My first time experiencing Naxos and it was a truly great experience! This place is absolutely stunning inside and the ambiance is perfect for a lil date night or even girls night out. Service is 10/10 too! Staff were very attentive and accommodating throughout the entire dining experience. As for the main course of food, the seafood was delicious and it was money well spent! Some of the best seafood I have ever tasted. My favorite highlights of the night would have to be the John Dory, oysters, and the Spanish charred octopus. Fish was flaky and tender, oysters were fresh, and the octopus was cooked to perfection and wasn't rubbery. Everything we had was extremely flavorful and its one of those restaurants I'm going to remember. Definitely going to come back and try some of their other dishes! However, one dish I don't think I really cared for were the clams. Didn't think it was as good as some of the other seafood dishes I tried.
This is another place we like to come to every so often. They have a $60 fixed menu which is awesome. We always add the Zucchini/Eggplant Chips to our appetizers. We started with the Greek Salad and the Spanakopita which is always yummy. We then had the Lavraki Fish and the Skirt Steak. This night was a little interesting as my steak which in the picture shows it with a salsa verde on it did not come with anything on it??? We finished with the Homemade Froto, Ricotta Olive Oil & Pistachio and the Spiced Date Cake, Caramel, Candied Walnuts which are excellent. Our server Garrett was one of the friendliest we have had here. I'm not saying any of them are bad, he was just friendlier, meaning he was not just doing his job, he spent time getting to know his customers which made the Corrientes better. We will be back of course.
Not sure why it took so long for us to try Naxos. I love seafood and they ave a great Mediterranean menu. It has great atmosphere as well. We in for lunch and got there just after opening. Seated right away and few other guests were seated. It's really tough to figure out what you would like with such a wide variety. Since it was a weekend the brunch menu was in play as well. I am a sucker for a Shakshuka but I was on a mission to get seafood. I opted for the lunch prix fixe with the Oysters Lavraki and FroYo. I was pleased with every item. Although they took our orders quickly, the service ran a little slow. That might be chalked up to arriving right at opening. Food, drinks and ambience was all spot on and We will be returning. I look forward to the full dinner menu with all that lovely fish.
Been here a few times and the food has always been consistently good. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has moody lighting, making it feel a little more upscale. One of my favorite dishes is the Charred Spanish Octopus. It is always cooked well and not too tough. The dips are the star of the show and I could definitely go for dips and wine. I see many reviews about how the casino sounds ruin the dining experience. I have sat in all parts of the restaurant and not once noticed the casino noises one bit.
We were craving Mediterranean and Naxos did not disappoint. They are in Red Rock Casino. First impressions as we walked in. It had a nice ambiance, however, if you are seated at the front of the restaurant, you are literally near the slot machines. Thank God we were seated inside and for a moment we forgot we were inside a casino. We started with their Katafi Prawns, they were amazing! Loved the touch of olive flavor dip it came with. Their pulpo came with crispy smashed potatoes, they were good too! Fresh pita bread anyone? Don't skip those. The hummus dip with beets were heavenly. I ordered their Alaskan king crab. Wow. I think they put mayo on it, it was rich and yummy!!! The scallops were good too! There's a tiny kick to it, but all in all good. The skirt steak was on the bland side unfortunately, however everything else compensated for the lack of flavor like the spinach rice and crispy potatoes. Servings were on the smaller side but we left very full. Their rendition of the Dubai chocolate was okay, a bit on the dry side, but still tasty. The service was amazing. Servers were quick and attentive. Would I go back when I'm in that side of town? Yes.
I was craving seafood. I decided to try the Oyster Bar at this location. Inside seating for restaurant was dead. Not 1 person seated. I ordered the E.C. Oysters 6pc it was worth the $24 and delicious. My linguine with shrimp/Crab/Clams was disgusting. Heavy on salt. I could cook a better seafood dish at home. I was highly disappointed. My martini was $21 during "happy hour ". Don't bother ordering here. I ordered the same martini at T-Bones for 1/2 the price here. Also, the food is better quality. I won't return here ever again.
High class. Elegant and stylish. Greek inspired flavors and awesome menu. Great customer service and loved how the staff is so involved with making each customer feel comfortable. What an experience. The drinks were so smooth and put us in a relaxed mood. Yes were going back .
