She definitely knows what she is doing and her personality and friendliness is definitely something that made me go back and as well the scent she recommended. Located in fashion island right next to Louie Vuitton store. I love this location because they have pretty much everything I need from designer shoes, Christian L. Jimmy C. Chanel. Etc. plenty of shoe designer selection! Located in the first floor! This location always have good sale rack last time I visited this store which was last week! They had 60% off rack, what a great deal! They also have good selection of make up brands, but I don't usually get my make up here I'm more of a Sephora kinda girl. Customer service is okay. It's Newport Beach so SA's are usually snobbish. Annoying! But usually don't go to a snobbish SA, if I walk in and don't get ask if I'm looking for a certain things. So much has changed since the Covid-19 pandemic. Sadly, this Neiman Marcus location has gone downhill. The customer service is bad. Employees are on their cell phones, rude and unhelpful. I purchased some products at the Givenchy counter and the cashier reeked of marijuana. This is definitely not Neiman Marcus standard. Do they even have a store manager at this location? I have completely forgotten the women who decided to help me on the day I wanted to treat myself to some new Christian's. She was a Caucasian women with shorter blonde hair. She made the experience so horrible for me it felt like she wanted me to try them on, buy them, and leave. I didn't fit in the shoes and also the shoes had looked to have been worn already. so she gladly went to the computer to take down all my information so that she could next day air the size that I needed to my house, so I was not even in the store longer than 15/20 minutes. I thought this was going to be a whole different experience especially when shopping at Neiman Marcus. I paid and not much else information was given to me other than I would be receiving an email at some point so that I can track the package. I wasn't going to be home when the package would arrive and I didn't feel comfortable with it just sitting outside of my home especially during these times. She said there's really not much else she can do now since the shoes have already been ordered and that I shouldn't worry we do this all the time. So once I was finished there I went straight to the Christian Louboutin store on Rodeo Dr. and that woman pulled every shoe that I wanted to try on asked me what the occasion was and how amazing they looked and also gave me a little bit of history behind some of the shoes. It was an entirely different experience she was amazing and I would highly recommend going to the actual store to buy your shoes. I went back to Neiman Marcus to try and return the shoes to have the package canceled but I walked straight in she looked at me and said there's nothing I can do it's already been past 30 minutes (apparently after 30 minutes their system doesn't allow you to make any type of changes since they're already being pulled from stock and packaged up) So I ask if I can possibly speak to a manager and maybe they can do something about it she simply looks at me and says the manager isn't going to help you with anything I'm telling you exactly what is going to happen I've been working here a long time and turns around and continues to help another customer she was with. I went in one day for a bag and the sales rep was kind enough to place it on hold for me for 2 days meanwhile I made my decision to buy it. Oh Neiman's how I love you, however my credit card does not. I first came here to just look around as I had ordered some Giuseppe's online and was waiting for them to arrive. I stumbled upon the shoe department and a wonderful employee by the name of Rhonda. I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for other than sandals for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. The selection is great from Giuseppe to Chanel and Givenchy. I tried on a few pair some were a better fit than others. Rhonda was extremely helpful bringing out multiple sizes and answering any questions. I decided on a beautiful pair of Chanel sandals and I can't wait to wear them. I went upstairs to pick up my Giuseppe's from customer service as they were an online order. Everyone in customer was really friendly also. This Neiman Marcus is dog friendly! Located at the Fashion Island mall, specifically next to Bloomingdale's and across from Kate Spade and Lulumon. I came by this store this afternoon just to browse. Currently Neiman Marcus has a sale going on: Selected regular and sales items at one item, you can get 20% off, for two items, you can get 25% off and for three items, you can get 30% off. As I was browsing both the 1st and 2nd floor (there is a 3rd floor but I didn't shop there), each of the employees I had come across all greeted me and smiled. One employee also asked if I needed help as I had my eyes towards a particular rack. During my shopping visit, I would have to say that my favorite and most memorable part was the handbag department on the 1st floor. There is definitely a great selection of high end brands (Prada, Channel, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Gucci, LV, Saint Laurent, Burberry) to look at and try, which is much better than what Bloomingdale's has to offer. I especially liked the layout of each section of these high end brands so that it is easy to find them. I also did like the layout of the woman's clothing on the 2nd floor as well, as it was also laid out by brand (which includes Dolce and Gabbana, Burberry, Diane Von Furstenberg). If only I lived closer, I would shop here more often. read more

