I called and called and called trying to order over the phone but no one answered. When I got there I asked why they were not answering the phone. They said they unplugged it because they were getting too many calls from a food delivery service. But how is that professional that customers cant call now? Anyways I ordered the dragon fruit bowl and asked for extra strawberry instead of pineapple. When they gave me my bowl it had no pinepple but also only 2 teeny tiny strawberries. So I asked again... can you please do extra strawberry?? They maybe added 1 or 2 more tiny little strawberries (see picture of how empty the top of the bowl is). I would not order from here again. For the price they are very cheap and stingy with putting fruit on top of their bowls. Even when you ask for extra you get very little. When I go to bowlology (which yes is farther away) they always give me a full bowl for the same price. They are not cheap and stingy with putting fruit on top. I will drive the extra distance to have a decent fruit bowl that actually has fruit on it. Surprised people still even go to nekter with how little they give you for how much they charge. When I started going to nekter a few years ago they would fill the whole bowl up and charge $6.50. Now its almost $9 and you get way less. No thanks. Plus Ive never seen an adult working here. They always have kids for employees. Which is why when you ask questions like, why dont you answer your phone?, you get answers like oh we unplugged it. Review for Sunday 8/13/17 ZERO STARS The definition of a millennial ran establishment. No offense to millennials, but if the shoe fits... The place is empty. Girl takes the order for 2 drinks (one is modified). I pay for 2 drinks. Girl brings 1 drink to the counter. I ask "is this the modified or regular" ? She has a glazed look over her face. Doesn't say anything. I asked again. I had to remind her we ordered 2 drinks. With the roll of the eyes and what appears to be a case of RBF, the girl in all her youthful entitlement grabbed a blender as if we were inconveniencing her incompetence. With such a poor attitude, I asked for a refund of the second drink instead. I mean, I wouldn't want to be a burden to this fine establishment. Heaven forbid to ask someone to do their job...right? Without a word she walks to the back saying nothing. Assuming to get a manager but again, just disappears to the back exchanging no words. After a while, another young person (teens/early 20s) claiming to be a shift lead appears to issue the refund. Again, no communication. No how can we make this better. No customer service. I ask if he is the manager. He says no. Offers to get him in the back. Out comes the manager (The third millennial) this one was the kicker. With a condescending stare and canned "uh huh" to everything, he was either stoned or incapable. ---- To the owner. Your staff and hiring practices are far below standard. The product is good but not good enough to spend my $90 a week here simply due to the staff and service. There are other Nékter locations that train and execute with precision and deliver a far superior product with excellent service and attitude. These young kids you hire do not know how to put customers before themselves. They do not know how to handle "heat" . These shortcomings start from the top down. Owner, to Manager, all the way down. So I ultimately blame you, the owner, for allowing your management to mange this place into the dirt with the lack of fortitude and ability to lead a team properly in customer satisfaction. This is my favorite nekter bar out of all the ones I have visited. They are pretty consistent in their juices and bowls; there's never a huge chunk of acai in my bowl or a clump of kale in my drink. I come here very often-like once a week. It's always refreshing and the staff is friendly. I recommend the berry banana bowl and tropical cooler smoothie (if you want a green drink). They do charge money now for extra granola or fruit on bowls. I do sometimes get blueberries with a stem on them in my bowl, or the end of a banana. The wait is usually short, but when it's crowded, then it does take a while. If you download their loyalty app, you get a free menu item after 10 purchases! read more

I Love this place! I'm finally addicted to a food / drink place that is good for me! Great staff, a couple of the girls usually remember my name which is impressive (both tall, dark hair). Here's what I think about some of the things I've tried : Greenie - first time I tried a juice, it was a Greenie. Definitely a tough step for me, but man did I feel good after drinking it! It's awesome with ginger, maybe less celery though. They'll do that for you if you ask. Toxic flush - my favorite drink! It's sweet and refreshing and I still get my Veggies! I also add Kale Cure - since I like beets, I like this drink a lot. I don't think it's for everyone though Sublime - I do half oj half apple Berry banana bust - creamy, fruity, not too sweet Chocolate dream - add peanut butter. It costs 75 cents more, but it's worth it Date nut - with peanut butter and honey Orange crush - a fool proof drink. Anyone would like this! Accai berry banana Bowl - I Love these bowls! Yes I know, banzai is awesome too, but it's also 1000+ calories per Bowl. Apparently the nekter ones are around 500. Its so so filling Pb Bowl - best Bowl on the menu, you gotta try it. I like to add coconut flakes Classic cleanse - some of the green drinks are pretty crazy but man are the results awesome! After one my skin improved and I