Came in for an atypical Thanksgiving meal. Started off with a warm greeting from our server Tina who claimed at least 90% Greek heritage. And she respected her roots! (Smile) She was not only familiar with the Greek language, but was a true connoisseur of the entire menu. She made some great suggestions from both the fish menu as well as the main menu. We started off our meal with the Greek salad, which was large enough to share between three or four people. We also had the charred octopus appetizer. The flavors were fantastic. The photos do not do this place justice but give a peek at the variety available. Here is a summary the experience: Food: top notch! Fresh and flavorful. Mediterranean food always leaves me feeling satisfied but not stuffed. And this experience exceeded expectations. They brought the fish in the salt crust to show how it had been cooked before preparing it to serve. Impressive presentation and the quality matched. Service: Excellent. Granted we were one of three tables since we came at lunch and this is typically a dinner only establishment. Nevertheless everyone was attentive and the food came in a a timely manner but not so quick that you had the impression of it being pre-made. Value: The price was right. You could choose a dish that fit your palette, hunger level and budget. Plenty of options that all met the mark. 10/10 I will be back the next time I'm in Vegas.
Had the most incredible dinning experience last night! Best we have had in a while so I thought I should write a review. Giselle was our server she did a fantastic job of guiding us through the menu and helping us with our choices. Idk who the bartender was but our drinks were fantastic.I had a dirty martini it was super cold slightly cloudy with little ice crystals "perfection" my husband had 2 espresso martini's they were perfect as well! The food omg everything we got was delicious! Started with 6 west coast oysters very fresh, we then enjoyed the crudo trio amazing, for the main event we got the lamb chops, roasted baby carrots, Lobster Diavolo, and pita with Muhammara which Giselle helped us pick and it did not disappoint. The food the drinks the service the ambiance absolutely incredible. We will be adding Naxos to our regular rotation.
They don't do the different price for CC use on the receipt anymore, good move. As stated in my last review this place is too nice to do that, it's tacky. Food and service great. Went in shortly before brunch was ending on a Sunday and was welcomed and never rushed. The lunch special is a really good deal here however the dessert up charge for the cheesecake was a must for my sweet tooth.. the cookies my husband got was meh. Looking forward to my next visit.
My sister has been wanting to try this restaurant for a couple of years, and getting recommendations from casino workrs. we were finally able to dine here for brunch on a Saturday about 1130a party of 8. Restaurant is practically empty which worked out for us since we were gonna catch movie at 115p. The restaurant itself is dimly lit, and easy to have conversations. We decided on a few dishes to try and were quite pleased with our choices. Since we had our older cousins with us who dont eat much, it was the perfect amount of food. What stood out to me as my favorite was the shrimp wrap. Loved the crunch of the outside wrappers the olive aioli. The spinach rice could've used more flavor, but the idea of it is great. The steak and eggs, was ordered medium well, which was a mistake, because it was sliced and cooked so the edges were burnt, unfortunately did not get a picture of that dish. But my brother in law doesn't like blood in his steak could not finish, even with the chimichurri sauce. All in all, we'd do e here again.
Friday night is Date night and tonight along with our friends we picked Naxos and I am so delighted we did. Naxos is located in Red Rock Casino and it is recommended you do make reservations. The restaurant is Stunning with a BoHo Romantic design. There is an open kitchen concept and large tree and dim lights throughout the restaurant that gives you that very relaxed feel. We were seated immediately by Lily and she was delightful. Our waiter Garrett immediately introduced himself and went over the entire menu as well as the cocktail menu. He was amazing the entire evening. We ordered for an appetizer Homemade pita bread with three different types of spread . I asked for Garrett to pick the three types and he did not disappoint. Myself and my husband along with our friends then ordered our dinners. It did not take very long for our meals to be delivered and we all were so satisfied with our food. My husband had ordered Lamb Chops, I had steak , my friend ordered a white fish with a Lemon fish that was amazing, and her husband ordered Skirt steak. Everything was cooked to perfection and was so fresh . Definitely an amazing evening snd we will return.
