Jorge offered to come back and take another look, even going down in the crawl space to disassemble and reassemble the dryer vent to see what else he could find. Nothing. Found out in june when I tried to use the AC that electricity wasn't even hooked to the outside unit. By then they were permanently closed. I Finally got it working by having the electricity hooked up and another HVAC firm come out and finish the install, which included charging the ac with refrigerant. THey took advantage of installing when I wasn't there to not finish the job, hoping I wouldn't test it out till summer.

I mentioned to Chris that something went awry after we tried to secure the cover of the Nest thermostat (it was loose from the wall). The AC had worked before but after doing something with the cover, the AC stopped working. Chris quickly found the problem (a fuse had blown out). Chris was very professional, gave me some ideas on a Honeywell thermostat (we're not BIG fans of the new NEST thermostat), showed me how to read the error codes on our furnace (watch the number of red light flashes and compare it to the brochure left with the furnace). It was easy, peasy, even someone like me who has no HVAC experience could do this. I can't thank Chris enough for his great personality, true professionalism, answered my questions, taught me a few things (learning something new is always good) and even loved on my 2 labs (turns out we both love animals). In my opinion everyone should get on his surveillance program where he comes out changes out your filters and assesses the HVAC system and so you at least have a heads up when you need repairs or change out the whole system.
