    Nauti Bowl
    Colleen L.

Açaí bowls are a new to me thing and Nautical Bowls is the only place I've had one. But they are super delicious, refreshing, and an awesome alternative to traditional sweets. I ordered a Nauti bowl: Açaí, Pitaya, Granola, Banana, Cacao Nibs, Peanut Butter. I wasn't planning on eating it right away and was saving it for the following day's breakfast. The owners were great and put the granola, cacao nibs, and peanut butter on the side and also explained how to preserve the integrity of the bowl for the freshest experience. The following morning I enjoyed a super delicious breakfast and I wish I would've ordered more. They have a variety of bowl options depending on your needs and preferences or you can make your own. The portions are good sized. The smallest offering is 10oz and it's pretty big. They do have 5oz sizes that would be perfect for catering a party or office gathering. I will definitely be back!

Stopped in for the spring bowl and got a paddle bowl for tomorrow too! It was delicious and full of so many toppings. The service was great like always. I love how quiet it is whenever I go in, but the lack of people worries me for the business owners. I want them to succeed! Always always telling people about them.

Dinghy (12 oz) protein bowl...just gorgeous!

I hadn't visited Nautical Bowls for a while so today I decided to swing by and try something new, This time I ordered the Dinghy (12 oz size) Protein Bowl. It was fantastic! The banana and other toppings made the bowl art for the eyes. I loved the flavor of this bowl which was a lot less sweet than the others I have tried. The peanut butter was the real deal and coupled with the granola, pb protein crumbles, chia and hemp was a substantial breakfast. I checked out the nutritional information and was happy to see that it had grams of protein as well as 19 grams of fiber. I also have the app so I earned "anchors" toward s future purchase! The place was clean. There was plenty of help and the service was efficient.

After seeing them all over my Instagram, I figured it was time to give them a try! There are several curated bowls on the menu, with the option to create your own. In addition, they have a few smoothie style drinks (blenders), coffee, and soft drinks. I opted for one of the fan favorites, as I hadn't ever been. I had the paddle bowl - a base of pitaya (dragonfruit) and blue majik (a spirulina coconut-pineapple mix) that's topped with granola, fruit, and honey. It was delightfully sweet (without being overly so) and the granola added a good crunch. I enjoyed it as a lunch, but really it felt like I was eating a treat! The dinghy size (smallest, aside from the 5 oz) was a good amount for me, though they do have two larger sizes. The space was very open and well lit. The beach theme makes for a relaxing space, with a handful of tables and bar top height options available. Service was good - my bowl was carefully crafted and they explained the reward system and app (and got me signed up and applied my purchase) -- heads up you can get a free bowl after a purchase when signing up!

I have been coming in weekly since I found out about this place! I absolutely love that this isn't just a breakfast, lunch or dessert stop it's all of the above. Or maybe you just want a light and health snack after a workout. They offer a wide variety or toppings that range from fruit to fresh nut butters. So far my favorite bowl has been the paddle bowl which starts with a layer of coconut, mango, then the wonderful blue majik, topped with granola and strawberry with coconut flakes and honey to add a little sweetness. For just $10 my partner and I can split one and leave full and happy ready to take out the rest of our day. Definitely download their app for exclusive deals and earn your way to a free bowl!

Definitely will be back! Grand opening was great! The bowls were delicious. Loved the blue majic which was new for me. Service was friendly and quick and the decor was clean and cool! Lots of parking available and just a short walk in. Great addition for the area.

We thought, why not try something new. Maybe it will be delicious! And we heard they might have vegan options! (They didn't.) First impression: the place is empty. I point out the sign at the front that says "GET READY TO HAVE SOME UN" and raise my eyebrows and my hungry wife manages a smile. I couldn't wait to find out what having some UN means! I'd like to see you guys eat a salad without a fork by the way. We scanned menu, saw nothing vegan IN THE YEAR 2026 AD and asked about vegan options. We were told there's vegetarian options but we are so hungry at this point why not try it. After all, this is supposed to be the best burger in Overland Park. There's the avocado taco (it has aioli on it tho thats probably not vegan) and they used to have a "portobello taco", but it got taken off the menu, and besides, to make it vegan you apparently have to take off the pesto and the cheese, leaving you with a mushroom and a piece of arrrrrugula on a dry tortilla, because 100% of sauces are animal based. It's Kansas City just put some barbecue sauce on it or something. They have an Impossible Burger, with which we are familiar, but the bun is an "egg bun" and for the vegan burger you get a gluten free cardboard bun, lettuce, tomato, zero condiments, and no salt or pepper, and you'll EAT IT AND LIKE IT. Come on, give me my gluten! I know you have only met 1 vegan in your life but most vegans aren't gluten free! We want just a regular bun is that too much to ask?! In 2026?! Is the UN for unseasoned? Un Bun? Unsatisfying menu? Does the UN allude to when the United Nations sanctioned this burger for war crimes? Look it up, 2018. So we got the Impossible Burger and truffle fries (fries sold separately because this country is going into the toilet) and sat down. Food came out fast enough. Fast AND casual. My wife almost burst into tears when she bit into the burger, not tears of joy either. She recalled a terminally ill patient that she had, in order to feel better about this burger. I said come on, cant be that bad. I took a bite and the complex flavors took me back in time to when I was a little lad, in the elementary school cafeteria line, being bullied by the other kids, being yelled at to hurry up by the wrinkly lunch lady as she slopped a bland half frozen meat puck onto the dishwater wet surface of my plastic lunch tray. Ahhh yes, this un-seasoned un-flavored un-glutened un-burger tasted just like that memory. And what's this! A bonus hair in the truffle fries! Unclean! Unwashed? Or underwear hair? It did taste like truffles... Either way, unbelievable. We choked down the best burger that the culinary Mecca of Overland Park has to offer, like the hungry little piggies we were, and left, unappetized and undignified. Avocado taco was alright though. If i had to rate the "truffle fries", I would be forced to go with the Unrated Edition, on account of the "seasoned curlies" I found in there. Now, in post-burger clarity, one can only wonder: if you asked the staff at Unforked for a fork, would they fork it over or do they just not give a fork?