Decided to try something different while spending the day at Red rock Casino. Greek restaurant was just opening for dinner and no waiting line... ambience was amazing and the food and service did not disappoint either. I had grilled salmon, cooked perfectly medium with a squash puree. My brother had lamb kebab in a tomato rags with garbanzo beans and hint of olives. We shared a rice dish with fresh spinach and had plenty of food for both of us. Kostas , our server, was polite, attentive, and had the Greek accent to transform us to the isle of Greece. No room for dessert on this trip, but we will be back to try dips and fresh baked pita and seafood.
Must try: Muhammara Dip, Zucchini & Eggplant Chips, Lavraki Fish, and all the desserts! Why: First time trying Muhammara dip and it was delicious! Made with walnuts, red bell peppers, pomegranate molasses, and breadcrumbs. Also tried the Zucchini & Eggplant Chips, which had Tzatziki on the bottom. This was actually my fav dish of the night because the chips were crispy and seasoned to perfection! I could eat it as an entire meal! My entree with the Lavraki Fish, which was fresh, deboned, and charred with Lemon & Sea Salt. We also got Homemade FroYo (Ricotta Olive Oil & Pistachio) and Baklava Cheesecake, both were a fantastic way to end a delightful meal! FroYo was light and refreshing while the Cheesecake was rich and flavorful. Notes: The restaurant is located inside Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa. It was clean and spacious. The waiter was friendly and helpful in providing recommendations. Great service throughout meal. Nearest bathroom is the casino bathroom across the slot machines. Overall, wonderful dining experience before we gambled a bit. read more

Soild Mediterranean restaurant in Red Rock Casino. Naxos would be my top choice of restaurants in Red Rock. Atmosphere: nicely decorated with coast vibe. Casual and dressy at the same time. You can dress up or down. Service: my visits there have been pleasant. On point service. Food comes out fairly quickly. Food: I had cocktails here a couple of times and they were both meh. One of the main reason for deducing a star. Must try: -Kataifi shrimp (5/5): it's crispy, juicy and flavorful. -Raw sea bream (5/5): nice seasoning with fresh sashimi. -Spanish rice (4/5): nice seasoned rice. -Crispy potatoes (5/5): crispy outside and soften inside with great garlic cheese flavors. -Lavraki (5/5) reminded of the same seasoning in Milos. -Baklava cheese cake (5/5): so good! Can't find this very often. I'm not a dessert person but wow these cheese cakes. Skip: Tried couple of pastas during restaurant week: lobster and crab diablo and seafood pasta. Not a fan. Both were underwhelming. Overall, this is a great Greek seafood place. I highly recommend you come check this place out. read more
This is a really nice restaurant that's inside of the Red Rock. The decor matches the food well as it isn't so overwhelming and almost makes it seem like you're near a beach (opposite of Vegas). Whenever I usually keep it light and just order their dips and spread which I say is worth it alone. We got their Tzatziki, Muhammara and their Marinated Green Olives & Herbed Feta. If you have problems picking, I suggest asking the server what they recommend as this is how we came across these flavors. This dish comes out with fresh pita bread and is a great appetizer as you get loads of different flavors in each bite. We also ordered the Green Chickpea Falafel which was fresh and crispy. They also have selection of oysters that vary from either West Coast or East Coast. Overall I feel like this place is good for a snack when you're at Red Rock. I don't see myself coming here just for this location on its own. read more

A friend and I checked out this place as a part of Restaurant week. The lunch was worth a visit and it enticed us enough to want to check it out again in the future. The ambiance was warm and inviting and while I did not love being sat directly next to another couple, they were about to leave. They lean into the nautical theme and the decor matched perfectly without being too over the top. We ordered from the pre fix menu and then shared the different items. My favorite was the skirt steak followed closely by the prawns. The staff were friendly and professional and ensured that we had everything that we needed. I was a little disappointed that the steak or fish did not come with a small side, but otherwise the food was excellent and should for sure be added to your list! read more
