Naxos is definitely the place to take aesthetic pictures in, however it is not the place to go when you are looking to get full. The portions of what I ordered and what my cousins ordered were simply laughable. I ordered an octopus appetizers and only received one octopus leg, my cousins ordered steaks and the size would make you think that being called a cow is not an insult anymore. There was simply no reason for everything to be that small. Nevertheless it was good. The food was not bad, but we were not full. Only two people at the table were full, one ordered a red snapper which was delicious and pretty big while the other ordered lamb chops. Me and my cousins ordered again and the portion were still small but at least we were somewhat full. The servers are great and understanding. read more

Just wow! The food was delicious. The ambiance was 10/10, and our server Matthew was great! He was attentive and suggested options to help us choose our dishes since it was our first time there. For apps my friend had the hummus, and I ordered the chicken meatballs which had the original gyro flavor. It came with soft pita which allowed me to grab some chicken and eat it with some of the sauce. To die for! The main course I had the branzino and my friend ordered the halibut. The halibut was cooked perfectly and had a nice hint of garlic to it. It was paired with fresh lemoney garlic fingerling potatoes which were also delish. The branzino is filleted and I chose asparagus as my side. Very nice and flaky which I liked. For dessert we shared the pistachio Fred leches which was yummmy. Just the right amount of sweetness and had a nice crème fresh filling sitting atop a milky heaven. Definitely recommend. If you want a hint of the Mediterranean but don't have a passport. Come here asap! You won't be disappointed. For drinks I had the Eros and my friend had an old fashioned. Both were strong but the Eros had a good passion fruit twist which I enjoyed. read more

Made reservations for 3 on a weekend for 5:30pm. Restaurant is very spacious, has good ambiance, it can get a bit dim. There is a photo spot right by the restrooms by the alcove. Honestly, photo spots are everywhere in the restaurant. For appetizers we ordered tartar: the chip was too thin to hold everything but it does not affect the taste of the dish. Ceviche: it was more than we expected and tastes really fresh. Octopus: it was just one tentacle, not a fan but one of my friend loved it. The texture was like chewy chicken breast. Hummus: it was good!! It would be nice if they warmed up the pita breads. We also got greek fries on the side. It was thick and good! For main dish, we ordered halibut and lamb chop. Halibut comes with fingerling potatoes and tomatoes. Lamb chops was three pieces and it comes with a half lemon with rosemary as a decor. When we arrived, there were a few tables celebrating birthdays and some date nights happening, but plenty of open tables as well. It wasn't dead silent, but it also wasn't the lively, packed energy we were anticipating. The music, however, was great -- a mix that matched the Greek and Latin fusion aesthetic perfectly. Let's start with the ambiance: absolutely beautiful. The space feels upscale yet warm -- soft lighting, earthy tones, elegant décor that makes it feel like you're dining somewhere along the Mediterranean coast. It's a stunning setting for a date night or celebration. Now for the food -- which truly delivered. We started with two rounds of the Ero's Dart cocktail. That said, the drinks were served in what felt like half-filled glasses, which was disappointing considering they're $20 each. For that price point, you expect a fuller pour. It was comforting and flavorful without being heavy. You can tell it was cooked with patience and intention. We also ordered the Kotopoulo with a side of asparagus. The asparagus was cooked just right -- vibrant green, still slightly crisp, and lightly seasoned to complement the dish rather than overpower it. They didn't have the N.Y. Strip available that evening and were offering Wagyu instead, which was a noticeable swap. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to keep in mind if you go in expecting specific cuts and price point. Service was truly one of the highlights of the night. Matthew and Ela were amazing -- attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made us feel taken care of without hovering. Just a heads up when reviewing your bill: there is an automatic 18% guest gratuity already included. You're absolutely welcome to tip more (which we felt Matthew and Ela deserved), but be mindful so you're not surprised. Also note that tips are shared among the staff and don't go directly to your specific waiter or waitress. