Ordered on the app to be picked up a smoothie and added protein and pineapple. Arrived and saw that even though I added to the original smoothie recipe and was charged extra, my smoothie was still given to me in the size 16oz. I brought that up with the two ladies working there and one of them said, "That's Jamba Juice, we don't do that." I told her the staff always do that when I order extra items in my drink selection. She stated, "Not sure who did that for you, but we don't do that." I had to leave because I was on my way to work so early in the morning. I'm very disappointed in the customer service. During a time of inflation she would rather throw away something I paid extra for rather than add it to the next size up and continue the awesome customer service that my family and I have always received from that store. Once I was a barista at starbucks, I always understood that not everyone can afford to go and get a fancy drink everyday. So when those customers came in I made sure the value of their money and choice in store was worth the wait! Someone needs to teach that short little girl the meaning of customer service and what happens when sales continue to drop. read more

This is my third time in this nektar juice bar. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled that your employee Mia would pluck fruit from someone else's açaí bowl and place it into mines. I'm allergic to mango and specifically asked for my berry banana bowl for a reason. When I called her out on it she rolled her eyes and smirked and another employee chimed in and said you should have told us you had an allergy. No ma'am you should have not taken stuff out of another customers bowl on the counter and placed it inside mine. Mia was laughing and smirking as I'm asking for my money back! Disappointed sometimes when you tell the receptionist to put a little ice and the person that makes your drink fills your cup with more than half ice. I wish I could give ZERO stars. I received AWFUL Customer service at the Modesto Nekter location off McHenry. I was there about 5 minutes and the cashier just looked at me and didn't say a word, then a couple came in and the cashier asked if they had placed an online order and they said yes, and he proceeded with making their order. The same guy looked at me again, but asked another lady who was also waiting what was her name, and she was able to get her order. Once again the same guy looked at me and started doing something else. A few minutes later another worker looked at me and proceeded with putting the juice she made in the refrigerator. I asked is there an order for Stephanie. The worker said yes, and pulled the same juice back out of the refrigerator and put it on the counter, by then I was NOT HAPPY. I told her to cancel my order and refund my card, and she started whispering to the other girl who was refunding my card; they both had an attitude because I canceled and asked for a refund. I have always had GREAT Customer service at this location. The sad part is the workers didn't even bother to ask me why I wanted to cancel/refund. I will not be going back to the Modesto location. I will give my money to the Health food store on McHenry to get my fresh juice. read more

I decided to try this place with my two daughters. We ordered an açaí bowl and two dragon bowls. There were four girls working there, they were doing more socializing than working. It took at least 30 minutes to get our bowls, and there were a dozen other people waiting too. They forgot to make one dragon bowl and when we confronted them, they made 4-5 other bowls and smoothies before they made ours. Instead of making a dragon bowl they gave us another açaí bowl! Overall, I will not be going there again and I wouldn't recommend it unless you like waiting a really long time and not getting what you asked for! read more

What took the level of service from good to great was Jared, Cam & Kat! Got an açaí smoothie here, but where was the açaí? The smoothie tasted like banana, was not even close to dark purple like it should be, and was blended so poorly that I was drinking chunks of ice/fruit instead of actual smoothie consistency. I don't think I have had a worse smoothie in my life, stay away. read more

I waited 2 months for this place to finally open after their announcement to open in Modesto. I missed out going there the first weeks because of health problems. But today I went there at 2 on a Sunday in 100° summer heat and was told there was no more "ice cream" and none expected for the rest of the scorching modesto summer. I've had it in orange county..not actual ice cream but a healthy version that tastes like ice cream and costs a lot more. My husband bought the peanut butter acai bowl which was perfect he said. It's not huge though and cost over $8. I went there for the nut based ice cream, and I did try the acai bowl which tasted great. But I believe ending the ice cream run half way through summer in the scorching valley heat is poor business especially with a store three doors down that serves cold treats year round and less expensive. The store is nicely decorated with parking right out front and clean accessible bathrooms. read more