Food and service were amazing! The restaurant is beautiful and really transports you to Greece. The crispy salmon with squash puree was delicious. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The service was really nice as we were seated immediately and waited no less than 5 minutes to order and receive our drinks. The philo dough breadpudding was unlike any other bread pudding. Last night had dinner here. We ordered the following: Dips and Spreads Tzatziki Houmous Muhammara With pita- we ordered another round of pita Lemon-Garlic Jidori Chicken it came with crushed potatoes- SO GOOD Greek Salad- feta cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers Royal Dorade cooked whole and served deboned with charred lemon and salt-SO GOOD Kataifi wrapped prawns-AMAZING I ate all 4 myself I think that's everything. The restaurant was beautiful and our server was really great. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very dark. read more

I came here on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday. It was pretty busy, so I was glad we had a reservation. We were all pretty disappointed off the bat though, since we had a party of 15, and yet they split us into two tables when they had an empty party room. I'll come back to this in a bit. First impressions, this place is BEAUTIFUL! I really did feel like I was dining in Mykonos! I thought the entrance was cool too with the oyster bar outside. Menus were a little tough to figure out. We got a regular menu, a pre fixe menu, a drink menu, and then another paper with the fish offered. I ended up ordering the pre fixe menu with the prawns as an appetizer and lavroki as my entree. The lavroki is a type of sea bass according to the paper. For desert I got the baklava cheesecake. My bf ordered the lamb shank. Food had a lot of flavors, so we all enjoyed that. Going back on my initial rant about our party being split into two tables... we were pretty disappointed and when we did ask about the private room, which was available, but they said that was for special events. Ok fine, but it was empty and it was the only place our entire party could sit without being split. Anyways our servers took our orders simultaneously between the tables, but our food came out all at completely separate times. Apparently one of the servers didn't put one of the tables orders in. By the time one table got their food, the other table had nothing and was just glancing at us eating. Also the table who got food first had to wait a good hour before the rest of the party was done eating. This made us all late to bingo. Lastly, at the end of our meal we got our checks. One check per table. Although we requested prior to ordering that we wanted separate checks. We reminded the waiter and he asked all of us to circle what we ordered so he can separate the items. Now this is the RED FLAG. Our original receipt did not have any gratuity. HOWEVER, once split each check was charged gratuity. Gratuity should have been on the original check, not added on after and on each check. This made it seem like he added gratuity because of the inconvenience. Anyways ambiance and aesthetics was a 10/10. Food was an 8. The prawns were my favorite and was SOOOO delicious. Customer service was a 2/10 for me. I wanted to celebrate my friend's birthday. Instead we got split up, had our food delivered at different times, and our server appeared annoyed at us at the end. read more

First I love the ambiance of this place, remind me of Greece Santorini vibes, it's so calming and relaxing. This restaurant is inside red rock right beside lotus of Siam. First we were greeted by 2 host at the podium and was walked in to our table making the closed room. We had really good foods from appetizer to main course, and the servers were very attentive keeps refilling our waters. We started with some pita bread and a bunch of hummus dips and they were a good. To be honest the pita bread and hummus almost made me full already. Then we had some shrimp wrapped with crunchy stuff on it And then some raw fish which I didn't try because it's raw and I don't eat raw but according to my friends it was good and was fresh so that's good... We slice of steaks which was well cooked well seasoned. We also had different desserts their famous one is the baklava cheesecake, which was really good had mouse cake and other stuff. Everything was a great experience food, ambiance and service was great. Would be back to try for more different food on the menu! read more

I had so much fun visiting Naxos! I think it's a new restaurant located inside Red Rock, but it's decorated so perfectly, I felt like I was in Greece. Our server, Jason, was so informative and walked us through the menu since it was our first time visiting. My friend has an allergy, and he was so great and letting her know what she could have to eat. The food was amazing! I did their $55 price fix menu, and I was so happy I did. I started with their Green Chick Pea Falafel, which has the most amazing sauce underneath. Definitely a must try! For my main, I got the Skirt Steak, which was cooked perfectly, and extremely flavorful. I ended with their Cookies and Bites, which consisted of 3 different small cookies. My favorite was the almond one! I was definitely surprised with how much I enjoyed Naxos, and will 100% be back! read more