So Neiman's is open, that's good news. But here's how it works. You have to give your name. First name, last name. Then your phone number. Then you are assigned an employee. For God knows what. If you want to switch departments, forget it. Your assigned employee has to go with you. Masks are required but saw plenty of shoppers without. When I complained to "my" agent she said it's up to that guests assigned employee. What a crock. You're open or closed. I cannot fathom what policing shoppers will benefit in a community who has just stated masks are no longer required. read more

My favorite FAVORITE department store. I love that I can shop for shoes, clothes, and handbags in one stop. Literally I can grab a pair of Manolo Bhlanik's, a Louis Vuitton purse, and a Versace dress in one trip. On my last visit, I walked away with Dior slingbacks, a Gucci purse, True Religion jeans, and a Elie Tahari sweater. Instead of going to 4 separate stores, I got it all in one stop. That is the beauty of any department store, but for higher end items, NM is perfect. Service is pretty decent as well. And I love the location right in Fashion Island. I can grab something to eat before or after. I spend at least an hour or two at NM whenever I'm there! read more

We started coming here completely by accident a few years back to see about after Christmas Sales on the top floor. I am going to probably dread it if anyone new finds out about this magical sale,... But the experience we had with Sales People in that store shocked us. They were all exceptionally nice and knowledgeable and - went way out of their way to help. We where flabbergasted. Nordstrom's is not that nice,.. SAKS is not even close and Bloomingdales is crazy. Neiman's was wonderful. So,.. we now drive to this store to check things out and to do some of our higher end purchasing. I do not know who to pay on the back,.. but keep up the good work. There are of course a few off employees who literally look away when they see us as we do not strive to look typical south OC,.. which is fine. I don't go shopping for salesperson attitude or shopper attitude either. Bravo to you. Now, if we could just get our customer data in the system correctly so we do not have to do it every visit. Oh,.. on a side note - we visited the LV store there and were also surprised by how friendly the LV Salesperson was. She was good. When it comes to finding unique and one of a kind pieces I enjoy looking at the products selected by Neiman Marcus. I have never been to a place where they carry styles, looks, pieces, and other items you won't find anywhere else. Yes I am an online shopper but there's also a big difference when you actually try a product on and that's why enjoy coming to Neiman Marcus. The only reason I'm giving this place a four star review is very simple. I have never been to a department store where as soon as I walk in you feel like you're being aggressively approach by every staff member(I'm not exaggerating either). I even noticed that when I start purchasing from one person(sales associate) all the other staff back away since that person's now getting the commission. I don't have a problem with someone getting commission for my purchases, but I do have a problem with someone trying to sell me something I personally do not want(Sure some items look amazing on the shelf but I know what goes with my style, skin tone and what matches other items in my closet). I feel like sometimes they push a certain brand or product to get a higher commission and so on. With that complaint the side I am addicted to Neiman Marcus.... I always look forward to season changes to see what new items they are now caring. read more

Eureka, I have found impeccable customer service here. Thank you to Lee and Anita who took care of me like royalty after I needed a curbside pick up 10 min before closing. The service was backed up and so I went into the store to see if I could get my package. Those lovely ladies dropped what they were doing and sprung into action, I felt like they truly cared that I got my items and I even got a follow up phone call from curbside pickup later to make sure I was taken care of. I used to prefer Neiman than Nordstrom for beauty products and their shoe department I do not know how the culture of the store employees have changed so much over the past year! They will size you up and down, approach you first smiling and see if you will buy anything. If you do not buy, they will turn into rude , arrogant, snobby and condescending in attitude quickly. If I go in wearing chanel, I will get very good service , but if I dress down, they will Ignore you and talk to themselves! Nordstrom has my loyalty from this moment on. I purchased a dress on the Neiman site which was too big and stopped by the store today to return. I was waiting near the Rag and Bone register as one of the sales associates, Sunny, clearly saw me and ignored. My Mom politely said, "Excuse me" and she snapped at my Mom that she was busy helping a customer. I was in complete shock then she walked over to the register and rudely told me that I can go to ANY register at the store (meaning: how dare I go to hers!) I only went to that register bc it's the same department as the dress! I then told her I had a return and she rudely ROLLED HER EYES at me, processed the return, stapled the receipt in an annoyed manner and passed it over. I said, "thank you" and she glared at me as if I was a criminal and snickered, "uh huh." WELL I called the store, asked for the overall Store Manager and left her a voicemail of my appalling experience. Leyla, who is the the VP and General Manager of the store, called me back, deeply apologized for the horrible experience and let me know she is investigating. She later followed up, again deeply apologized and let me know that she "personally handled" the situation. I told her the main reason I called was because I did not want that woman treating anyone like that ever again. Leyla was very understanding and I appreciate her taking the time and listening to her customers. So everyone- if someone like Sunny (long straight black hair with glasses) ever makes you feel inferior to set foot in the store, please call Leyla and let her know. I told Leyla that people like Sunny are reasons why customers choose to shop online to avoid such nastiness. read more