When we told her it was our first visit to the restaurant, she took the time to carefully go over the menus with us (regular, happy hour, and drinks), providing her recommendations when we asked. Her guidance was spot-on-target! For drinks, I had a Mindful Chai and my friend had the 3-Beverage Flight (Golden Hour, Heart Says Thanks, and Tres Raices). My chai was the BEST I have ever tasted (and I order chai every chance I get!), and my friend loved her 3 drinks (she said Tres Raices was her favorite). For our food, we split an order of the Not Queso Dip and the Avocado Tostadas. We were both very impressed by how fresh the ingredients were, and the blend of flavors in each dish that created a unique and yummy taste. The Kitchen has an open, airy layout that inspires deep breathing, while the arrangement and spacing of tables still provides for intimacy of conversation and minimal ambient noise. Sofhia checked back with us several times during our meal to ensure we had everything we needed and were thoroughly enjoying our food and drink (we were!). It was a delightful meal, and we thank Sofhia, the kitchen staff, and everyone at Whole Harvest Kitchen for such a lovely time. We'll be back!!

For our drinks we orders 'Have a Cigar' and a low sugar mocktail they created for me. Both were made very well and were super refreshing. For our mains, we ordered, 'Black Cardamon Burnt ends', 'Tandoori Chicken' and 'Smash burger with peri peri fries' and for desert we ordered the parle g mango ice-cream' sandwich with some aromatic chai. My most favorite dish out of all were the burnt ends - they had a superb fusion flavor of Indian spices which went well with the meat and paired well with the grits. Trust me when i say this that i would eat this everyday for the rest of my life if i could. The smash burger and peri peri fries were excellent and definitely hit the spot. The real disappointed was with Tandoori chicken. I felt the chicken did not pair well with the sambar risotto and the fried okra even though it tasted good, was an after thought. The rice in the risotto was very grainy and undercooked. I told that to our server and they instantly apologized and acknowledged the issue and also proceeded to remove the dish from our bill. After that the chai was very warm and comforting and the parle g ice-cream biscuits were nostalgic and a great way to finish the meal. While not every dish was perfect, i love the excellent customer service they provided and the way the owner/manager/staff handled our feedback. I will be back to try more food here - 5/5.

We were seated on time at a table next to the bar-side of the dining room. Speaking of the dining room, it's a nice, if standard size for a strip-mall space, but I really appreciated that the tables were not stacked on top of each other, as seems to be the case at more and more places these days. It felt like there might be some chance of our entire conversation not being completely overheard by our neighbors, which was nice for a change! Our waitress was fantastic! She walked us through the menu, the restaurant's approach to cooking and seasonality, some of her faves, and made wonderful recommendations! We decided to split a few small plates, which was a great approach! We got to try about 1/3 of the small plate menu, and loved it all! It was all great, but the Black Cardamom Burnt Ends are NOT to be missed! It made my cardamom-loving, Midwest soul very, very happy indeed! The space is a really nice size - not massive or overwhelming - and with the shades drawn down (to seal out the late afternoon sun, thank goodness!) and dim lighting, the mood vibes were solid for a romantic anniversary dinner! The other ambiance item of note is that the restroom corridor smelled absolutely fantastic! Upon investigation, it was due to a burning candle from a lovely local-KC company that was custom made for the restaurant! Yes, they're for sale, and yes, we picked up two! While everything was lovely and the food was very good, you're definitely paying a high price for it. Not that it's not deserved, but the "value" feels aren't necessarily "off the charts", by any means. And that is really my only critique, if there is any at all! Food = 5/5 Facility = 4/5 Service = 5/5 Ambiance = 4/5 Value = 3/5