Looking for a gluten free lunch after driving to a marked gluten free restaurant and then finding out it's not actually gluten free, we ended up driving to Red Rock to eat at Yard House. There's only a few places I can eat in town as I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free. We hadn't been to Red Rock since they changed the buffet to a restaurant space. We decided to take a lap around and stumbled upon Naxos. I decided to go ahead and ask if they had any gluten free options. Not only did they bring out staff to talk to me, they gave me the allergen listings. ******* ADVICE FOR MANAGEMENT ******* As a Celiac, I rely on online menus and menus posted outside restaurants to figure out if I can eat at a restaurant. Please start putting "GF" or a little symbol on your online menu and the menu out front so people like me can know ahead of time if they can eat here. The restaurant only had 2 other tables during Sunday lunch (lunch is only available on the weekends.) Honestly, money is being left on the table by not putting this information online or even on the menu as people with a whole host of autoimmune diseases, allergies and medical issues travel and have to scout out restaurants that can accommodate us. Because you can accommodate us, advertise this! We want to find you to spend our money! ****** My husband and I each ordered from the $35 prix fixe menu. I ordered the gluten free: Marouli salad (starter) - very nice size, tasty. Lavraki fish (main) - delicious. Pistachio & ricotta frozen yogurt (dessert) Not a fan. Had a rum raisin flavor despite it being pistachio ricotta but it was the only gluten free dessert. My husband ordered: Falafel with hummus (starter) 8oz skirt steak with salsa verde (gluten free) (main) Date cake (dessert) We also started with the $16 lunch portion of saganaki with honey, lemon and pistachio as a starter. It wasn't flaming and comes in a little cast iron dish. It was delicious but felt overpriced at $16. We didn't buy any more sides because spinach rice, cauliflower or potatoes range from $14-$15 which is just too much for a starch side dish. The service from Aaron was 10/10. The food was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful. The price point may be a little too spendy judging by the empty dining room. I think having a marked menu could bring in more customers - who will pay at the current price point - who want a meal out but don't know that this place can accommodate their food restrictions. Came with a group of 4. I love the interior decor and ambiance of the place. Our server was very attentive. She was concerned that the music was too loud and asked if she wanted us to turn it down, but we said no. There are many new restaurants that blast their background music, but this is not one of them. What makes this place unique in my opinion is the variety of whole fish they had. Also there's a 3 course pre-fixe menu for $55, which gives you the option for the best things on the menu. We opted for the sea bream, salt baked, kataifi wrapped prawns, 3 dips/spreads, octopus, and spinach rice. The whole fish was perfectly cooked, so tender, juicy, and had the perfect amount of lemon. The prawns were huge and tasted perfectly with the purple olive oil aioli. All the dips we had were delicious, but my favorite was the tzatziki one. Also, one of the best pita breads I've had. It was very soft, light, and tasted like it was lightly grilled. Overall wonderful experience here with awesome Greek food. I'd like to try other dishes next time, but I'm also fine ordering what I had before. read more

Wow!!! What a gem Was in the mood for some fresh seafood and happen to come across a recommendation for this spot and since it's so close by, I decided to give it a go and man am I so glad I did. The restaurant is located in Summerlin's Red Rock Casino. It is an upscale restaurant, beautifully decorated and in my opinion, the best Greek/Mediterranean restaurant in all of Las Vegas! Service was stellar, we were immediately seated for our 7:15pm reservation. It was the Tuesday before Christmas so not incredibly busy when we arrived but by the time we left, there wasn't an empty seat. We started with the Red Snapper (raw dish) and followed that with a traditional Greek salad and for our entree and per the recommendation I referenced earlier, we ordered and shared a 2.5 pound Fagri (Larger Prized Sea Bream) of which had delicate and rich flavor with a tender medium flaky texture. It took 45 minutes to make(our waiter Steven advised us in advance) and was worth the wait. I will be back, very soon and will be sure to recommend this spot to friends, family and colleagues every chance I get. Well done Chef!!! read more