The customer service here is awful, rude, and makes you feel like you're beneath them. I was looking for a pair of pants online to go with a top for my New Year's Eve outfit. I saw that they had the pair of pants I was interested in at this location. I went in looking for the pants. Trying to find anyone to help you in the women's clothes department is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. If you do happen to come across someone, they normally bolt in the opposite direction to avoid any interaction. When I finally came across the pants I was looking for, I needed a different size. No one was around to help, so I looked at the pair the mannequin had on. They were the size I needed. In the process of looking at the size, the pin holding the pants up came undone and the pants fell down. Only because of this a woman came and goes "Oh! What do you need?!" I said these are the pants I wanted to try on for an outfit. I kid you not she rolled her eyes and said ok and then said she wanted to see if there was another pair in the same size in the back. I said that's fine. There wasn't and this was the only pair in that size. She said she would need to get someone to help take off the pants. Another woman came and when the other sales associate told her the situation, she looked at me and hissed "Jesus!!" When they got the pants off she glared at me as she walked off. I was taken to a fitting room to try them on. Never once given eye contact. It was as if I, a customer, totally inconvenienced them. I felt so embarrassed and upset. The pants fit, but I decided that I didn't want to spend money at a store that made me feel bad for asking them for help. I've worked in customer service. I know what is expected from this job, and it's to make the customer feel welcomed, appreciated and to help them with any questions they might have. You will not find that treatment here from these sales associates. read more

5 stars for Maria at Chanel boutique. She was very nice, patient and helpful. One day I decided to call Chanel at NM to check if they have the medium black caviar classic with gold hardware in store since there was none available at SCP since the price increased. Maria answered my call and told me there was only one medium available and I need to get to the boutique asap to snatch it. When I arrived, Maria told me she also had a small available in black caviar gold hardware. I listened to my sister and picked the small instead of medium since I already own a medium in light beige color and it is very rare that Chanel would produce any small classic in caviar gold hardware. If I didnt call to check and if Maria wasnt the one that helped me, I dont think I would be able to own that small classic. Thanks Maria, you're my favorite SA. read more

I spend thousands of dollars at this store every year and today was the most pathetic experience I've ever had and I'll never spend another dime here. The customer service is horrific. I stood in line for a solid 20 minutes with not even as much as an acknowledgement, (and with just 1 person ahead of me) and when it was finally my turn, the very rude older lady behind the register pulled another customer over and said to me "someone will be with you shortly". Um, what! "I've been waiting patiently in line", I said. She responds "well I was helping this customer earlier". I proceeded to leave. And then heard them laughing as I exited. Don't ever step foot In this store if you expect any type of respect. If by chance a manager is reading this, get your employees act together. From reading the previous reviews, it seems like the Chanel Boutique is great at this location. I have never visited the Chanel Boutique, so I wouldn't be able to speak on that. However, the rest of the store, is generally very rude and condescending. I have purchased all of my designer bags from here as Neiman Marcus has a wider selection than Nordstrom and Saks when it comes to some designers. However, I have been treated so poorly by the employees here. This last time was my last time I will step foot in this store. Although I overlooked how rude the employees were sometimes, I last went with my mom and brother. We were celebrating a Muslim holiday, so we were in ethnic clothes. We had decided to stop by Corona Del Mar, and pick up coffee at Pain Du Monde. I wanted to check out a few purses at Neiman Marcus, so we walked into the store in our ethnic attire. As soon as we walked in, we were given weird stares from the employees. The few employees who actually acknowledged us, sounded very condescending when they greeted us. No one actually came up to ask to help. After awkwardly looking at some purses, and asking a handbags salesperson a question, we left the store. The negativity and hostility was felt by all three of us. I don't want to call the store or employees racist as that is a huge accusation, we definitely felt mistreated due to our skin color and clothes. Neiman Marcus, please train your employees on how to be more human, and how to treat all humans the same. We all deserve the same treatment. I came here to buy a nice perfume and she did not care about what I was interested in and tried to sell me a higher priced perfume which I did not care for. I went home to buy the perfume I liked online as I did not want her to get any money off me.
