Eggs tasted dry and the home fries were hard
    Aaron W.

I took my mother here this morning and waited 45 minutes for a seat. She ordered a quarter biscuits and gravy and I had a turkey omelette. Her biscuit with burnt and basically inedible and mine tasted dried out and the home fries were hard. Not worth it, highly recommend going to pegahs or perkins instead.

    BLT with fries.

Ordered the BLT which was very good. They bring cinnamon buns out when you first sit down which were also very good. One thing that was weird was my grandpa ordered a tuna salad sandwich and 20 minutes after ordering the waitress came to our table and said they ran out of tuna. That's something you mention a few minutes after ordering. It did take us a long time to get our food but they were busy. Very good would come back.

First off...you get seated AND immediately get complimentary cinnamon rolls?! Excuse me, what?! They were hands down, DELISH! Ordered the Brioche French Toast. Good heavens, was it just yum! One thing that threw me off a bit - when pulling up, all I saw was a " cafe " sign, so I drove past the restaurant. However, tons of street parking and lot across the street. It is a 2 lane street, with working trucks offloading/loading, so be careful. Recommend you purchase their cinnamon rolls to take home. You won't regret it.

I was in Lee's Summit for the day and decided to stop in for brunch. It was pretty good. The food wasn't spectacular, but it was yummy. The service was great. And the ambiance was pretty cool. I got a breakfast combo that I can't remember the name of. AND..they bring out a cinnamon roll when you have been seated. For free. It was great for free! The price was pretty good for the amount of food you get. I'd return if I'm in the area again someday.

We ended up here for breakfast before heading out of town. Classic diner vibes, the staff were great, super attentive, and friendly. We started with the cinnamon rolls - yum! Then we got a denver omelette as well as classic eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy on the side. Very satisfying!

Quaint local breakfast restaurant. Not particularly head-turning, but it's an option. There were complementary cinnamon rolls as if it were bread and butter at dinner. They tasted inoffensive at worst. I had the country breakfast burrito. I wasn't a fan of it. My girlfriend and I agreed on the sentiment that "It's just slightly better than a frozen breakfast burrito, and I can make better burritos at home". The service was okay, mainly regarding the small water cups since they may have ran out of larger cups. It was often that I was without water trying to eat my burrito and couldn't wash it down. The servers seemed all cluttered by the ramp between the two rooms, and not fully aware of their surroundings. The front room was much less decorated than the back room, it felt like we were walking into a for-sale house with booths and chairs in it. But where we actually sat, in the back room, the newspapers and pictures on the wall were cool and comfortable decor.

As a new resident as a new resident in Lee's Summit, I was happy to find this place early on. We've been to Neighborhood Café several times now, and it's a very solid breakfast spot. This is where we take people this is where we take people who are visiting. I love the complementary, cinnamon rolls! The chicken fried steak is hand breaded. The atmosphere is very quaint, and you may find yourself and you may find yourself seated with strangers who become friends. This place is a local gem which we will continue to support.

Been a minute since we got breakfast but this place never disappoints. Down right greasy spoon but hey a sat or Sunday we will do it occasionally. Got the quarter order of biscuits and gravy and a breakfast burrito. Always clean always good

    Breakfast Platter

I went to the Neighborhood Cafe in Lee's Summit, it was a very nice mom and mom diner with lunch and breakfast with daily specials. You can easily spend under $30 for 3 people, it's pretty affordable and the food is very good. The servers were all friendly as well - it's pretty small inside but a great restaurant for lunch and breakfast, I'd recommend the breakfast platter with bacon.

Most of my orders have been curbside pickup since it's right around the corner from my house, and the process has always been quick and seamless. Let me tell you about the Great Salmon Caper Sandwich. A soft, pillowy brioche bun, flaky grilled salmon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with a creamy, tangy aioli. It is quite literally one of the best salmon sandwiches I've ever had. When I say I'll never get sick of this sandwich, I mean it. It's a genuine 10/10 and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The Cluckers are also excellent and come with an absurd amount of food. My only complaint is that the chicken pieces can sometimes be so large that the chicken-to-breading ratio feels a little off. Other than that, they're fantastic. The breading is seasoned perfectly, the chicken is juicy, and the price is extremely affordable for the portion size. The homemade honey mustard is also some of the best I've ever had and is easily my favorite dipping sauce on the menu. Wally's is one of those places that never disappoints. Fast service, affordable prices, generous portions, and consistently great food make it an easy recommendation.

We were immediately greeted and we sat at the bar since nobody was there at 11:05. Our waitress was Giovanna, who was happy, energetic and engaging. While we were waiting we talked with Giovanna about sparkling waters that we each liked and she went out to her car and got a La Croix Lemon Cello drink to try while we were waiting for our food. (She normally doesn't do this but it pertained to our conversation and was a gracious gesture). The food came out quickly and was presented beautifully. Both sandwiches were tender and juicy and cooked to perfection! We had no complaints, only compliments. We highly recommend this and we will be back!