didn't crave unhealthy food like I thought I would. Very doable, highly recommend. Drink 6 is the best! Advance cleanse - id say harder than the classic since there are more Veggies. Nekter actually takes the time to juice REAL fruits/vegetables for your juice-- they don't just wave a magic wand and bibbidy bobbidy boo the drink arrives.. No! And that taste you're comparing it to? Hate to break it to you but those other juice places use additives and sweeteners to make their products more delicious. I feel like they get mad/annoyed when I hand them my Nekter Rewards card for a stamp...isn't that the point of a rewards program...to actually reward customers for coming back often and using their stamp card? Okay so I love nectar drinks and the employees there are always great but I'm extremely annoyed with their ever changing rewards card system. If I recall correctly, over the last couple years it was a stamp card, then it was a swipe bar card, then back to the stamp card, now they won't accept the stamp rewards card saying that the only way you can get credit for the card is to download their new app reward system, take a picture of your card, send the picture to the app and then who knows what happens from there. I have 1 star left to get my free drink and I shows it to them. Too bad. Gotta go to the app. Couldn't they just give customers a drink credit instead of forcing them to use an app or get shafted on their reward credits. Pretty annoying after spending literally hundreds of dollars of their drinks. I wasn't the only one in the store activated by this. Been ordering from Nekter for several times a week for almost a year now. They consistently put out an excellent product, and everyone on the team is very friendly and made the effort to learn and remember my name after a few visits. My usual order is the acai peanut butter bowl, which is a delicious source of carbs, healthy fats, and antioxidant micronutrients. They're a bit pricy, but if you're looking for a healthy, high quality source of juice, its very hard to do better than Nekter. Pro-tip: order online, show up ten minutes later and you can avoid waiting in line if they were busy. Strange customer service experience. I went to this location with my boyfriend and ordered 2 mango smoothies (which we always order). We both tasted the smoothie and both agreed it did not taste like anything. It was very bland so we decided to ask the cashier to remake the drink- he said no because "some people" abuse that ability. He said he would add agave for flavor- we declined and said it should taste like mango not just sweetener. I asked politely for the manager and he said he was the manager. I asked how he would remedy the situation because we were paying customers and obviously our drink was not up to regular Nekter standards. He started arguing that people liked his drinks all day without complaints and that he would not change it. (We were polite the entire time and not arguing so this was a weird reaction). After repeating that the drink was bland and I am a paying customer he just said "I'll refund it then" and he grabbed the drinks. It was definitely unlike the usual Nekter customer service we receive from the mission viejo location. strange. If that was the manager we're definitely not going to this location again. Came to Nekter for the first time with my boyfriend for a quick healthy drink. We ended up sharing a 24oz. of The Greenie which is loaded with lots of vegetables and a couple of fruit. Honestly, I thought it was going to taste somewhere along the lines of Jamba Juice but figured out that they juice vegetables and fruit and for the drink we ordered it had a lot of vegetables so it did not come close to tasting sweet. But we still liked it and decided that if you're going for something raw, this is the place to go. They didn't take long on making our drink from what I remembered but they might need to add more drinks to their menu to give more variety. Today I came in for a 16 oz orange juice. I took awhile after ordering as there were some mobile orders in front of me. It seems like the majority of the business was via mobile orders instead of walk in at the time of my visit. I received my frothy orange juice (which was not filled to the top) and walked out of the store. I tasted it and spat it back out because it tasted like a bitter vegetable (which I later learned was kale). I looked at the clear cup and there was a lot of GREEN floating particles and flakes in my orange juice. Keep in mine this was OJ only, not blended, not mixed with any other item. After noticing that this juice was disgusting & it was a buzz kill, I walked back into the store and asked the employee what the green junk in my drink was...they said that it was from the drink before mine that had kale in it. And sometimes that just happens. UMMMM GROSS. This indicated that they do not clean their juicer machines... Nasty! At that point they had offered to remake it, but I asked for a smoothie instead (they comped the price difference if there was one so that was good customer service- hence the 2 stars instead of 1) my orange juice craving obviously went away after drinking kale OJ. We come frequently to this location and they've been great. They're friendly and the order comes out pretty quickly. I've found them to be clean, including the restrooms. I wish there was more seating inside the place (little kid friendly - regular height chairs). There's a lot of outside seating but we personally seem to get a lot of bees or flies every time we sit outside.