I'm sorry there is only one pic of the food--we didn't even think about taking pics until we were halfway done. The food is SO SO SO great! We had the eggplant and zucchini chips--BETTER than French fries (almost sacrilege to say that!). The freshly made pita bread is so soft, chewy, and tasty--we didn't get the dips b/c we were so excited to try the pita--it was SO delicious. (We don't think you even need dip). We had the artichoke hearts--perfectly grilled and flavorful. The avocado toast is the perfect combination of the best bread/toast (it's not your average toast), avocado (and guacamole), and spices. The Baklava cheesecake is an innovative blend of classic cheesecake with a twist on the crust--delish!! The service is phenomenal and Alyse Cunningham, the manager was so friendly--she is committed to ensuring guests have the best experience. It is a very comfortable quiet ambiance--so you can really enjoy the company and food experience. I LOVED this place--even though I have been to the Red Rock casino several times, this was the first time at Naxos--I will be bringing friends and family back for sure!!!!! YUMM!!!!! read more
Located inside the Red Rock Casino, Naxos Taverna offers a menu of fresh Greek-style seafood and small plates served in a refined setting. To start, the Greek Salad was a combination of chopped cucumbers, several kinds of tomatoes, and a block of feta cheese; and the Hummus was a lemony dip of puréed chickpeas served with a hot, rustic pita flatbread on the side. Two of my favorite dishes were the Charred Spanish Octopus, a tender octopus tentacle served with crushed potatoes and Romesco sauce; and the Kataifi Wrapped Prawns, which were three large shrimps wrapped in a super crispy layer of kataifi strands, served over a creamy Kalamata olive aioli. For our mains, the Lavraki was a butterflied and deboned Mediterranean sea bass seasoned heavily with herbs and spices and simply grilled to perfection; and the side of Spiced Baby Cauliflower came with roasted heads of green, yellow, and purple cauliflower sprinkled with raisins and almonds and served over a sweet onion purée. Finally, for dessert, we had the Homemade Froyo, an icy treat with ricotta olive oil and pistachio flavors. The dessert wasn't all that memorable, but all the other dishes were fresh, quality, and delicious, and the service was super friendly too! read more

Wow...so we decided to give Red Rock another shot. After being highly disappointed with the food at Lotus of Siam we wanted to try Naxos Taverna and try some Mediterranean food. I've to say this place was a hit. The food was amazing! The service was amazing! The staff was great. Since this was our first time in they made sure suggest some of their best dishes and they did not disappoint. The ambience was fantastic we sat in the covered "patio"section which was great for the wife and I. Very lively tables and guest made for a great date night. I would highly recommend this place for nice evening out. Great food and Great people. Thank you Naxos Taverna we will be back. read more
Inspired by the taverns of Greece. We were definitely transported last night. The space is beautiful and our adorable server was straight off the boat from Greece and I could listen to him talk all night. The food is fantastic. Very fresh ingredients from all the great vegetables to the mild and tender fish. A few items that really stood out to me were the creamy dips with warm pita that were brushed all over with olive oil. The incredibly tender chicken meatballs infused with herbs and spices in a delicious tomato sauce. The grilled fish were prepared so simply with charred lemon, spices, and sea salt allowing the fish itself to really standout. And sometimes the calories are worth it when it comes to dessert and both the very creamy baklava cheesecake and decadent chocolate cake are worth it. If there were more stars i would use them for this place! Seamless perfection in every dish.... From the appetizers to the option to have a whole fish, you literally won't be able to go wrong with any decision you make. I was lucky enough to be a part of a big group and we tried most of their menu, and it was all superb! And to top it all off the service was what hospitality is all about. I tried the fixed dinner menu with a salad, crab and lobster pasta with squid ink, a spiced cake. And I also got Zucchini chips and Hamachi Crudo. I had to take the cake to go because portions are so generous. I loved everything but the pasta especially just blew my mind. It is so incredibly flavorful, I just couldn't believe it. Probably the best pasta dish I've ever had. The service was also phenomenal, and the ambiance is really nice. A bit on the pricey side but in my opinion worth it for a really nice dinner out. read more

First visit. The ambiance is beautiful! We had a wonderful server. We ordered a few appetizers which were the saganaki, the artichokes and the cucumber chips. The artichokes were amazing! The saganaki had way too much honey on top of it. I expected a drizzle but it was drowning in it which took away from the cheese. I ordered the lemon chicken and my husband the beef kofta. The portions didn't match the price. Overall had a wonderful time and enjoyed the meal. read more