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was flavorful and beautifully prepared, the ambiance was stunning, and the service was top-tier. We just wished the energy in the room matched the vibe the space deserves. The problem with these new establishments is that they are money hungry and make everything an issue. It was my birthday and I booked a reservation for 4 people. I got there 10 minutes before my reservation time and was told that they cannot sit me until the entire party is there. Mind you it's just FOUR of us and they were five minutes away. Anyways when everybody arrived they still took a while to seat us even though it was a Wednesday and NAXOS was empty. Only two other tables were dining. I am a licensed baker and made my own cake they stated that there was a $7 PER PERSON "cake cutting fee". Definitely not for a cake I slaved to make the morning of my special day. To me that was insane so I put the cake back in the car. Then we were taking pictures and a Hispanic man (I'm not sure if this was the manager or supervisor) came over with a nasty demeanor and told us verbatim that "this is not how they do things here, they do business first and how we have to order our food before taking pictures". Now I could understand if it was the weekend and the restaurant was packed so the kitchen was backed up or going to close soon but none of this was the case. It was 7 pm on a Wednesday be so forreal. That turnt me off so badly that I left and went across the street to fushimi! Had a lovely time, amazing service and no "cake cutting fee". The appetizers were so well balanced and the flavor profiles were clearly put together by a team who knows what they're doing. I had the tonos tartar and my husband had the arni-pita. Both were a 10/10 and could stand alone. For our main course I had the halibut and my husband went with the Brizola. We shared fries and even those were incredible. Our waitress only came to our table twice during the entire time we were there, which was about 2 1/2 hours. When we received the bill, we also noticed that gratuity had been added twice. The mixed ceviche tasted way better and was not frozen though so I'm not sure whats happening there in the kitchen. We also had the lamb empanadas which were ok, nothing special. We also had the calamari, which ended up being my favorite thing there-- it wasnt overcooked and it was crispy with good breading. We also had some lamb chops and they were also just ok. They werent the best I've ever had, and they werent overcooked or anything that negative, but they werent completely flavorful either- just middle of the road. But it was a good portion size. We had that with a side order of ordinary steak fries that definitely lacked salt or any flavor. Overall nothing I ate here warranted another visit, and it was just another place that is more for the aesthetic than anything else. Service was slow even though it was not busy. I had my water refilled once only during dessert. My other party had ordered cocktails and they didn't have any strong feelings about their drinks, except that the passion fruit one was pretty sour. When we ordered a dessert- baklava- they did not do anything special at all for the birthday, even though we told them about it before we were seated. On top of that, they never asked about allergies and the dessert came with blueberries which the birthday girl was allergic to. She couldnt even enjoy it, and tried to have a strawberry but it tasted weird-- she said it tasted like they didnt wash& store it right, and it tasted like "feet". And even then we didn't get what we asked for. I have no idea if cocktails were offered. I also found out afterwards that there was coffee served with dessert. We got our cake and had no coffee. I walked in January 16th to view the place and make a reservation for Saturday 2/7. I sat at the bar to try the drink and locked in my reservation for party of 8 at 9pm. On Saturday 2/7 it was a weather emergency being that it was 3 degrees outside . I tried calling the restaurant several times throughout the day to see if they will be open since a lot of places were not conducting business due to the weather emergency but I never got an answer after several attempts just went straight to voicemail. I then tried calling again again to see if they can push the time back to 9:30 instead of 9 and still no answer. The entire group arrived 9:30pm exact I told them about not being able to get through and the women simply replied she know. She stated my table is not ready yet due to someone still sitting there . We don't get seated til 10:17pm we got our drinks at 11:02pm. Appetizers came out at 11:18pm and the entree came out at 11:56pm. We never knew who our server was because everyone was all over the place. When the entrees finally came out they told my mom they didn't have the dish she ordered. Why wait until you bring every person meal out to say something now one person is without food. They asked if she can order something else so she ordered the salmon. There was two people that was at my table certified in the culinary arts field and the Salmon was raw. We were the last table to leave the restaurant.
