One thing that was funny to us is that we felt like the photos on the menu looked smaller than the portions that actually arrived. My friend ordered the Greens and a Bowl thinking it would be small, and she realized very quickly that she was going to need a takeout box for her salad. I was wrong because, while I was waiting for our food, a man who had been in line behind us came up and grabbed one of them. Shortly after that, I noticed a woman came into the café as I was getting some napkins eating a bagel sandwich. That was an even bigger shock because she had come in at least ten minutes after us. On top of that the cashier seemed incredibly annoyed with us when we asked questions about the menu and made substitutions. But, it's not a house brew, it's basic Third Street Chai you buy off the shelf at the local grocer, chef supply, or natural foods store :( To their credit, they heat it up well and top it with a fancy cinnamon design on the milk foam. When asked if there is a local chai, the barista (who is a chai fan) couldn't think of any. This explains why the local reviews were so good for mediocre concentrate. While the chai quest was a miss here in SLO, Kreuzberg is still a pretty cool spot, with a fun, social vibe, friendly, helpful staff, and some tasty looking items on their menu (just not a stop for chai).

Only downside was the price but if you add the quality service, cleanliness, vibe and atmosphere...the value is there.
