict procedures they follow for everything they bring into their shop. Their website is great. They are open Thursday-Monday and closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. They are located in the back corner of the strip mall on Dublin and Union (I think where the pretzel place used to be). My friend inhaled the black forest cupcake I bought for her and was SO excited to have something yummy and safe for her to eat. I loved my cupcake too- wow- perfect flavors and texture. I look forward to trying more of their pastries soon. They have donuts, cinnamon rolls, scones, tarts, muffins, cupcakes and cakes, bread and even have fancy French pastries that are gluten free, and what they offer rotates each day and week.
