After some positive feedback from the owner, I decided to try this place out one more time. They added a Yelp check-in deal like I suggested and it was greatly appreciated, so with that being said, make sure you check-in for your free ginger shot (or $1 off your purchase). I went with his recommendation and store favorite, Pink Flamingo smoothie. It was good, but it didn't make me go WOW. I'd give it a 3.5/5 to be fair. I also went with their Açaí Mango Bowl. That one was actually pretty good, but I just wish they put more of the granola mix in the bowl, however, their açaí blend itself is very delicious and refreshing. You know what I like? I love it when management actually interacts with customers and tries to improve based on suggestions given, whether it's positive or negative feedback. I'm more than satisfied by the owner reaching out to me and listening to our reviews. Although their bowls are not the best, they were pretty darn good. I have been to this location once or twice . Its average size compared to the other Nekter locations I have visited in the area. I usually order the green apple detox from Nekter. When I ordered that from here it did not taste the same as I'm use to. And I have had many of those. I did not enjoy it as much. They offer same things as other Nekter locations. Bad thing about this location is parking. If you go on the weekends it will be very hard to find parking. It is located In a nice shopping center. read more

Then finally a worker came to take my order wasn't friendly at all and then I waiting another 15 minutes to get my drink while they still continued to make online orders before mine even though there was nobody inside waiting for them. This Nekter is conveniently located near Starbucks, Corner Bakery, and Cinnaholic (in case you want some other snacks or beverages to go with your juice). I must say that I do like the juices I've had at Nekter, although it is a little on the pricey side. My favorite drink is the protein superfood shake that comes isn't even made at the store, it's prepackaged in the refrigerated section (it tastes like a really healthy horchata). If you feel like having a nice, healthy pick-me-up, I would recommend this place. The staff here are really nice and helpful. I haven't had an unpleasant experience so far. read more

We usually get the chocolate ice cream with blueberries, strawberries, and pineapples. This location had buy one scoop of ice cream, get another scoop for $1 during the summer- promotion no longer valid. The location in Whittier still has the promotion going. The service was good. They were patient and helpful with suggestions. If you check in on Yelp you get a free ginger shot, which they forgot to give me. But I reminded them before we left. It's ginger juice and at the counter you can add cayanne or black pepper you it. I added both for a good kick. Overall, it was a good experience, minus them forgetting my ginger shot. read more

There are two Nekter locations in Brea and this one is by far my favorite! They are not stingy with their açaí bowls and the staff is always nice! The only bummer is that they close so early. A lot of times my husband and I have the hankering to have an açaí bowl for dinner. I'm typically off at 7, and they close at 6 :( so then we have to settle for the other Nekter. Over all the place is clean, good music and even tho it's super small it still is a chill place. Customer service isn't the best. The lady behind the register seemed to be in a hurry. If I could give this place no stars I would. I was very disappointed with the customer service I received at Nekter juice today (5/30/2020)at 3:30 PM. My son has severe autism so when we entered Nekter juice bar he had walked past an older woman, the older woman reprimanded him for not keeping a 6 feet of distance and then she reprimanded the both of us for not wearing masks and then as I was about to make an order my son hopped on the table in front of the cashier, the old woman approached me and stood a foot behind me and cursed and used vulgar language including the F word on how rude we were and how my son was getting his germs all over the table now. I told the cashier that she should probably have the customer removed because she was saying profanity in front of my 8-year-old son and all the cashier had to say was, "I am going to have to ask you to to have your son get off the table." And then she asked for my order I left without ordering anything and then as I was leaving I heard her apologizing to the old customer that had been swearing to me and to my son. I called the smoothie bar after this had occurred and asked the cashier if she had serviced that older woman, and she said she had because she had made an order prior to me entering the building. I explained to her that my son has autism and doesn't understand social distancing. And she said I'm sorry for your experience but you are supposed to wear a mask, stay 6 feet away from others, and not have your child sit on the table. I then asked for her name and she would not give it to me because she said she was not involved with what happened with me and the other customer. And I said she did not handle the situation well, then the cashier started to go off on me, so I hung up the phone. If anyone out there who reads this review has experience with people with special needs; I know you can relate on how disappointing this experience was. I will not support a business that services customers who treat children the way my son was treated today. read more

Bad hygiene! The girl behind the counter used the SAME gloves to ring me up, touch the computer screen, AND make my acai bowl with. And she had 3 boxes of gloves sitting right in front of her. The blender was screaming in the background so I couldn't let her know. I waited outside until she was done, when I came back in my bowl was on the counter and she was making something for another customer. I couldn't wait so I just left my bowl and went to work. To make it worse, I emailed Nekter directly and it's been 2 weeks, no response. Will never come back to any Nekter again, they probably don't even wash their fruit. $10 and time both wasted. read more