Naxos is a great example of how good quality ingredients don't need much done to them to shine. They have a seafood focused menu with quality fish flown in from around the world. Seafood towers both chilled and grilled and great steaks. My favorite part of the menu is their dips and spreads served with pita l. I initially felt like the prices were a lot per dip but the flavors were so good and they are a good size. I highly recommend the mouhamara and tzatziki. The eggplant and zucchini chips & the wrapped shrimp are my favorite small plates. They are seasoned so well and delicious. Whole fish cooked either salt baked or grilled was on our menu. We did the royal dorade salt baked and it's served with sea salt and olive oil. Favorite side was the spicy carrots. Cocktails are all simple and classic but with Greek twists. We celebrated a friend's birthday and I felt like the prices were fair for the quality and ambiance. Staff is also excellent. read more
Went to meet a friend there and had made a reservation online. I got there on time but my friend was running late and they wouldn't sit me til she got there which was kinda frustrating. When we finally got our table I ordered the margarita and it was decent. I also got the Greek salad and it was presented in a unique way I had not seen before. I feel like the block of cheese was a little too much and wish it would have just been sprinkled in the salad instead. I also ordered the hummus and pita and that was good. The restaurant has an open concept with dim lighting so it would be perfect more for a romantic date. read more

Wow!!!! I'm blown away with every dish I ate. Service was absolutely great on both of my visits. We dined here for restaurant week, and we returned again 2 weeks later. That's how good it was, but the 2nd time around, the food wasn't as memorable other than the bread. With that said, a SOLID 4. I can't remember each dish, but take a look at my photos. The highlight was the shrimp and steak with Chimichurri. We were told it wasn't a regular item on the menu. When we returned, we had the steak, and that was just ok. I prefer the restaurant week steak instead. The baloon lookomg bread was delcious with the spreads. Overall, I'd return again. read more
We checked out Naxos Taverna during restaurant week and the prix fixed menu allowed us to try various dishes for a fair price. My favorite items from the night were the Greek salad, potatoes, salmon, and chickpea falafels. The salmon was decadently fresh and you should obviously dine here for their various fish options. They present you with a menu prior to the start of the meal noting all the fresh catch from the day. The salad had a beautiful presentation with a chunky piece of feta and fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. It was really lovely and refreshing. I was not much of a fan of the rice and eggplant tomato spread. I make this spread at home myself and find it to be more flavorful. They should work on making it more eggplant-forward. The pita however was amazing! Service needs some work. Although our waiter was kind and friendly, it took a while for him to approach and reapproach us throughout the evening. read more
Absolutely amazing food! Some friends and I came to Naxos during restaurant week. The place was packed so I'm glad we made reservations. We ended up getting seated about 15 mins late which worked out fine since we were enjoying a drink at the bar right outside. Walking in I loved the vibe. It makes you feel like you've transported to Greece & aren't in a casino anymore. Our server was very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu to us. We all opted for the prix fixe meal. To start I had the Greek salad. I loved how colorful it was & it tasted just as good as it looked. My main dish was the skirt steak. It was cooked perfectly, very tender. My side was the fingerling potatoes. I learned this late into the meal but the olive oil they have on the table, PUT IT ON EVERYTHING. It added so much flavor to my steak and potatoes. For dessert, I wanted the chocolate cake but they were all sold out so I went with the froyo instead. It was still delicious. Overall the food was absolutely killer but the service timing could definitely use help. We were there for about two hours so it was quite slow between each course. I'm sure they will work it out since they're still very new. I can't wait to come back again. read more

The issues here are mostly with the disappointing food. The best dish is the Hot Pita bread. The issue I have with that is the item that costs pennies is the only thing worth while. We ordered the Dip which comes with only one of these Pitas. The amount of dip you get it is safe to say you need at least 3 Pitas. Which cost $4 for each. There is a smell in Red Rock casino that is a mix of stale cigarettes and cheap car air freshener. The reason why I bring that up is the roasted oysters have a similar aftertaste to that smell. Not good. The Saganaki is tasty but without the typical flaming table side it is just a pan of melty cheese. The poached prawns were a total of 4 shrimp maybe 20 per pound size. They were mealy from being over cooked. Also one still had part of the shell on which shows sloppiness. The cocktail sauce was the only good part of this dish. We split the whole grilled red snapper. It comes with a lemon caper sauce. The fish is presented at table after it is grilled. Then taken back to the kitchen to be filleted and deboned and sauced. It disappeared for about 15 minutes. It was well grilled but had very little flavor. Usually Mediterranean prepared grilled fish is stuffed with aromantics and herbs to perfume the fish for flavor. The lemon and caper sauce fell flat and needed salt. Service was acceptable but felt like we were being up sold rather than navigated through the dining experience. We did find a significant bone in the fish. Given this this the main focus of the menu not acceptable. The space is nice but if it was busy noise level maybe an issue for an intimate dinner read more
Our party of 13 stopped by to celebrate a birthday dinner for one of my boys...we had a pleasant dinner experience For this visit, we went with the Naxos Spring Fixed Menu $55 they offered. Kataifi Wrapped Prawns - Absolutely delicious. My favorite dish here currently. The Kalamata olive Aioli absolutely makes this dish. I'm ordering this again next visit. Charcoal Grilled Skirt Steak - They cooked it perfectly for me at medium rare. Baklava Cheesecake - Small in quantity but a very nice fusion dessert if you like Baklava and cheesecake. The ambiance is contemporary high end but you can still wear casual clothing. The service was on point and our servers kept our drinks fresh and table cleared of plates and dishes we were finished with. I would definitely return to sample other Greek dishes Naxos Taverna has to offer. Cheers! read more

My mom and I experienced the best dinner service and meal at Naxos recently. The restaurant was warmly lit with soft, modern music and open kitchen and fresh fish on ice. Our server was well versed on the menu items and pairing suggestions. A fresh fish from the fishmongers menu is a melt in your mouth, must try! Everything we tasted was perfect. The only suggestion I would make is to serve the tzatziki around the zucchini and eggplant chips instead of hiding underneath so it can be seen. This restaurant is a perfect night out for friends, family or your significant other. Thank you for a fine dining and mouth watering experience. read more
Yelp Review 2023 #160: I came here with friends for a celebratory dinner. This restaurant is inside Red Rock Hotel in Summerlin, past Lotus of Siam. They have an oyster bar right next to the restaurant. Their menu is a simple 1-pager. They have appetizers, breads, dips/ spreads, fish, seafood, salads, steaks, lamb chops, and sides. Green Chick Pea Falafel: Tahini Yogurt, Red Schug. Good texture. A nice little crunch on the outside and quite soft in the middle. 4/5 Spreads & Bread: You can get it at $8 / each, 3 for $22 or 5 for $35. If you want a little bit of everything and you have 4 people and more, your best option would be the 3 dips or the 5 dips. Your options for dips/ spreads are Tzatziki | Muhammara | Houmous | Coal-Roasted Eggplant & Tomato | Beet-Citrus Tartar | Crushed Fava Bean | Marinated Greek Olives & Herbed Feta (which is not a dip nor a spread). We got tzatziki, houmous, and olives & feta. The bread was fresh and hot. Delicious! 5/5 Charred Spanish Octopus: You get 2 tentacles with Crushed Potatoes, Romesco. I love grilled octopus. Their octopus is on the thin side and so, the tip of the tentacles were burnt. 3/5 Tabouli Salad: Parsley, Tomato, Lemon Vinaigrette. I couldn't give a fair rating for this since we ordered it but I didn't eat it. Faroe Island Salmon: Roasted Pumpkin, Chermoula. Crispy skin on the salmon, and the rest is juicy and cooked to medium. 4/5 Spiced Baby Cauliflower: Sweet Onion Puree, Raisins, Almonds. I'm not a fan of raisins mixed in with other things. It should be in a box, eaten by itself. Otherwise, it just makes things weird. It's like having a socially awkward person that doesn't know how to mingle with others - that's what raisins are. However, this is a nice plate of cauliflower. You can just eat around the raisins. 4/5 Spanakorizo: Spinach Rice. Simple and satisfying. 4/5 Homemade FroYo: You can get a swirl or pick 1 flavor. I got pistachio and it was delicious. It's sprinkled with chopped pistachios for some crunch. 5/5 Baklava Cheesecake: Pistachio Filo, Strawberry Sorbet. The sorbet helps cut out the richness of the cheesecake and the sweetness of the honey poured over the cheesecake. 4/5 Sokolatina: Chocolate Custard Cake, Market Strawberries. A rather rich and slightly dense cake. 3.5/5 The restaurant is quite open, bright, spacious, and airy. And even if it's in a casino, it wasn't super loud or smokey. Our server did a good job and gave us enough time to decide which dishes we wanted to try. Since we have a pescatarian, a strict vegetarian, allergies, and people that can eat whatever. Good food, good service, great ambiance. Definitely a place worth trying. read more
